Now THISSSS is Hoovies Garage. Getting back to his roots. Love it.
I can only read this in Daddy Dougs voice.
I like super cars but balance is always nice.
CAAAARS & BIIIIIIDZ!!!!!!
I agree. I used to watch saabkyle religiously when he just did one take videos at his dads dealer lot - then he became obsessed with generic super cars and I don’t watch him at all anymore.
I agree sir
Hoovie has such a big heart, he is a truly, truly good man. He's so humble and has good values. Good to see that people like him can still succeed in this world
he also donated that big red SUV to the front office worker :)
He was close to the last great generation. His Grandma.
I don’t know if he has the dumbest automotive channel on CZcams, but he certainly has the most wholesome.
I was thinking about this to , it’s like one of those guys you want to see win
@Pomegranate the 🐐 was asking for it
Giving him that car was great. You could see that he really appreciated it. The world would be a better place if everyone was this kind. You have another subscriber.
If Hoovie made a Hooptie Score: "Technology: 3/10, way too much technology"
This would be b i g brain
Value: It breaks down all the time so It gets a 10 out of 10
Why am I reading this aloud in Doug de Muro? CZcams really broke me...
I'm surprised Doug hasn't met this dude yet
I'M gOoNNa GiVE iT A DoUg sCoRe!
Hoovie getting back to his roots. Beige really does run in his veins.
Like Louis c.k. Said about tan cars. You don’t choose tan, you’re given tan.
Now you're dating your self Elliot, or should I say, Ricardo!
Nice to see you spell Elliot in the proper, gentlemanly way Sir Turtle 😖
Elliot G heyyyy now. 2 T’s rounds out the 2 L’s. It’s all about symmetry.
The real question is... Did magic mike actually buy that land Yaht?
A like for hoovie and his act of generosity. In times like this where America can seem rather depressing, the good shines throughout!
Yes great to see whites helping each other. Now that America is owned by israhell
Humans helping humans. Its a good thing....heritage has nothing to do with it. Racism is bad no matter where it comes from.

I definitely enjoyed seeing the Chrysler in front of the Navigator in the last scene. #moviedetails
Hoover, that was a really sweet thing you did for that guy. Decades ago, someone did something like that for me. I was down, hurt, out, and someone "willed" me a car. I didn't care that it was 20+ years old; it ran well, it looked okay, it was dependable and I NEVER FORGOT the generous grace that was bestowed upon me that day. It allowed me to get through the entire year and more. Honestly, my eyes welled up because I know PRECISELY what that man was feeling. It wasn't much to my benefactor, and maybe it wasn't much to you, but it was EVERYTHING to that man and to ME.
What kind of car was it? It could be an antique today. xD
I love these american land yachts, they have such distinctive styling
Didn't even make a clickbait title or thumbnail. You're a good man, Hoovie.
Just what I was thinking.
Hoovie real G.
lol, the original thumbnail said "Make American Land Yachts Again"
“Every Dream is a dream right now” yep that is the 2020 motto
Sad but true
Very true ben, stay safe much love from Scotland
@@simondarrie666 jjjnnñ
I think he said "Any dream is a dream right now." Either way, a feelgood moment.
It really is
That crystler reminds me of my dad, he had one before he died, I can still remember him with his natural light crusin in those pillow top seats
Tyler, thank you for that. I literally cried. We do not get to see kind, generous souls like you too often and that was amazing
Not gonna lie.....his reaction and heartfelt appreciation made me tear up a little. My favorite Hoovie video to date!!!
Yea too bad we didn't get to see his reaction but he was trying to professionally stay out of the shot. Little did he know he was the main focus.
"I'm taking this with me!"
*throws money
This is how you should buy anything.
lol, it was pretty funny, especially with how he threw the money in Hoovie's face and how the Wizard was trying to take it away.
@@weedmastersr Hah, yeah, I'm surprised how much he paid for this car. I had a '96 Roadmaster Limited that I bought for $1,200 and sold for $1,500, barely had anyone interested in it. This was only 4 years ago. I regret selling that car, I really do.
@@DeadReckon did it have 70k miles on it?
@@herbiehusker1889 No, about 140k miles, but it had a rebuilt transmission, and a mountain of paperwork from service records. Honestly double the miles doesn't matter to me in that case considering the service records that came with the car.
Now *that's* a money shot!🥁🥁🥁
I would love to see a classic land yacht revived but in a way Hoovie describes: a Caprice Classic, Roadmaster, Crown Victoria, Diplomat, you name it. RWD, V8, soft touring suspension for ride quality, and a price point that a common person can go buy! I work with police officers daily, and it’s amazing how many still love the Crown Victoria over the Chargers that have taken their place. They like the power of the 5.7 Hemi but that’s about it. Crown Vics rode better, had more room, and had a way lower cost of ownership for the Sheriff’s Department.
I would love to have that 5th Avenue! I had one years ago and it is a very nice and reliable car. 25MPG was easy to do at less than 70.
"you're a young guy and you'd appreciate a land yacht" only hoovie can say that without any hint of irony and make it feel like a compliment
@Cali SocReject Had a 2000 Mirage DE for a few months in college. Never "discovered the backseat" so to speak, but I can see why it would be difficult in that car.
Tell that kid you don't have to have an over the top reaction to be grateful. You could see it in his eyes. Good job, Hoovie.
I hoped “old Hoovie” will come back after the “luxury cars questions”. But didn’t imagine that spectacular comeback. So true words about luxury and comfort.
magic mike: *SHUT UP & TAKE MY MONEY!*
hoovie: uhhh ok...
Hoovie is one of the few, maybe only, CZcamsrs that gives from the heart and not for the likes or publicity stunts. Thank you for displaying your kindness time and time again.
Well he did make a video out of it.
So very genuine and heartwarming and just plain right. How cool is that?!
Best episode ever. Great cars. A great "ending" for Logan, and Magic Mike's "I'm taking it!" moment.
Probably the fastest we've ever seen Hoovie sell a vehicle(s).

That Fifth Avenue is gorgeous 🤩😍🤩😍 that's always been my dream car, and when I found out my dad owned a 80s model back in the early 90s, I loved it even more
I love them so much. I have two lol. A gun metal blue '87 and a bright white '88.
LOL.. that Fifth Avenue has the “casket interior”.
i was thinking the same thing. Inside door pulls taken from a casket.
A free car for a person who has none means the world, you gave someone a way to move. Thank you being who you are ❤️
It was a nice gesture, but I think that it's better to give him a temporary job during this hard time. It was clear that what he needed was a steady income at the moment. Buying him the car and equipments would not help him pay for food, electricity bills, rent, etc. If he doesn't have a steady income, he would ended up selling everything again.
Tyler should hire him to help out with the camera and editing. Logan would get a more steady income for some time and Tyler would have more time to spend with his family. It's a win-win.
@@aabidamn yes that would be nice but we can't judge him for that,at least he did something and having a car can be very helpful
Its been confirmed: Hoovie is an 80 year old trapped in the body of a 30 year old.

Stay strong Logan. I just got re employed and able to lead a dignified life. I wish you good health and happiness. @Hoovie: Thanks for the happy car videos my friend.
Yeah man, I started 1st of september. I am so grateful to have a job. Good luck adapting, Logan and people of the interwebs, that's where it's at.
Mike buying that thing had me f***in in tears. That shit seemed like a hoovie move, and to do it to hoovie was excellent
I was sad when the Buick went bye bye 😕 I’d love to hear a comparison to that old Park Avenue from almost the same year
Buick still exists. You must be thinking of Oldsmobile or Pontiac.
@@golden.lights.twinkle2329 no he sold the Buick Roadmaster in the video
Hoovie is the only auto "journalist"/reviewer/enthusiast with any brains. Mad respect to this awesome guy!
Having a cameraman really elevates these videos. You can show the whole car in one go without having to constantly reposition.
That was so sweet to Logan also! You have such a big heart.

"anything a dream right now ". Like those words
I have an obsession with the Dodge Diplomat. It was my grandparents car when I was a kid and I never really saw them in the light blue they had, so when I saw that car I knew it was them.
Then I got it as my first car and loved it. Eventually I had to get rid of it and have just recently bought another one that mostly works. Just have to find a dang steering box that's not trash.
He needs to be your permanent camera guy
"You're a young man-you like land yachts!" -Tyler "Kids These Days" Hoover
I hate when people who are younger than me say things like that.
"Joey, you ever been in a land yacht before?"
I'm 24 and I'm from Argentina, so those cars never existed here. But I like Crown Vics, Town Cars, etc.. since I was a kid. Watching movies and having some toys. I think they were pretty cool!. I always liked sedans by the way..
I'm 29, and I bought a 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis Wagon for my 23rd birthday. I had an 84 Caprice Sedan (Grandpa's Car) until 2017. (Someone forced Dad into a pole with it, but he's fine since he wore the belt.*) I'm more of a 20th Century American Wagon guy, but I like Land Yachts in general, too.
*The belt was buckled in to the middle, since the driver one was broken.
I really like the Land Yatchs, despite being from Europe, not even Europe, Turkey. A place where 90% of the cars are compacts and subcompacts or city cars. I already own a subcompact diesel 2003 Fiesta and a city car 1999 Ford Ka, these made me a Ford guy, in a different sense compared to Americans. And I still ADORE the land yatchs, i just like the complete opposite side of the spectrum. I'd love to have a plushy comfy big ride from time to time compared to zippy little fun to drive throw around hatchbacks.
Hoovie single-handedly trying to save 2020! You're a great man, Tyler!
That was real nice of you. It's awesome to see acts of kindness like that, even on CZcams. God bless you!

A nice person and a great car dealer, but he gave up on selling... now he just gives hoopties away!!
Ahh. That Fifth Avenue. Truly the past meeting the present: carbureted with an airbag.
The 89 fifth Avenue actually came with throttle body injection system but it failed so often and was so shitty dealerships began offering carburetor swaps.
@@joshuamcpeek4708 And don't forget the alliance between Mitsubishi and Chrysler. I can't remember if it was a New Yorker or Diplomat but it had a turbo 2.2 or something" Total junk. But then again, Ford was so plagued with electrical and quality issues.... Of the three, the Buick, even with GM mass productions trim issues, is better..... Until Ford put out the 4.6. Damn, a generation of cars I wish I could forget. But, my family made a ton of money on this era.... Actually from 72-96 or so.... American cars were junk. I do believe anyone buying anything from this era, that isn't an emissions exempt pickup truck, needs some psychological evaluation and involuntary incarceration, Just say'n.....
@@chuckhaugan4970 i have a 1993 fifth avenue,(the one with the headlight doors) its fairly reliable as far as its engine goes. the interior is very nice looking until you start touching it than it creaks and squeaks and don't even get me started on the rattles and squeaks while driving. it has the 3.8 engine, the same one used in minivans up until 2010. Fun fact: the 1993 Chrysler fifth avenue was the last sedan to have it. The name 3.8 is misleading. Its a fairly large displacement figure for a v6 its very disappointing to know it only has 150hp. Its front wheel drive. The only thing this car truly shines at is snow driving
@@joshuamcpeek4708 LOL! That 3.8 is bullet proof! Do you know why? I'm sure you do, it's a chopped 318 block! It's a push rod motor. I'd trade horsepower/ performance for reliability any day of the week and that's what you get with that motor. Back in the day, our families shop took care of a few bank and municipal fleets. Those van motors would easily go 300-500K mis before blowing up. But, as you describe above the body, and fit/finish wasn't designed to do the same. Fun Fact, in our fleet we have a 99 Ford with the first gen 5.4. That 5.4 has over 560K mi' on it with 1 transmission replacement at 400K or so. I bring this up because Ford then went and redesigned the motor in early 2001, installed it in trucks late 2002, and those motors won't even go 100K without issue. Chrysler always got an engine right and then stopped messing with it. When I was a kid, my first car was a 66 Chrysler product and other than finding a good alternator wouldn't die, no matter how hard I drove it. To me, the top 5 motors ever produced were the Chrysler 225, Ford 4.6, Buick 3.8, Chrysler 440/383, Ford 7.3 Diesel, and Chevrolet 350 (just due to generic and cheep not reliability). I've never owned a rig with the 3.8 Chrysler engine simply because in the late 80's through the early 2000's I drove jap crap and pickup trucks. Today, I just drive my beat up 2000, Ford, 7.3 diesel with over 300K. I can still work on that truck without any special tools or readers. So, that's why. And, I'm retired and frankly, don't give a crap about what people thing about me any more! LOL. One thing getting old allows.
@@chuckhaugan4970 dear lord I'm glad my chrysler didn't come with the mitsu-bitchey 3.0, that motor had a timing belt and the valve seats often weren't properly thermoset (the valve seats are supposed to be refrigerated and once in place they expand and fit firmly) in the 3.0 these seats would dead ass FALL OUT sometimes landing on top of the piston crowns. Almost guaranteed to wreak the motor if your lucky you'll just burn a quart each 1,000 miles!
I drive a 98 Grand Marquis, I love these old boat cars. I remember watching a video of the last crown Victoria ever made rolling off the assembly when I was younger and ever since then I’ve always liked them. I really want an Ltd.
Hoovie is hit the nail on the head. All everyone wants is a performance seden and not a huge boat that is comfortable. Sad to see how the times has changed

OMG SO I WASNìT THE ONLY ONE THINKING THAT! IN CLARKSON'S VOICE, OF COUSE :D
I absolutely lost it when Magic Mike threw the pile of cash at Hoovie 😂
I came to Massachusetts in 1999 for a one and a half year stay. In the first week i bought a used black 85 Mercury Grand Marquis to be my daily driver. I did many road trips, down to Florida, up to Canada and all along the east coast. I so loved the comfort of the Grand Marquis. Never a problem with the car. Being from Europe, it was simply wonderful to experience "american luxury". Seeing the Marquis in this video, brought back so many wonderful memories. And for that, i want to thank you!
That's human kindness like everybody should show. Thank you Hoovie, for showing us the way!!
Since the drivers of the Marquis sometimes confuse the gas for the brake, 150hp is more than enough.
I had a 1989 which I believe had slightly more horsepower than his, and also I prefer the 'updated' interior in the 1989 substantially. I got that car like 13 years ago, it was old lady owned with just over 30k miles, the entire car in mint showroom condition. Unfortunately i didn't own it that long, and it got totaled out by the ins. company after I got into a wreck. That's definitely the most upsetting car loss I've ever experienced, I had a nice stereo in it and everything.
But as for the power, it was actually quite good! The hp numbers pretty low, but it had a lot of torque. I've owned 7 american luxury cars between the years 1984 and 1994. An olds, 2 mercury's, and 4 caddy's, including my current 94 fleetwood. Only one I'm still really missing is a town car.
The insurance rates for these cars is dirt cheap. None of them seem to ever get in an accident. So the drivers are better than honda or toyota or subaru drivers .
I had a 91. Sure, 150hp, but 270 torques and all the way down at 1400 RPM. These cars never needed HP, just torque.
CAYMAN987 or there's less of them... Toyota sells the most cars in the world lol

Cool video! Nice gifting of the Chrysler!
Back when the Roadmaster was new, my boss bought an Impala SS. There was a retired woman that lived across the street from the shop. She bought a Roadmaster and called over to us to come see her new car. She was so proud. My boss about wanted to cry when we opened the hood and saw the same engine as in his 'hot rod'. We broke his balls relentlessly. I miss that guy now. He helped me in many ways.
May have been the same engine but it wasn't tuned the same as the one in the Impala SS.
All super cool. Love full size 4 door sedans. I think of “land yachts” as full size sedans from the late 60’s early 70’s. That Buick is close, but the other two were so down sized from their predecessors. Those did still float like yachts with that Blvd ride. I love my 72 Dodge Polara and 69 Galaxie 500. Both are 4 door and barely fit in some spaces.
Please never change, Tyler. We love you. You're a good person.
