They're kidnapping Kosem! Ahmed immediately suspects Safiye Sultan and expels her to the Maiden's Tower. Safiye Sultan is making such an offer that Sultan Ahmed is shocked! While Kosem is being held captive, she manages to reach very important information!
While Ahmed makes concessions to save Kosem, Kosem Sultan puts herself in great danger by trying to escape! As Halime Sultan learns that Mustafa is sick, she goes to him, ignoring all orders! Zülfikar and Hümasah continue to get closer to each other! Humaşah's husband, Hasan Pasha, comes to the palace. Hasan Pasha, who learns that Hümaşah Sultan wants to divorce him, goes crazy! He threatens Hümaşah so much that Hümaşah is cornered.
Kösem, on the other hand, thinks that it was Hümaşah Sultan who put her in this situation and takes action to learn her secret. While Kösem Sultan is taking firm steps towards power, Safiye Sultan is coming back to life with a miracle! As Kösem Sultan prepares to defeat Hümaşah, great changes begin to occur for everyone in the harem, especially the prince Mustafa.
Magnificent Century: Kosem is about Kosem Sultan married to the "State-i Aliyya", when her six-year-old son ascended to the throne, having the position of "Regent of the Sultanate", as well as the power gained by defeating all her enemies and becoming a sultan who brought the world to her knees with her regency. The power of Kosem Sultan became the greatest authority of the state through Murad IV, will be shaken by the iron fist of Sultan Murad, who wants to seize power. With his determination and might, Murad will give the Ottoman Empire its strongest period after Suleiman the Magnificent. The defeats of the state inside and outside will close the era.

Kosem is the best example of: you either die a hero or live enough to see yourself become the villain 😈

Halime Sultana didnt even think twice. Yes there were would be no princes anymore for the throne if they were killed but what if Sultan Mustafa died later or was killed, that would mean the end of the dynasty.

he was healthy but the closure did its job, maybe if they didn't lock him up again later maybe he would get better
it was shut down by Safiye's actions, but she kept going and sucked Iskender in and he too lost his life
the real disease is ambition at all costs
Halime added her own too but it's not her fault anyway because he was already on the knife's edge

Halime was such a greedy woman. She was using her daughter for power...

Yes she was. But it can be understood. She had 3 children (only 2 were shown in the TV series) and both she lost because of the intrigues of Safiye Sultan. Her son Murad III killed Mahmud, the son of Halime. So, she was so afraid to lose one more child that she tried her best to protect at least the last her son. So, for that she needed power.

The sultanas all fought for power and for sultanate of their sons.....not just halimah...even kosem ..she kills her sons for power . They are all greedy for power and they would shed blood for the sake of dynasty. It's so sad.

Hurrem did so too she didn't let mirihmah marry for love (Bali Bey) but for hurrem's own power increase she married her off to rustem but Bali Bey was a more honourable man

@@aeroTnz But at least she asked from Bali Bey for Mihrimah. But Halime was more greedy, she married her daughter to the one she loved but used them for her means, and at the end she ordered to kill him...
