I only know biblical Hebrew, to read it, but I understood everything! What isn't biblical I picked up from the context, like brushing your teeth. Modern and biblical Hebrew are closer than people think

I cannot understand Israel’s love affair with instant coffee! It is everywhere and popular, but in the US it is pretty despised. But it was a great video, and helpful. Thank you!

Have you ever had Elite instant coffee?? I hated instant coffee until I went to Israel. Then I came back to the US and hated it again (mostly because Elite is hard to find here).
@jordanrichards320 I get mine from Amazon. It's about 9 or 10 bucks a can.
You should try an iced Nescafé frappé(shaken, not stirred) with milk, some sweetener and ice cubes in the summer, I am sure you will like it😉 I know Nescafé is a trademark name, but in Greece people just call their iced coffee Nescafé, regardless whether it was made with that company's original instant coffee or not.
Great learning experience for non Hebrew speaker like me. Btw I know 4 INDIAN🇮🇳 LANGUAGES like "Bengali", "Hindi", "Tamil",and "Ancient Sanskrit"(Which is called mother of all Indian languages), ,1 international language English.Love ❤from india🇮🇳 India 🇮🇳 always with Israel 🇮🇱💕🫂💪🤍💙

Ive been trying to learn hebrew on duolingo for a while, but half of the lessons dont have sound, which isnt great for a language with no vowels lol! This video has been very helpful. It makes me feel like a baby, learning just through listening (especially since chalav was one of the only words i knew beforehand lol!) i will certainly be checking out your other videos and will check out beelango when i get a job haha. I'm russian, learning hebrew, and my biggest problem is that usually all spoken too quick for my level (around bet).
Also this is HUGE plus that you clearly showing all these words with your hand gestures etc.

Elsa, you don't pronounce the "h" a lot in Hebrew, right? When you say the article "ha" in Hebrew, I don't here the "h" sound. It's because you grew up speaking french, right? Or it's normal in Hebrew?

Well this is interesting you've said "ve" for "and". Which is also used in Arabic, we're also use the term in Turkish.

Very good decide to do for beginners as well! Is very big blessing that on youtube is many teachers of ivrit and all of them gives their best to do it easy for non speakers of hebrew.
And there is people who has many many difficult situations but they loves ivrit and at the same time has no money to pay for hebrew courses. But have just access to internet ( who knows mybe wi-fi from neighbours or works place etc) and that's what they have : youtube and this teachers for them is perfect they are thankful. Everyone needs money is a real and to do anything requires money. But for same people who have no money to pay off the ivrit study ...videous from youtube become their school!
Then we say : Thanks to Lord bec He put on teacher's heart ideeas of video to teach people who loves ivrit.
That's God's hand bec He want Israel for etenity and Israel will survive and israeli language as well!
It's His work : He is putting love of ivrit in people , He put also love in teachers to make videous and...is works like this!

It's very useful and enjoyable for beginners but could you please make sure thar your subtitles don't cover the words written in Hebrew which are the most important ones and I think should be emphasized more.
