A video showing very very heavy rains around our house in Pinjal village Wada. So heavy that we could watch infront of our eyes an empty lake filling up and overflowing. The whole place was literally drenched, small n big streams started flowing...huge area of paddy fields filled up with water....

Which property is better for valley view cottage ? WIlderness or Swapnagandha !! We are staying one night at the pool view room .
Nice video...even im visiting this place on 28 aug...is that a good tome to go there???how was the stay??and the treks?also did you get any leeches on you...?and lastly,did you see any animal?
Thats best time. Infact anytime of the year. Stay is amazing. Treks are superb..i did not go this year..we visit every year..no leeches this time, saw some.birds, snakes and pug marks of leopard on the trek route

@@capteagle9 there will be rains, but not full day. Generally this place experiences heavy rains..but being located on the edge of the valley winds play a large part in the unpredictable nature of the climate even in peak rainy season.

Coming May 2021 will be completing 10 years for me & my wife ( Priya ) for visiting Wildernest. Thanks guys To most surprising, we got the same valley view cottage " Amrutha " when we had our stay there . Lovely & Breathtaking view's from those cottage balcony .Also amazing food & wonderful nature view's wch you guys would have definitely enjoyed . In short " Value for Money trip ". @@sagarkane9310 i gues sagar if you are fond of raw nature..u should stay at wildernest and if u need a little chic or luxury type of setup...then go to swapnagandha... otherwise both are equally great.. we love Wildernest though

parking is seperate abt 1 1/2 km from the resort. The resort vehicles will take you further from this point

You should visit Wildernest in November... Winters are beautiful here... I suggest experience both i.e valley view and jungle stay..

waterfalls are called vazar (ozar in marathi) in this area. dual waterfalls of virdi are visible from this resort. the main fall is called vajara sakhala. we did trek to this fall from virdi village in maharashtra , this is different route than it takes from resort. we need more such properties. good video.
What wild animals can be seen at this place.
Hi Jason ! the resort itself is surrounded by woods and being in the Western Ghats of India, lot of reptiles, amphibians and avian biodiversity is around us. As far as animals, there have been sighting of leopards, sloth bears and occasional tiger sightings too.. though mostly during the nights. We have personally seen a lot of wild dogs and Indian Gaurs while on a trek.
