    Evacuees being taken in buses to emergency rest centres in Mablethorpe. British Army and RAF (Royal Air Force) convoys enter Mablethorpe to rescue people. Army DUKWs (amphibious vehicle) leaving with evacuees. Major General R.P. Harding and staff go to view damage. Mablethorpe's high street. Rough seas. Shot showing how the sea wall was breached.       Да, это было ужасно. Оно поразило восточное побережье Англии, а также затронуло Нидерланды и Бельгию. Уровень воды был на 3 метра выше обычного прилива из-за ветра в Северном море со скоростью 120 миль в час ✌️

    You have to laugh. At 6.11 a woman is being hauled out of the back of a lorry. What a load! Grabbing a head, a hat and stiff as a board!

    This flood was talked about a lot when I was growing up in the early 1980's. Apparently Sutton-on-Sea was totally wiped out, it will happen again in the future too unfortunately. If the sea level rises with global warming all of these places will be permanently lost to the sea forever
