i just finished Funny Story a couple days ago and i LOVED it!!! It took me so long to finish it for some reason (same as you, the beginning was slow for me but i still enjoyed it) but it was so mundane and realistic and beautiful 😭😭😭 which are my favorite types of romance novels. i went through a whole sheet of tabs on that book and it’s one of my favorites by her!!!

I loved Half a Soul! It’s such an underrated book. I actually really loved the Bodyguard. I read it twice last tear, and I almost never reread books.

I feel that I read Funny Story so slow too..still in Chapter 14 😅 Siege and Storm - It was okay but not good enough for a 4 ⭐.
It took me awhile to get into Half a Soul.
Shadow and bone was pretty mid for me, especially the 2nd and 3rd books. Six of crows duology was a 5 star and the King of Scars duology was a 3 star and I hated the ending lol It felt like the middle set of books was written by a completely different person.
