This may sound stupid but I love how "normal" you are. I think a lot of people after gaining your fame/status may start acting like they are something else but you are just so so human, a real and kind human!! :)

You are a breath of fresh air amidst all the “everyday” makeup tutorials using contouring, cut crease, baking, and false eyelashes. You provide a minimalistic approach that enhances the natural features and is doable by the everyday busy woman.

A minor thing in the entirety of your video, but I’m so glad you put on sun screen. I see so many tutorials where they skip it entirely or only do it when it’s very sunny outside and it just makes me cringe for their skin.

I don't know how Lisa does it, but when she talks about cosmetics and skincare products, it never comes across as 'superficial' or 'vain', but more like an artist talking about her craft and tools of trade. Which I think, is exactly what it is. Love ❤️❤️

Dear Lisa, as I was doing my makeup yesterday I sadden realized how bad my upper eyelids are. You know little grinkles everywhere. It was so hard to difusse the eye shadow, please make a video about this, show us how to make them less visible. Please, please.

@@mariajoaoprimo7218 same. I am young but I have a lot of eyelid skin and too little space (kind of nearly-hooded eyes) so my eyelid are naturally a bit wrinkly. my skin doesn't sit 'tight' over my eyeball/browbone etc.

People seem to always say not to put blush on the front of cheeks but in the summer I only put just the tiniest bit of a pink or a red there then a dab on the nose - just like when I get some sun. It's like she says here it looks like a natural flush. Love you Lisa from me, the fireflies, cicadas, and the frogs at dusk in Alabama :)

I haven’t watched a makeup tutorial for months - and after this, suddenly remembered why I started watching them in the first place: not for the products but for the skill. I can’t think of another makeup artist who does more with less. A sheer joy to watch: from the application of foundation with fingers to setting your face with cornflour, the deftness of Lisa’s movements, the subtlety of the application. The lack of pretension and fanfare... ahhhh. Such a relief from the grey dreariness of our semi-existence during COVID lockdowns (in Australia in winter).
On a repeated viewing, l noticed your glass ginger jar lamp, you won't believe it, but l have the exact same lamp! Have had it for decades.
Went to a Large retail store selling only makeup, on our Country Club
Plaza district. I asked the young saleslady if she was familiar with your videos. She was not, but as soon as we were rung up, she got on her phone to search for you!
I'm sure she will show all the other salespersons! Perfect for them.
I asked about a cream eye shadow, they only stocked one. It had 4 colors, tiny-sized squares for $30 plus tax. And the colors were, as my friend said, grim! No individual pots of eye shadow. Thanks again for your wonderful videos!

I love these at home videos. They seem less formal than the white back ground videos when we weren’t all stuck at home. You seem happier and the videos feel more personal. The makeup is obviously great no matter where you film but these vids are wonderful!
I love that you show your audience the correct amount of sunscreen to use for your face. I see so many influencers that normally don’t use it and when they do, they say you need a dime or pea sized amount. So much money wasted on anti aging skincare when they could’ve stopped most of their aging by using sunscreen every day.

When you used that cornflour... I remember how we used to melt clear hard candy on damp hands and use it to hold a hairdo, about 25 yrs ago... Because it's cheaper and safer than aerosol. We do it a handful of times when we have primary school activities where we need to do makeup and hair...
