- I put a lot of time into making these isolated tracks because I love Van Halen. If you feel like being the most awesome person ever, and would like to support my channel, my Venmo is @VanHalenIsolated and my CashApp is $clockwork26 . If you make a donation of $20 or more, I can make you a personal isolated track, whether it be Van Halen or another band. I cannot promise that it will come out amazing, but it could come out amazing, or awful (in which case we can choose another or you can be okay with the one you have.). I pay for a few programs to make the isolated tracks and it will really help if you could even send a couple of bucks. It all adds up and it would be much appreciated. The more I receive, the more time I can put towards doing this. Also, let me know of any ideas for the channel as well!

This is just so ridiculously good. Ed's playing and tone was so aggressive in 95-96. Would absolutely love to hear iso's on Feelin', Aftershock and Me Wise Magic. Some of Ed's absolute best work. Keep up the great work.. These are killer..
Thanks. Me Wise Magic is one that’s mixed so that an ISO comes out really bad. Gonna have to wait for some better technology or if somehow I get ahold of a master track or what have you. I’ll look into the others though.
@@VanHalenIsolated just my wholly uneducated opinion, but to my ears the mix on Balance is the best VH ever achieved on an album. Not sure how that translates to an iso but man, what a guitar sound.
Yeah ISOs can be weird. Sometimes there’s indicators of what MIGHT not work like heavy drum work and low guitar volume but even then it’s not know until I try. And yeah Balance was well mixed it sounds like. I’m not a professional in that area or anything but it sounds good lol.
Fire in the Hole would be another great guitar isolation. The only song with Cherone I actually liked. The extro on that was off the charts.
@@Movie-Collectibles there's some great playing on III. Year to the Day would be tremendous.
This is probably my favorite van halen riff
That's what I said on the other video to 🤣
Kinda has a dokken groove lol
Whenever I see "What song intro makes you crank up the volume?" it's THIS song
100%
Damn that transition to the chorus is so damn cool. Thanks for doing this one.
Such a pleasant sound!
OMG!!! This is my all time favorite King Edward riff!!!
Absolutely incredible song!
Have to get Feeling on here. Out-of Sammy Era Feeling is one of thr best and fiery guitar playing for sure.
Thanks for making my day, this is awesome!!!!!!
One of my favorite Van Hagar songs. Just an absolute Dark sounding song! It Rocks Ass!
Thank you!
Thank you for isolating this. You're appreciated. This came out sounding very aggressive. . .I'm happy to hear the original guitar, Edward outdid himself. These songs from 1996 were especially artistic. Perhaps you would consider isolating Respect the Wind? You'd be the only person who has been able to do so. Believe in Jesus!
I’ve been thinking about that one actually. I love that track.
Yeah Respect the Wind is a no go. I tried everything and it seems when they mixed Alex’s part with Eddie’s, they mixed it on the same track. Until I can have access to a master track or technology gets even smarter, we’ll have to earmark that one.
@@VanHalenIsolated There are two versions, the soundtrack and the score version. Are they both like that? If so, bummer.
Ohhh I see! I'm glad you like these songs. It is a very happy thing that you would put your skills into bringing these guitars back to life in their original sense. . .I'm very, very proud of you. . .and very pleased. . .this guitar track alone I will listen to the rest of my life just as often as the full song.
Thank you for being so extremely cool. Shine on.
Brilliant 🤘

Any way you could isolate the vocal overdubs on this??
Yeah I’m sure I could do that. I’m not sure how popular that’d be but I’m making a list of requests and I’ll check that out.
@@VanHalenIsolated I know Mikey did those live, but Ed did the studio overdubs. I’ve always liked his vocal parts in the harmonies. If you can do it, great! If it’s too much work, no worries!
Is this all done on the same guitar?
As far as I know, Sammy plays the rhythm sections when Ed is playing lead.
@@VanHalenIsolated
Incorrect!
Did I hear Human's Being playing??
One of the only Van Hagar songs I like.
I listen to this one and Don’t Tell Me (What Love Can Do) a lot more than the other Hagar era songs. First 6 albums all the time, then this one and Don’t Tell Me, and once in awhile 86-95
@@VanHalenIsolatedyep, nothing touches Diamond Dave
5150 was the best album for Van Hagar, it’s at least 4 out of 5 stars.
@@Movie-Collectibles5150 was the beginning of the end for Van Halen.
Lindsey Buckingham couldn’t touch a song this good, no wonder Fleetwood Mac didn’t want him back in the band. Go lookup his interview, Lindsey you could go back to the woodshed but you’ll never reach this level on guitar
I would like this song much more were it not associated with Twister and the break up of the band.
I love the riff, however the verse and all I don't think fits it. The chorus is alright but other than that I think they kinda messed it up with those vocals. It's a still cool song though, don't get me wrong.
Agree to disagree on this one. This is one of the few Hagar songs I’ll listen to often. I think it’s a masterpiece imo
@@VanHalenIsolated Oh yeah! I completely respect your opinion, matter of fact I have a similar opinion to yours. It is probably one of the best VH riffs, production is amazing, but the idea for the vocals are just not my cup of tea.
