As the summer was coming to an end, I decided to make the 2nd visit to the Midland Railway in Ripley for 2023 for the 2nd TUGS weekend event as part of the exhibition's 10th anniversary. Much like before, it was good to see familiar faces and making new friends as well as seeing many character models up close from TUGS.

That was a great video Dan. Nice to see all the TUGS models including some Thomas ones, and I was a bit surprised to hear the theme tune play again and again 🙂.

1. O.J. was remodelled into Lakesider II for the Thomas episode 'Peter Sam and the Refreshment Lady'.
2. That's no coal - it is a specially made gray coloured face casting as a gift to the exhibition team from some crew members who worked on TUGS.

@@SmurfyDan1991 Well I know the lakesider III thing, but why don't they have O.J's head on it like the star tugs exhibition used to? considering the fact that his head is on a desk at 11:39, it's probably to restore the eye and head mechanism.
also lakesider III was used in other episodes other than Peter Sam and the refreshment lady
and Tbh, the zorran grey face looks like if what happened to big mac in that one episode where he gets covered in coal (I don't know which one it is) happened to him. I really wanna see the eyes move up so I can see the hat move, (it did that because of how high the eyes were)
