Thanks for the review. Just FYI - Jamaicans tend to cook with bone in meat. Adds more flavor. I’ve learned that being married to a Jamaican man and making him food.

So I'll be here for New Year's and I've never been to all inclusive. So at the restaurants I just asked them what I want and I get without paying at that time?? I still can't grasp the concept. It almost seems too good to be true. Thanks!
It’s pretty crazy if you’re not used to it! At the al a carte restaurants that you have to have reservations for they have a set menu where you usually pick one appetizer, main course and desert. The other restaurants where you’ll have breakfast/lunch and most dinners are all buffet style. The Al a carte restaurants also have upgrades like premium steaks or lobster you can pay to add on. But every meal your only expense usually is whatever you decide to leave as a tip. It can be a little hard to get used to just getting up and leaving when you’re finished with your meal
The reasons there are so much bones is because the curry is not chicken it’s actually goat lol 😂 or chevron ( goat meat) to be proper. Glad you loved my island though

Nope it’s all bone in chicken which is normally fine, but when they chop the chicken up it makes it harder to find the bones

A concierge from the Privilege Club called us in advance of the trip to take our room preferences. I would defiantly say try to call in advance of check in to make sure they get your requests.

Just booked this. Did the alcohol actually get you drunk or would u recommend bringing your own? Trs Yucatan didn’t even have me buzzing and i dont even drink. Highly disappointed.
I am generally able to keep a steady buzz at these resorts, but rarely get drunk. I think there’s one particular video from one of our trips to Mexico where I didn’t do so well 🤣
They keep the mini fridge in your room stocked with airplane bottles of liquor so if you need to add a little extra to your drink you can bring those along
whats the weed scene like? is it readily available?
It’s not hard to find. There was a guy rolling and selling joints in the hotel lobby
