They should have made a hell dungeon level to find the doom items in.
Yeah. There could have been a ghoul in a old world army r and d center. The red rocket could have only been a means to access it because a separating wall broke exposing a service tunnel. After you saved the ghoul scientist in a control room you could have gone through a portal to another world to prevent a secondary doorway being created from their end. Another of lost potential there.
associated quests are the only things that give these content packs value. A cool new hell themed dungeon, even using vanilla assets, would have made the BGF so much more interesting.

as for the stats, at this point im thinking they planned to put in the doom 2016 armor getting all the stats and such done first but then something fell apart and they threw in the old style version at the last second.

Dope Yes, but there wasn't any actual lore to the game back then--just pixelated corridor after corridor and then some pixelated hellish landscapes later. The new Doom gives people some background on some places and items(including the BFG).

NinjaMoleRat 1 you can get 1 or 2 pieces of van Graff combat armour from durable dann' s sacked caravan. It's just northwest of vault 34. Hope this helps you get that sleek black combat armour.

I just use a full set of combat armor with flight helmet and use mods to try make it look kinda like Doom Guy's armor (On the PS4)
And I'll also use wacky weapons mod to try to create my some of the weapons like the rpg, super shotgun, ect.

Yes this game has issues. Every splash damage weapon has limited accuracy and range. You can't use them unless you are in f power armour to absorb the damage you are going to do to yourself. If this is on purpose I don't understand why.

my dad played doom when he was younger and his love for doom got passed down to me. I still have the trilogy for the doom games that's why when i saw this i got that nostalgia feeling, it got to the point where i went back and played all the original doom games and it's been fun so i went and got the marine armor and the BFG of the creation club and that's been my weapon of choice for all the side missions i didnt do during my initial play through of fallout 4. thank you oxhorn for covering this on your channel.

creation club = 'lets add mods from the free nexus, that are better designed, have thought behind it and are free to download and make them pay for the mods, no effort on design and let the suckers spends money' club

It isn't stealing a mod if you own the property which the mod is based on.
Looks like they should have pulled the Praetor Suit from DOOM 2016 instead of the classic DOOM Marine Suit. Hell the massive lack that they don't combo the massive selling points would be a huge weapon pack instead of just one op weapon. Bethesda really wants to combine games to make equal footing for the DCEU and the MCU their universe that contains DOOM, Prey, Wolfenstein, Quake, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and who knows what else for downloading.
Heres what I wished for the creation club
1:Upgraded mods
I hoped that it would send an invite to mod authors who have proven to be trustworthy
They and 9 other mod authors would do a sort of collab to make sure that if you bought and installed all mods, They would work in sync and being able to work with or without the other mods. Giving the mods a sense of polish
2:Payment to to the authors
the payment ratio should be either
60%-40% (Mod Authors-Bethesda)
70%-30%
3:Lore Friendly
(Yes I know Oxhorn also wished for this to happen)
All the mods could be seen as possible cannon or at least is or contributes to the lore, such mods as "Renaming all setters to random names" (I forgot the mod). That would be a mod that could join it. Not anything like "Turn everything pre war" or anything the such. Weather mods (Not all green) (And Snow works because of nuclear winter). So if it was lore friendly then yes, I could see it as a success.
4:Sets
By this I mean if it is too much work for them to eventually make all mods say a 100, then make say 20-50 mods guaranteed to work if you have them, then on the authors individual times they can with their new finances to collab to make the mods work.
5:Annual
Make it so that there is maybe 10 mods a week or maybe 20-30 mods once a month to keep instead. This also means these mods HAVE to have be of premium quality. To keep up prices or keep the arguably overpriced mods already to be worth it

The biggest problem with the Creation Club is that it is ONLY for cosmetic items. There is no room for quest material like voiced lines or an actual quest. The .esl format doesn't allow for anything complex.
The Chainsaw, some more power armor/pipboy skins, a Tunnel Snakes thing, (most likely the jacket) another bunch of Settlement items, and the Autoaxe from Falloutr 3 were also leaked, might be around the end of October.
Also it's possible the next CC update is going to contain Wolfenstein Stuff, since Wolfenstein 2: The Old Colossus comes out around the beginning of the month. I'd predict we're a few months away from some new content that isn't as bad as the CC stuff currently at our viewing.

What mod are those power armor stands from in the end of the video? I see them in various places in the game, but as fare as I know, I can't build them.
It's interesting to note that the Doom outfit had elbow guards, which you often don't see in fan art, or even on the original cover for the game. In the old mid-90's novel, the hero at least notes that he's wearing a pressure suit underneath.

You know what would be fucking cool? Dazzle camoflauge power armour. Camoflauge was invented before the divergence, and it could serve the same purpouse as the actual camoflauge in the real world. Tha being, concealing the shape, size and direction of a large object instead of trying to hide something that can't be hidden.
When I heard Creation Club was releasing a Doom Marine Armor I immediately hoped it would be a full suit of power armor from the new Doom (2016). How badass would that have been! And instead we got this. I was pretty disappointed.

at 1:12 there is an easter egg at the beginning of the game in Doom, on the door it says vault tec on it, if that were to be a part of the story then the doom bfg and armor could be canon to the fallout universe.
I wish the Chrome paint job was still available on Creation Club. I have a set of T-45d power armor that I'd love to apply that paint to. It's the closest thing to the paint job on the Brotherhood T-45d in Fallout 3

How do you get the chrome power armor paint? I can't seem to find it anymore.
It's categorized as w/e the Gauss Rifle is, that's what it's based off. You can always sneak a peek at what type of weapon it was based on by favouriting the weapon in your quick menu and then looking at the outline of the gun when you bring up the favourites menu. The outline for the BFG 9000 is the stock Gauss Rifle.
These are probably hardcoded (unfortunately) so w/e new weapon is introduced into the game will always have the outline of w/e weapon it was based on in the favourites menu.
The Marine armor looks like an old Masters of the Universe action figure.

I find the space marine armors rad resistance very funny especially since I remember in doom 1 and 2 losing health very quickly walking in toxic waste also I believe the same waste is instant death in doom 2016.
I have a mod that adds a barrel for my plasma rifles that has simillar explosive effect. Not impressed, not buying.

There's a Gatling Laser weapon overhaul that addes a BFG barrel that functions similar to this weapon, spools up and fires a large laser that creates a massive explosion.
Either way I think the BFG is at the very least lore friendly in the sense that its basically just a man portable plasma cannon, the weapon design itself sucks and I would have preferred a weapon that is significantly larger fired from the hip or over the shoulder.
What we got instead was so lazily added I have no words to express my frustrations. No modifications, not even a fucking reload animation, its pathetic...

Imagine, you head into the Glowing Sea because a garbled radio signal leads you there. When you follow the signal, you come across a large Church of Atom shrine, where you find a group of CoA's performing a ritual. As that ritual goes on, a portal opens up in front of the shrine, and out of that portal springs Doom Guy. After a few seconds of confusion, a Hell Knight bursts through the portal. Doom Guy, in a last ditch effort to defeat the enemy, shoots his BFG into the portal. As the plasma hits the portal, the CoA's, Doom Guy and the Hell Knight are disintegrated by the exploding portal leaving nothing left but the BFG and a unique Skin item used to make a Hell Knight trophy at your settlement.
There you go Bethesda, that's how you do cross-game mods...

You know what I think would be cool? If we could have a Creation Club where Ulysses came to the Commonwealth, and where you get a new quest, and you have to track him down and kill him, and you can get Old Glory, and Ulysses’ Mask and Duster.
I can see a lore reason for swamp camo paint. Its a more "tropical" region camo which makes sense if they were fighting in China or the Pacific island fronts.
I'm ready to be mad at shitty creation club offerings.
Edit: Seems Bethesda is doing their best to promote their other games with CC. Very disappointed with both DOOM items. They're overpriced and awkward looking, and the decision to use the classic marine armor instead of the Praetor suit is something I can't understand. If they're gonna introduce DOOM content, at least do the series justice and have it be high quality.
If you want better doom armor, use the mod "Doom Slayer." It has the Praetor suit from the 2016 reboot and it looks great

Highly unlikely. No external scripts on ps4 per Sony’s guidelines, and that armor simply can’t be created with in-game assets. A shame, as I too play on Ps4.
The creation club isn't dying fast enough.
The BFG in fallout is really just a gimmick. The Gauss rifle does about 200 more damage total per shot. The BFG as a mechanic in DOOM is supposed to kill anything in one hit, other than a boss.
Fallout already has its BFG 9000: the Fat Man.

There's nothing wrong with Doom... until its in my Fallout game.
Digital camo would look good on Power and Combat armors. The Vietnam era Tiger Stripe camo looks good as well. Who's to say that similar patterns could not be designed in FO universe. Most US troops in WWII were clad in solid OD green utilities, not camo. Camouflage was first implemented only in the special forces during WWII.
Thing is after WW2 we learned a lot of things from the Germans. They issued everyone who was on the front lines Camouflage Clothing. To think that the U.S. Military would still just wear OD Green clothing by 2077 is a idiotic idea seeing how the Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle and the All American in Fallout New Vegas had Camouflage paint. OD Green isn't going to help you in a Desert or City Environment.
The cool part is, if you use this mod with the legendary weapons mod (apply an affect to any weapon/armor) then you can make a Two-shot BFG.
ALL OF THESE MODS NEED TO BE FREE FOR SEASON PASS HOLDERS!!!

They changed the wording to the description not too long ago for the season pass. It now specifically states that it only covers F.H., N.W., W.W.,V.T, and contraptions. Before the change it said that it covered ALL future downloadable content! Smooth move Bethesda. . . .At least I still have the physical advertisement, that still says "ALL ACCESS GRANTED". Not that it means anything. Just a reminder of their shitty tactics.
In case you couldn't tell, I also agree. Since the items in CC are technically micro-transactions, they get away with murder here. They are killing their fanbase, IMHO.
Court if you still got it post it all over the place. Let people know they intentionally robbed them not once, not twice but thrice times over with this crap. The crap they are pulling is UNACCEPTABLE to the gaming community. We are not the douche nozzles that like the crap Destiny and it's ilk have pulled so they can take the crap back to lame MP games and actually put work into their storytelling if they want big sales. At the very least put some effort and thought into a "paid" modding area. As it stands now we get crap quality at outrageous prices and horrible modder support or pay rate. Seriously paying out a grand to a creator when you make 10 times that amount or more off the mod right now at CC's current state is ludicrous. Let's pray they don't screw up so badly that they shelf the series like Bioware did to Mass Effect.
Crow, I'm sure someone has a screen shot of the marketplace (for pc/console/whatever). But, I haven't looked for it yet. I did check out the steam page to see the changes. That's when I came across the post that stated when they changed the wording on the various marketplaces, shortly before the announcement for the CC. As far as the Season pass physical copy, anyone that bought the first running of the game in a physical format had the flyer/advertisement in the jewel case. Unfortunately, my point is very weak, as it only states "ALL ACCESS GRANTED". That's it. It doesn't say what that gave you access to. You could assume it was to all dlc. But, they didn't have anything listed yet for content.

Hey ox, it’s me Logan from twitter again, if u didn’t see the tweet I sent u last year, this is actually canon because the vault tech logo is on one of the doors near the beginning of the game and because the vault guy figure just exists. So they have a reason to include this.
If it was the armor from the new doom it wouldve been worth it

I don't quite understand the system of Cycle Damage function. The Doom Marine Armor have 400 on each part when it comes to rad res. Doesn't that mean that the total should go up to 2k?
If they're going to continue doing creation club they should make armor and weapon packs, like a Gun Runners Arsenal type thing

Creation Club is getting more and more like watching someone's dad at a teenagers party. They sorta get the general idea, but they're never really going to fit in.
Loved the doom stuff, wish they had made it a quest where you spoke to an NPC first and were given the doom armor that way to then go get the BFG 9000. Hell it could have been a brotherhood or minutemen quest. Anyways, what's next, dragon borne armor or dishonored armor set?
power armor wearing assassin is now my favorite oxymoron. You can be a commando in power armor. Be fast, get shit done, use your jetpack to get out of harmsway, line the shots up in vats. You can be a sniper in Power Armor. Since you don't have any weapon sway and the recoil is reduced. But you can't be an assassin. You don't go clonk thud clonk thud clonk thud when you try to kill a guy from behind.

I agree with the Lore, but i also think if it this way if you really want it, Yu's spacesuit is a cosplay item from a movie played in the Fallout world, since a lot about movies or shows are not shown as much, The BFG 9000 its someones take on a plasma gun but super charged, and the Armor, again other cosplay thing from a movie or TV show
0:55 unfortunately since fallout 4 was originally made to have something like the BFG 9000 in the game it doesn’t have the original like arm case stock deal (I forgot the correct name.) it basically stopped the user from flying away or “Gorifly” slam into a wall.

The Doom Marine armor is the ORIGINAL armor from the ORIGINAL Doom 1,2, and 3!!!!!!!!!!!! Like how can oxhorn don't know about the ORIGINAL Doom Marine armor?!?!?!?!?
He knew he was just shocked on how they adapted the armor in fallout. Its looks out of place and it is an obvious mod. Also Doom 3 had a different armor set it was more modern.
These I basically bought because I had the PS4 version of the game and I wanted to support the CC to get good stuff later. The only one of the four items shown I actually used was the chrome paint. Now I have a PC and PC version. I downloaded the BFG but only because my finger slipped and it was free. . .
