The million dollar question is who put a live bullet in the gun.🤔🤔
That would be AB, the guy had a serious problem with Halyna Hutchins, who had been questioning the safety protocols Baldwin had not been following on set which had caused numerous production people to quit and as we know, nobody questions Baldwin's authority or competence and lives to talk about it!
@@prophetmargin7497
Agreed, the guy is a psychopath. He also abused Kim Basinger while they were married, his been unstable psycho since the late 80s. Let’s just see if justice will be served for once.
@@prophetmargin7497 This Movie Set was quite controversial before the Tragedy. Baldwin is a Bully and tried to make the movie at the lowest costs he could. Which cost a Life, nearly 2.
@@tanyaaldridge9695but how does that translate to being responsible for the armorer not knowing where the live bullets are? Do they count the live bullets? Did Alec say ‘forget that check it’s ok, just give it to me or I’ll destroy you’? And threaten the armorer who replied ‘no Alec, I must check! I don’t want anyone hurt’. Nope- even if he was cheating out, the armorer had one job to do and should have done it. It’s not murder (probably, idk) but it’s definitely negligence on the armorer’s part.
@@prophetmargin7497 Problem with Hutchins and safety protocol? Who wouldn’t see a disaster in the making. I know folks need to make a living but the whole crew should have walked off leaving AB high and dry to figure it out. Self preservation above all else.
Alec acts one way. Alec thinking about Alec. It wasn’t a “you never know how someone will react in an emergency”. He acted the same in the ABC interview. He has no concern for anyone but himself.
I got that impression too. However, I did wonder of he thinks showing remorse is a sign of guilt 🤔
I can’t believe what they let these people get away with in this court every court I’ve been to in New Mexico. You couldn’t chew gum let alone eat in court.
No safety guidelines were followed! Lawyer liar
Exactly!
Baldy is probably insisting his lawyer says certain things.
My condolences to Mrs. Hutchins family and friends for their loss. May her soul R.I.P.
Same. The entire episode should never have happened. The pain they suffer because of it is immeasurable.
@@WindTurbineSyndrome Immeasurable , yes you got that right. People that commit theft ( Madoff ) they live a long time and the good people/innocent get caught in the cross fires it seems. I wished this never happened too.
Why do ANY movies have to have a real gun?? Don't they know about reproductions??? I don't get it!!
@@joycewedel9084 Alec wanted a real gun, not a replica. His call
Right. by now there should be a law against it. With all the special effects etc today theres no reason to.
I don't, either. Using real firearms is way too dangerous. I used to teach hunter ed., and you never point a firearm at anyone. I don't know why making films should be any different. We used dummy guns and treated them like real firearms as well!
He even said on the ABC interview that he’d never point a gun at a person but clearly he did.
I think the crew member that said he pulled the trigger was a witness from the first trial and he was a great witness that had a no bull attitude and was not happy with Alec
This is the best acting I've ever seen from Alec B. Sitting still with his mouth shut must be really painful for him.
Alec’s attitude from day one ☝️ was horrific 🤨 he thought he was the REAL victim ZERO EMPATHY FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN HIMSELF 😒 HE HAS A HISTORY OF BLAMING OTHERS FOR HIS IRRESPONSIBLE 🤬 BEHAVIOR 🎭 🎬
He's stone cold.
What a nightmare. I would not wish that incident on anyone. How can anyone move on from that. So tragic.
@@susanaschubert5121 horrendous and he and family are going to have a reality show
Other actors claim the gun is supposed to go through 3 people to check before it goes to the actor. I think the actors should also do a check. If Alec didn't do it....somewhere down the 3 people check completely failed....1 of them put a real bullet into that gun.
Even if he did check it … he’s not gonna know which is live bullet or which is a dummy. He’s not trained to know what the difference is between live and dummy. That’s another persons job. All he would have done is open it see a loaded gun as he should of… assume it’s dummies cause that’s all that is ever supposed to be on a set and continue on like he did.
@@GavynGageHudsynGentryI'm so glad at least some people in these comment sections have common sense, 100%. How would he know, exactly. He's an actor, they employ armourers for that reason.
@@GreenClassified There are strict rules regarding using guns on film sets one being that you never point the gun at another person and another one being that if the gun is pointed towards the camera you either have a remote operated camera or the person operating the camera is protected with a ballistic shield. also don't forget this "Rehearsal" never required Baldwin to even "fire" the gun.
@@GavynGageHudsynGentry Not true. Actors who handle firearm are trained to recognize them. The armorer is supposed to present the proof right in front of the actor. So the actor knows how to recognize the bullets. Check out interview with Jensen Ackles, for instance.
@@GreenClassified
There have been other people killed on an acting set. Jon Erik Hexum and Brandon Lee just to name 2.
Why did no one get prosecuted / go to trial for those deaths ?
arms crossed in defiance is NOT a good look!
Turn Kim's volume up!!!! She's making some good points!!
Kim's audio is really low and kept going in and out. Which is unfortunate because i like hearing her input.
Yeah its a shame. Couldn't hear her half of the time
If it were a suicide scene, do you think he would’ve checked the weapon.
EXCELLENT POINT!!!!😮😅
I have been wondering the same since his first tv interview 🫣
Yes I watched the same special where this was raised. It’s an interesting question 🙋♂️
Glad to spare 8 hours of my life watching live, well done condensing it to 18 minutes. Thank you for sharing this ❤👵❤🇬🇧
I really don’t understand why Alec falling asleep during the most graphic moments is okay.
He's rehearsing a SNL skit and he's playing Biden
I thought trump. He DID fall asleep in his trial. Just spray Alec orange.
HE DOES NOT GIVE A 💩
@@PumpkinRose1958 He is an actor…and knows exactly what he is doing. Jumping up and leaving court like he did, how do you get away with this behavior?
Dave Halls handed him the gun. That was Hannah's job but they wouldn't let her in because of Covid. This is bs in everyway.
No, Alec had Hannah running around finding props even though she was the Armoror. Cheap bastard should have shut everything down when half the crew walked off that morning due to other accidental discharges of live rounds for fear of safety. Actor or not, he was the man in charge. If he accepted a gun from Halls and not the Armoror that's his own stupid fault.
Officer nervous and he's afraid. Hope other withnesses aren't nervous like this police officer. The officer needs to be behind a desk not on call.
Halls was worried because he did not do his job
No matter what, you NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER point a gun at someone, let alone pull the trigger unless you are defending your life. Being an actor on set is irrelevant. It was a real gun, he pointed it, he pulled the trigger, and oops, what do ya know, it was loaded!! He doesn't get a pass in my book. It's gun safety 101. 😡
I don't think they are required to take gun safety course in the states to handle a gun which is bonkers to me.
Although, it’s not his job to inspect the gun, I still wonder why he pointed the gun & pulled the trigger? However, if someone handed me a glass of water to pass to someone & i didn’t know there was a harmful chemical in it, am I guilty of harming the person I handed the water to?🤔
As many movies as AB has been in and in his role as director he should have been more aware than anybody else of safety protocol I’m not buying it that he didn’t know to never point a gun at anyone and always handle a gun as if it’s loaded. Armorer is not the only one responsible for gun safety. How the hell did a live round end up on the set??
@@justjosie8963 Makes my blood boil that he said I’m just an actor. So that excuses you from having a brain? Well, actors do live in an altered world but at the end of the day they’re mere mortals like the rest of us and accountable for our actions.
How heavy is a loaded gun compared to an unloaded gun?
Can you let Kim talk! Good grief man!
Alex had just as much responsibly as he shot the gun
He would surely check it if it was pointed at him.
Why were live rounds allowed on the movie set?
That's an accident waiting to happen.
I had the live feed going while I napped. I see Alec did too.
With the technology these days why even use real guns? Why can't shots be added in post with CGI??
Saving $.
If he pulled the trigger what was he aiming at????
He pointed it directly at the woman who died
Where is the camera footage that was filmed when Baldwin was acting his part ?
Liar liar pants on 🔥 Alec Baldwin, he’s just a sketchy guy in my book.
I bet there will be alot of baldwin drama body language during the trial.
I wonder if THIS was part of his fantasy
when he said he wondered what it would
be like to kill a person??
Who wonders about something like that??
Never heard of a six shooter firing without the hammer making contact
Them getting producer squashed was brilliant! The producer hires the armor. Baldwin hired Hannah.
Still liable. As an actor he declined Hannah's crossdraw safety training and accepted a loaded gun from someone other than the Armorer.
Other actors like Nicolas Cage said that they always check their guns + he lied and said he didn't pull the trigger. Bs on him being just "an actor". They cut corners on production causing people to walk off the set the day b4. Hannah did not hand him the gun, Dave Halls did & like I said b4, they didn't let her in the church due to COVID. Feels like they threw her under the bus. Also Elena Hutchins was making a documentary about Hollywood, not a favorable one.
😢
🎯 🎯 🎯
So are you saying Alec killed her to keep her from finishing her documentary?
Oh my !!!! everyone is missing the boat!!! Here!!! The key question is how did a live round of amo get into the prop gun!!! Then whether he pulled the trigger or not this would have never happened !! Retired police officer 😳
From my memory, the armorer was using it to go shooting in the desert with friends or crew. This is why I think this is all on the armorer whose job it is to make sure it’s safe. Otherwise, what’s the point of an armorer.
Don't they learn anything from The Crow and Brandon Lee's accident?
Ultimately, Baldwin was executive producer, so he should bear some responsibility, in my opinion.
It turns out, most guns don't just misfire! Who knew?!?!? Tho, it can happen, you probably have a greater chance of being struck by lightening!
WHEN SOMEONE SAY SEPERATE NO TALKING,MR BALDWIN WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND, NO IS NO BALDWIN BIG SHOT ,THE PLACE WAS A MESS,ALEX WHAT DIDN'T YOU SEE
Good morning from South Africa. I always love your reaction to these trials. First witness. You don't even need to be in the police to know to keep witnesses away from each other. I think he was a bit overwhelmed that day.
Plus, he was there...yet was so shocked when told at the police station that she was shot. His career is OVER
At the end of the day Alec Baldwin pointed a gun at someone, cocked the hammer and pulled the trigger. Even if he thought the gun was empty you don’t do that. Gun safety rule 1# you never point a gun at anyone. He is guilty.
But the girl that is in charge of the guns is supposed to check the ammunition… why did they take this gun shooting and then back to the scene 🤦🏻♀️
Alec's lawyer has a very loose relationship with the truth.
Hall deserves at least 18 months...
I know you were accommodating someone in live chat but next time please keep the volume down. When the trial started, I had to keep adjusting my volume because your voices were going to burst an ear drum ❤
You could see the earpiece in Steven Baldwin’s ear what the heck! I’ve been to court in New Mexico and you’re not allowed to have that in court!
He may have some hearing deficit and thus a court would have to provide assistance
It’s a hearing aid. Calm down
He's listening to Guns and Roses
Alec has one as well. Hearing device. This standard in EVERY court. If you ask for one they will provide it to you.
What a liar AB is!! Just take your punishment FFS!!!! RIP Halyna 💕💜
Come clean Alec, there’s only one truth, everything else is lies.
We knew this when it happened.
Love It's Kim, too.
I was trying to watch the live while I was at work and was really hoping to finish when I got home but I guess I took too long. I wish you would leave the full live up a tad longer for those of us who work in the public could have a chance to watch when we get home. I will find another channel to finish today's day of court. I appreciate the cutting down to key moments but I want to watch the whole thing. Not being rude or complaining. Just suggesting maybe you leave the live up longer for those of us not home during the day. Catch you on the next 1 😊
I can't help but be reminded of the tragic death of Brandon Lee on the set of The Crow. As far as I'm concerned, Alec should ALWAYS treat the gun as if it's real and double and TRIPLE check to ensure the safety of himself and others. All actors should, especially considering what happened to Brandon.... And WHO put A LIVE ROUND IN THE GUN?!?
Guest microphone is very low volume while your mic volume is very high.
The video is also a great way to allow the trigger shooting evidence in without fear of leading. Since he publically said he did not and it is unlikely that he did not.
He should have been able to trust the woman who checked the gun. I don't blame him for not double checking an already checked gun. Though I do blame him for a lax attitude to gun safety in general.
As a director he should have checked an already checked gun because the buck stops with him about gun safety.
But did he see it? Anyone would "assume" a trigger is pulled. Isn't the gun old? Why was there an actual live bullet on set?
I don't think this is the footage immediately after. Alec was bent over about puking immediately after.
There were live bullets, because one of the crew (I believe the armorer) was double dipping and using it to go shooting in the desert. Incredibly negligent and not something I think AB knew about.
Didn't staff walk off set before this happened
My opinion, Alec, is known to get angry when things don't go his way. Maybe he and she argued the day before or a week before. We will never know. One thing we know for sure is she is deceased. And her shooter is at trial.
Love Kim's work.
Kim's audio is way to low.
Really really don’t like AB but I don’t think he wanted to kill her right??? I can’t imagine he’s off his rocker and wanted to see someone die?
I don’t think he intended for anyone to be shot and killed. He should have checked the gun but there is a reliance on the armourer and the directors and prop handlers to do their jobs and check before handing the actor the gun. Ultimately as the producer it is his responsibility as he hired these people.
It's already been confirmed that the trigger had to be pulled for the gun to go off. Somehow, Baldwin will get away with this. If this was a suicide scene, you can bet Baldwin would have checked that gun!!
i really don’t get WHY they are on Alex baldwins case … it wasn’t his job to check the gun … that was the girls job… she is supposed to to check it then. and sure it’s safe before handing it to anyone
What are they trying to prove ? Accident? Or Set up? Intent? None of this makes sense.
In NM you can get more time for driving with a suspended drivers licenses, than killing someone is crazy.
I like how the defense is "actors are too dumb to check a gun". The prosecutor needs to bring on a 3rd party witness armorer who can explain what the safety rules are and why each step is important.
He did pull the trigger. He admitted it. Is that even a disputed fact in this trial?
I don't understand why ANY live rounds would even be on or near the set.
Because some crew (I believe the armorer) decided it’d be fun to take the gun out shooting in the desert with live ammo. That’s not a common practice.
Can someone come up with the basic rules of gun safety, from police, a gun range, wherever weapon training is needed? And submit that to the court. When are they going to have actors who deal with guns testify? His mind was somewhere else?????
I really hope now Ackles will be one of the witnesses on stand to talk gun safety and liability on the actor's side!!!!
Thanks guys OGPP
I like him as an actor and feel for everyone involved but there are four people who should be held accountable, the armorer, the armorers supervisor, the 1st AD and the producer, unfortunately he is one of them. The supervisor should have had instilled in their armorers strict safety rules so much that they never didn’t carry them out, the 1st AD runs the entire floor and the producer enforces the safety rules to all heads of departments. It slipped through all of these people and someone lost their life. There are definitely situations in the industry where people get too complacent or things are rushed to the point of risking safety.
It is Alex fault, he is in charge of the whole set including the amours, he was also responsible to check the gun when it was handed to him he also should make sure everyone is doing their job properly , he was the producer
As much as I dislike Baldwin, he should not have been charged for pulling the trigger. What he should have been charged for is criminal negligence for being an executive producer and allowing "prop" guns to be shot in the desert for plinking. Secondly for having two negligent discharges on set prior to Helena being shot and not forcing steps to be taken to address the safety concerns that the movie crew had raised.
He has said several times…
I never aim a gun at anyone…
(Gun safety protocol on set or not…)
Well he did that day.
He also has said early on that he has used guns on set and has always checked them… that’s gun safety protocol. He didn’t that day.
After Brandon Lee’s death on set …. Hollywood drew up very serious gun guidelines…
Baldwin’s father was a teacher of gun safety and use…
The Baldwin boys were raised hunting and shooting guns …
He’s a liar at best.
Oh wait! That’s called acting!
🎭
Did he know they were shooting the guns with live ammo, because I thought he was not aware of that.
But I thought he didn’t know it had real bullets. WHO loaded the gun?
I believe the armorer was double dipping and using it for shooting live rounds in the desert. AB wasn’t aware of this, and this is not common practice and incredibly negligent on the armorer side
The people who were in charge of guns or props etc are to blame smh 🤦♀️
Break it down to its most simple form..
An individual was handed a firearm.
They assumed it was safe.
They did not check it was safe.
Someone died as a result of them handling it.
There is foreseeable death every time you handle a firearm. Hence why any respectable gun owner checks it’s empty/safe to operate in ANY capacity.
They are using the term “Actor” in an attempt to separate him from the word “individual”.
This is involuntary Manslaughter.
You make great content and do very well keeping me hooked on the mic. Your extremely good at your channel. I just sub'd. Keep em coming 💯
Y’all check out Runkle of the Bailey he’s a gun guy. Has insight. And he’s a lawyer
Thanks for covering the trial but please help keep an ear out for Kim's audio it was so low I could barely hear her
Its not Alec's job to check the gun was safe. He had a reasonable expectation it was safe.
🎯❗️
It is very tiresome being in court
What's more damning is that Alex Baldwin gave the impression that he wasn't surprised by the loud bang, while the rest expected a dummy? Did Alex expect a blank, and why, did he want to do a prank and just fire what he thought was a blank? After all, he seemed to be irritated at Helena, did he want to scare her with a blank, and took the wrong amo?
@@JC_dk Somebody said and it was dismissed that he was “rushing”whomever, the armorer? Even in his role as director it’s not ok to let safety slide due to time constraints. We all know that if you’re rushed or rushing to complete a task the outcome is usually shoddy and in this situation sadly fatal.
Who loaded the gun with a live round??
How did the gun get loaded is really the questions.
I hope they bring up the fact that they were all using the guns with live amunition to shoot with on their down time from filming. Alec Baldwin knew he had put live amunition into his gun on more than one occasion .Also its been proven that his gun could not go off on its own , he knowingly fired the gun while pointing it toward people and aware that he had at some point in the day placed live amunition in it. Any normal person would have checked his gun , he failed to do so on 2 counts for his own peace of mind, and it being one of his tasks as director/producer . He should be found guilty the same as the amunition expert Hanna.
So they did see that 😮
Oh my God now anybody who has an accidental discharge or shoot somebody can just say their mind was in another place
I'm only part way through watching this and there's been no acknowledgement of how gorgeous Kim is looking today! That hairstyle and that dress... wow! So pretty... 🤩
He is a narcissistic sort of bloke,. That is the way he came across on an interview last year. It was as if making the film was priority over the death of the woman who he shot. He didn’t seem to have any feelings for her whatsoever.
I saw part of it. I think the lawyer had a good question- Why was Halyna not helicopitered to the hospital immediately, Instead of regular ambulance? The officer said ambulance got there first but idk. It may have made a difference.
We can’t except that future celeb trials, to be as interesting as Johnny Depp’s trial. Not only did we get the truth but also enlightened people on the fact that, men can also be victims of dstic ab.
They need to have some type of gun expert testify to explain how and if this gun could have gone off without pulling the trigger
The fact is Alec never checked the gun before pulling the trigger. He also lied and said he never pulled the trigger. It's common sense that the gun will go off if the trigger is pulled!!!
I feel sorry for him.prop masters are supposed to take care of this with safety managers. Its not his fault
They said that from the first ,he pulled the trigger ,should already be behind bars period
He may have pulled the trigger but he was set up. Now who would want revenge on him?
Interesting take.
And his wife the amazing 100% Spanish woman😂😂😂😂!! Who claimed she's 100% Spanish but can barely speak Spanish and she's not from Spain her parents retired in Spain!! His wife is one piece of work too!! Who lies about what nationality they are??!🤦🏼♀️
Is it SO wrong for an actor/producer to trust their armourist?? Why wasnt he supposed to pull the trigger?
if was an inexperienced actor you may have a point. But he wasn't inexperienced. It's basic practice. Or the industry hasn't learnt anything from Brandon Lee's death from a gunshot on the set of 'The Crow'.
Let's start with a weapon was unnecessary for that moment. Next, there's history of a death onset in the past. Last, YOU NEVER PULL A TRIGGER ON A WEAPON YOU DID NOT CHECK!
