Great review and thanks Desy. For casual photography, do you think the Fit Pack 3 shoe storage would work for a camera (say fitted with a 24-70 and a Domke wrap)? Appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks! Yeah you can put a camera there but you would have to make sure there's a lot of padding on the bottom. My suggestion would be to use the Tenba BYOB 10 and put it in the main compartment. It fits. It's not the most efficient way to access your camera though but it works

I bought the Tech Pack 2 and returned it. It felt very bulky after adding some tech in it and The laptop compartment was very had to reach into.

I already had the Wandrd Duo. Great pack, but harness pulls out and only way to keep in place is with sternum strap. So I've been holding out. I'm getting the Aer Duffle Pack 3 when I get back into the office.

The tech pack 2 is kind of over engineered. It seems cool with a lot of compartments here and there but when you load them up, they takes up a lot of space and then the additional materials makes it heavier as well. Overall end up with a heavier bag but with lesser real capacity reminds me of the boundary supply errant, the concept is cool but not practical at all, I have it and I didn’t like it. The fit pack 3 is just nice in this regard that’s why it’s a classic design by AER that has since been copied.
