People leaving trash in the outdoors makes me so mad!! Thanks for picking it up. I do the same whenever I go camping or hiking, Unfortunately, there are a ton of uneducated folks everywhere that couldn't care less about nature. They should just stay home if they can't be civilized.
My family and I went to San Gabriel River June 29, I'm still sore lol. We've never been to or done anything outdoorsy/wilderness 😂. 1st time as a family, it was so pretty and we were all mesmerized by how calm, quiet, and so fun it was!! But we were really disappointed with the amount of trash and graffiti on rocks and trees, so sad. Overall, so fun! Also thank you for you very informative and descriptive videos, keep up the excellent work.❤❤❤🎉
What is wrong with people? It takes seconds to place your trash in a bag. If this continues guaranteed the county will deny access because it could very well be a hazardous or dangerous place to visit. All it requires is just one person severely injured or dying and then its over. Save this beautiful and pickup and take your garbage.

My family and I were just there last Wednesday and was amazed by the river but unfortunately what killed it for us was most definitely the trash that was all left behind. It wasn’t even like a few rappers or bottles here and there, NO, there were piles of trash scattered everywhere and it just Made it seem not so beautiful. Pick up after yourself, so simple. If you don’t wanna clean up after yourself then don’t make a mess.

I’ve been here many times, in fact from all the hiking I’ve done over the years on The San Gabriel Mountains I’ve never seen any park ranger anywhere at all!! That’s why is so upsetting that we pay for the National Forest Adventure Pass but we get nothing in return!

It’s water from melting snow and springs from top of the mountains, I’m not an expert but I think it’s clean enough to swim and have a great time!! Very cold though!!🥶

Kind of late to this video, but just wanted to say that it's important to know that most these rock pools are man-made, and actually damaging to the habitat of the fish, amphibians, and bugs that live in the river. Even though many people enjoy swimming in them, if we really care about this place, they should be deconstructed. New pools should also not be built.
