    (Yes, right now it's just me making everything)
    Editor's Note: My edits were all made to keep the video on one, central topic by editing together relevant commentary from many parts of Hasan's streams to create a storyline that is still followable by the viewer. I also edited in commentary of my own in places, in addition to relevant external information that improves the viewing experience. A lot of edits were made for comedy purposes, or to enhance the comedic timing of certain beats, but never to misrepresent Hasan's point of view.
    If you like my edits, leave a Comment, Like, and Subscribe. It helps a lot, thank you :)

    The most dangerous time in an abusive relationship is when you tried to leave. She’d dumped him 10 days before this. That’s why he took her laptop: so she’d be forced to engage with him to get it back; so he’d have power over her. Please keep in mind, leaving isn’t simple.

    23 years, 18 with good behavior, is a slap in the face. Beating an ex-girlfriend to death in a jealous rage, leaving her mangled body clinging to life and immediately going back to flirting with other women over text, is life without the possibility of parole for anyone who's not a Fortunate Son.

      It is in the US, yes, but imho the answer is not to make his sentence more draconian, but to address the insane prison sentences that plague the US. 18 years is a hell of a long time -- long enough to reform someone & prepare them to enter back into society.
      But our country isn't interested in actually reducing crime, it's just interested in revenge for when crimes occur... which is why we have the largest prison population on Earth (both in total numbers & per capita) & why our recidivism rate is so insanely high.

Perhaps rich boy managed to provide just barely plausible enough explanations the previous times that they just started discounting the loud sounds. Perhaps it was an open secret that he was physically abusive and it had happened frequently enough without anything being done to end it that they also didn't think she'd die.

    Completely unrelated but like im pretty sure he was abusing her physically already. No way that was the first or only time. He felt very entitled to do with her as he pleased. That probably explains why she dumped his ass. So many men always say that women just need to leave these relationships. But thats exactly what she did and he fucking killed her. Imagine Sex Ed classes that covered these cases. And showed what boundaries and consent need to be.

      my upstairs neighbors are usually loud, blasting music and shit, but one night i heard a loud smash and then a woman screaming "go fuck yourself", then silence. concerned, i went up a floor and knocked. after audible scurrying around, the door opened. i explained that i was concerned about what i heard and asked what was happening, and then they let me in.
      on their living room table was a giant block of ice shattered into tiny pieces with a tub of jungle juice not far away. ok, that explains the smash. i asked about the woman screaming and they sheepishly told me that was one of the guys' girlfriends that was mad because her fake ID had been snatched. they told her to come out just to prove that she was okay and while she looked upset, i couldn't see any injuries. she assured me that everything was fine.
      feeling embarrassed, i apologized for bothering and left.
      this was on a wednesday. i live in a college apartment. slowly it just becomes part of the atmosphere until you dont even notice.
      we saw this with the ohio killings too - that guy killed people in the apartment while others were literally awake, but they thought it was just the person being killed playing with their dog or something.
      point is it's not always easy to pull the trigger. most of the time, nothing serious is going on. but you also don't want to miss it when it is something serious.

He used to be kind of a dumbass so much so that he literally didn't understand that people were more fragile than him, me, and our sister were, by that I mean we don't bruise easily. Some people need to be taught restraint a lot more than most people

    • @pearline4684
      @pearline4684 Před rokem +3

      This isn’t just about restraint. That amount of anger is not acceptable to have towards someone who broke up with you. This is much lore about his feelings and views on women specifically partners rather than restraint or him not knowing consequences. Him taking the laptop and basically trying to force contact with her and making her dependant on him is the issue. Let’s take your little brother as an example: most he‘ll probably do if he is a normal person and not a misogynistic incel is accidentally hurt someone while not wanting to. The likelihood of that leading to serious injury or worse are extremely low. Now a guy like the one in the video is actively using his strength to establish power over others. Hurting her was not an accident, k*lling her wasn’t an accident, he might not have fully realized that he did it, but he sure knew he was capable of it, in fact he loves having power over others, so he probably also enjoys having above average physical capabilities. Did he want to k*ll her? No. But he enjoyed the thought of knowing he could, and one day he decided to show her directly, but he took it too far, because he has probably abused her before, and since she in his eyes didn’t learn from previous times he had to go further. That‘s why he‘s an abuser.
