The silo you explored is gnarly!! 😮 It had me on the edge of my seat.
Don't look down!!! 😲
Now that was a video worth watching. Thank you.
Thank you very much! I really appreciate that. 🙌
That is a super cool location! I love how you showed everything in the Air-BNB!
Thanks dude! This was such a a unique Airbnb that we felt like we had to highlight it. I hope you enjoyed the history as well. 🙌😁
Whoa!!! 🤯 This was so cool! Thank you for sharing this with all of us!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
Very cool. This will live longer to tell a great story in history.
I sure hope so!
Nicely done tour. I was the deputy commander on a crew of one of these in Kansas. I found this B&B recently and we are getting ready to head off to NM soon to stay here. Like a homecoming for me and a chance for my wife and show her what I did, where I worked, in my younger days. This one may be unique in that most of them flooded once they were decommissioned and the sump pumps turned off; here the actual missile silo appears to be dry and totally visible, without the missile however.
Thank you for watching the video! I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Having worked in one of these, I'm sure you will appreciate how they have stood up to the test of time. Both of the silos that we visited are dry, something I was also surprised to see. Enjoy your trip and tell everyone we said hello!
Wow! Amazing! I don't think I could do the tour, I'm afraid of heights. lol
The heights definitely made it difficult! 😬
@@TheBrothersWorkshop I bet! Awesome video, it's like nothing I ever saw. Tfs 😀
Haha it's definitely a part of history most people don't know about.
I grew up in Roswell and have been down these silos several times. There are at least 2 on every highway going out of Roswell. Some are more dangerous since they were never completed and you may just find yourself wondering off into a 10 story drop into the abyss. Of course back then (80's) they were all abandoned and in ruin. Some were just a sheer drop into twisted metal and deep water. I don't recall seeing it in the video but that circular control room also had huge springs under the lower level floor that could keep the room level during a blast.
Wow! 😲 That's really cool. It's hard to believe so many of these exist. It's also really cool that you got to explore them as well.
That's crazy. I would never go down there.
It was definitely an experience!
He didn't even take you down to the bottom of the missile compartment... 100 + feet down.
Yes what a "beautiful view" of miles and miles of flat horizon.
It really is! 😄 Thanks for watching.
if i was rich enough i would buy one of those silos and even build a replica of an ICBM. There could be a small elevator inside it
There is an elevator inside of it! Didn't you see it at the beginning of the second half, when we explored the second silo?!
@@TheBrothersWorkshop i saw it but i meant an elevator inside the fake ICBM, lol. and then like a small bridge that connects it to the building
Dude! That's really creative. I like it.
Great now I want a missile Silo. BTW 2 syllables in nuclear.
Who doesn't want one!? Haha two syllables, whose making these rules?! 😂🤣
Thanks for this.
No problem! I'm glad you liked it.
So whats to stop a person from renting it and closing the door and not coming out?
IDK... 😑
@@TheBrothersWorkshop Probably nothing... good luck maintaining your sanity and finding enough food however.
How much does it cost?
It is listed on Airbnb... We linked it in the bio! lol
@@TheBrothersWorkshop You reply to comments so quickly wow!
Imagine if the rusty Missile was still in there that would be cool@@TheBrothersWorkshop
You would have been crazy NOT to do it!!!
Finally some rational thinking! 🙌
Nuclear, not "Nukuler"
That's what I said! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah it’s driving me crazy!
