I also have a KIA SONET HTX diesel variant bought in same showroom and 10k km completed . I had a very bad experience with CBE service centre and old service manager. I had a issue in my car for which they drove 2k km and was not able to address my issue. Even the hotline members from Kia plant came and did not gave any solution. I spent 10k for diesel for their analysis in my car. Finally the new service manager (Yadhav) came and under stood the issue along with the body shop team member and fixed the issue and delivered the vehicle.
Moral - everyone has their fare share of experience until you have a manufacturing issue you never know how the service centre or showroom person reacts . Even during my general service certain issue which was pointed out were not fixed or car not cleaned properly.
Still I strongly recommend SONET because the interior build quality in the car is far fetched from the competitors, HTX is best option to choose because mostly all features are covered. Big boot space, Good comfort on road for long stretch and i am car enthusiast as motowagon Asir says and it’s solid on high speed and even though it is diesel the clutch is butter smooth and most of my friends recognised it as petrol because of its smoothness . If you maintain below 1.5k rpm you would get > 23kmpl in highway (tested multiple times from Cbe to Chennai back and fro)

I’m using Tata nexon xz plus for past one year what he say is right about services ..I also had a bad experience in Tata service centre Mount road but now I’m using Tata service centre gurdev motors Anna Nagar they rectified 1 major problem and 1 minor problem in my car within one day so you have to try all service centres if you own a Tata car to find out the best service ..not all service centres are bad 😊

As a Sonet owner (HTX Diesel), I am align with what Ram said.. This is my first four wheeler and I am full satisfied. I am getting 24+ kmpl in highways (ECR), in city around 15+ kmpl!!

Yes, I do accept that Tata Altroz (both Petrol and Diesel) has higher NVH but is the most stable car, even more stable than the Sonet diesel.
I absolutely hate the judder of Altroz at the lower speeds. Even at small inclines the car really makes heavy judder, made me go WTF. Not even comparable to my 15' Amaze diesel, which is supposed to have poor NVH.

For oil change service, the bill will be around 5 to 6 thousand rupees.
For general checkup service, the bill will be around 3 to 4 thousand rupees. we own a dzire fyi. The bill will be same almost.

I too own a petrol altroz 1.2 three cylinder... It is not even the best when compared with any other 1.2 engines .. mileage of 13 kmpl and pick up is worst.. i will never suggest altroz to anyone... Please do not go for any three cyclinder engine

True! I have been using Tata Tiago for the last 7 months. I'm impressed with my Tiago overall and service is really good at my location. Many people suggested not to go for Tata but I'm surprised with the service so far. No issues so far. New Tata Service centers are good to be honest
Sonnet Diesel engine highway la just 18kmph ah !!!!!!!!!!!!🤔 My TATA punch giving 20 kmpl while maintaining 80 to 100kmph with less than 2500 RPM .... I think user would have changed the service center.. not all TATA service are bad ...
Lesson : After sale service can make you feel bad even the product is good...
I didn't own Altroz but i own a Tiago and a Rapid... I love both my cars equally...

Cruise control is well useful feature brother... I used while long trip I fixed my car at 80-90 which gives tremendous mileage and smooth experience
What was the mileage?
Using cruise control with manual cars is not very convenient since the gear shifting part is still manual work and it will be confusing. On automatics however it's a bliss as the car does all the work..

I have bought nexon at 2018 I have driven my car more than a Lakh still it does not lose the confidence level more compared to creta even I have owned it before I just felt more bad with the car's performance . In nexon I have done more than 160 kmph in yamuna expressways and I am a frequent highway cruiser I have done kaniyakumari to ladakh last year still nothing can't match with its performance . Of course opinions may vary but I have faced issues with the hyundai and the same was not repeated with me in Tata according to me Tata is the best .

Bro pls share a shorts abt not leave the car idle for more than 4 days, especially BS6 models..recently I faced Battery drain issue after left car idle just for 2 weeks, and it causes some malfunction in sensors, so technical team towed my car to service centre for cleaning up the error using computer softwares... It takes a day for me to get in touch with support team and complete the whole process...
Jump car battery start wasn't working if battery totally down, and even we can't push and start the car in recent models, i am not sure whether u have uploaded the video with this scenario if not pls make people aware abt this..

Go for Sonet HTX diesel. You will get more than what you pay for.
If build quality is primary then Nexon. (Doesn't mean sonet is tin can. It is also well built, but less than Nexon)

Sonet offers great features but not safety. But altroz offers the much needed safety. People should prefer safety above everything. I have driven Tiago and I have never faced vibration issue in highways 🛣
