Folks , this man has taught me to pick a banjo with the lessons he has . My dad's been picking for 67 years and I have been doing it for 2 years. Thanks again Jim .

Hi Jim! Haven't seen your videos in a while. Hope you're enjoying good health and good fortune. Recently I picked up a gorgeous Kasuga 5 string with D tuners from Facebook Marketplace for about $65... I could not believe it. I've been playing a whole lot of that and my Gold Tone Cello Banjo. Hope you're doing great. Take care. Cheers.

Being so new to music and still in the very beginning stages of learning to play the banjo, I'm curious to know why you have you many control modules on the board. Is it to modify the sound is some way?

In short, yes, it’s all about altering the sound.
When amplifying acoustic instruments using pickups the sound often gets changed enough from the natural sound it drives folks like me to look for pedals that can nudge the sound back to a more acoustic tone.
The board everything is mounted on solves the problem of keeping everything together and provides power.

That is a really nice board but it makes you wonder what the designers were thinking when they thought up the design of those legs! Surely these guys are musicians, right? Honestly, i think they must be studio musicians with zero live and touring experience. Between the collapsible legs and the chintzy power cable that otherwise nice unit wouldnt last one week on the road touring in a van of 20 something year old bluegrass pickers. Hell, that unit wouldnt make it a week on tour with the backup band for the mature Christian Womans Choir of Davenport Iowa! It needs a bit of a redesigning and it owes them ladies an apology, lol!

I’ve been using it regular for a couple of months with no issues.
Still not a fan of the legs, but everything has held up just fine.
I’m not rough on gear, but things do take a beating, so let’s see what it looks like after 6 months.

Between the folding legs, the cheap transformer, the disco lights, and the country or origin I wouldn't have that pedal board in my garage. Love ya man but you made a poor decision endorsing this POS on your site.

I do feel like I need to address the country of origin comment from my phone... built in China, as I practice my banjo... built in China... Reckon where all these pedals I've got are from...
Hope the comment reaches you though, since you're probably using a device with the same country or origin.
It's really time all of us come to realize that these sorts of comments aren't particularly well thought out - especially when making them from a device with a source of origin of the on that is generally getting complained about.

@@JimPankey- I don't know what it is you are trying to say here but the fact of the matter is buying from them is like paying a criminal to empty your house.

@78tag so… where’d you buy your USA made phone or computer that you left this comment with??

@@JimPankey - exactly my point. Where does it stop? You just going to keep walking behind the rest of the sheep until you blindly walk off the cliff? I realize this is a music site but the people of this country need to wake up and it doesn't help when people like you who have some influence on others just pretend there is nothing wrong with selling out.
