Ivey Business School’s Value Investing Program of 2024 welcomed Francis Chou as a Guest Speaker. Mr. Chou is the President of the Toronto-based Chou Associates Management Inc. Our Guest Speakers are an integral part of our Value Investing education. This education sets out to promote the Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing, value investing and the work we all do at Ivey Business School, particularly, in the Value Investing program.

Wonderful talk from one of the humble great investors; he brags on the fund and value investing principles, not on himself.
It is no small talent to run a profitable insurance company. Buffett had Jack Byrne and now has Ajit Jain. Is Mr. Chou directing the underwriting himself, or who is his Ajit Jain at Stone Trust?

My hero! I remember being in risk management in Calgary in 1987 and during the huge crash the manager comes out of his office and says “someone find out who the hell Francis Chou is!”
