- This video will take you through our journey to one of our most beloved Holiday Destination - Wildernest Nature Resort at Chorla Ghats, Goa. Approx 60 kms from Belgaum. Roughly same distance from Goa too..This doubles up as a Couple honeymoon destination as well as a very rich wildlife , birding and biodiversity hotspot for explorers. In this video is the journey from Kolhapur to Wildernest . The next video will show our exploring the place, the treks etc....

I saw this video! And enjoyed but one thing uh come from MH and go wildernest via belgaum karnataka and uh skip belgaum city in there ur video! By the way awsm video❣️
waterfalls are called vazar (ozar in marathi) in this area. dual waterfalls of virdi are visible from this resort. the main fall is called vajara sakhala. we did trek to this fall from virdi village in maharashtra , this is different route than it takes from resort. we need more such properties. good video.

mam after reach location have to park 2 wheeler in entrace or we can park in near
parking is seperate abt 1 1/2 km from the resort. The resort vehicles will take you further from this point

Which property is better for valley view cottage ? WIlderness or Swapnagandha !! We are staying one night at the pool view room .
Both have equally great views. We personally love Wildernest because we are more of jungle / wildlife enthu people

What wild animals can be seen at this place.
Hi Jason ! the resort itself is surrounded by woods and being in the Western Ghats of India, lot of reptiles, amphibians and avian biodiversity is around us. As far as animals, there have been sighting of leopards, sloth bears and occasional tiger sightings too.. though mostly during the nights. We have personally seen a lot of wild dogs and Indian Gaurs while on a trek.

Dear Vatsalji, we generally visit every year in the monsoons..first or second week of August. Even winters are awesome here
@@prasadpandhare1 thank you so much for the prompt response. Actually me and my wife are planning to visit coming Jan but we're not sure how the place will be during January considering it is not monsoon. Don't want to miss out on those waterfalls...
@@vtsl08 winters too are beautifull. If you are a birding enthusiast...you will enjoy a lot..ofcourse monsoons are our favourite

You should visit Wildernest in November... Winters are beautiful here...
I suggest experience both i.e valley view and jungle stay..
