      Thank you! I’ve enjoyed watching your flips as well. I learned the fan switch after watching you

    The nami sounds like it's going to give you room for improvement in your flipping skills. Not that your skills aren't already insane but still gives you a reason to master your craft.

      That’s an interesting point. I think my thoughts on it will also change when I get my replacement hardware for it

    i dont care about price or if it feels premium or cheap, i flipp what i feel on that day and mostly it depends on the weather. if its hot and high humidity i just cant flip a titanium knife, its just to sticky, to much grip.. certain satin finish balis like the kraken too.. on that days i either flipp some beadblasted or g10 knifes like my orion 1.5 or rep... if its cold and dry i pick up titanium or satin finish knifes... g10 is an allrounder, depends on the g10... but if we go back to price... my favourite flipper of all time is the squidy AL.. idk, it just fits my preference so well, its basically all i need.

      I’ve been hearing people say that the squidy al is like insane. Is that something I should pick up? I would probably get the armed shark one since it’s on bushings instead of washers

      @@pez_flips ye, i have the juppi al clone, on bushings too, but i have insane tap, even when i put in undersized bushings and have binding it taps... the AS AL release was right after i got my yuppi 😪

      @@patrick1700 that’s actually crazy lol. Pretty sure the AS is relatively inexpensive. I tried a real one when the squid booth came to Eugene and it felt alright. Sounds very unique

    Ive never felt the nami flips harder. I actually felt fans were harder but everything else was easier. See you felt fans were easy and other things were harder. Just saying all style and preference. I felt the nami heloed me with so many tricks. But namis have such massive varainces even in slight balance differences. Some are slightly handle bias some are neutral. You can flip 10 of them and they all feel a bit different. So something else to account for.
    Also its sub 4oz its not a heaby knife for ti lol it feels quality which may give that feel but every nami is under 3.97oz.

      Wow I never knew that about the nami in terms of its difference from knife to knife. You are right when it’s a light ti, when I mentioned it I was thinking more in respect to the Cygnus but wasn’t really clear about that. I appreciate your insight on the topic

  • @patrick1700
    @patrick1700 Před 6 dny

    lol you think the wzm cygnus is grippy? i have it too, but the aluminium is more slippery than a vulp in a cold dry climate and the g10 is so smooth that it does nothing. i love the cygnus too but i dont flip it that often cuz it just flyes out of my hand... i rly wanna try a real one with actual grip

    • @pez_flips
      @pez_flips  Před 6 dny

      Yeah I live in Oregon so it’s less dry here. I know that you can swap out the scales for authentic ones on the WZM. Maybe using rough sandpaper on the scales would help too. I’m curious what the real one feels like as well

      @pez_flips  Před 7 dny

      @@bigcurt09yeah I plan on it. I will also use locktite on it since the screw keeps backing out
