Debatable. Personally I don't want to risk passing Dallas and potentially playing Vegas in Round 1. I would expect and hope that the Canucks staff feel the same.

I actually think it’s either scenario he will rest guys. If Dallas wins, it’s guaranteed Nashville first round which is good. If Dallas loses, then tocchet will rest guys in hopes Of losing the last game which also will guarantee Nashville. Worst case is Dallas loses and Canucks win. So either case, players will get rested.

It is very important to enter the playoffs as a winner.One game is not likely going to affect the team health as much as a loss of momentum in reaching 16 wins.Playing well as against a good Winnipeg team would give good momentum.Too many days of rest is rust.

It will be best to rest the top players for playoffs, they most likely play game 1 Friday so players can get themselves prepared and rested then come in to the playoffs with no injuries .
