The protests have become violent in some places, with people looting, rioting, and setting fire to public property. Otherwise peaceful demonstrators are asking for white people to stop the destruction and not overshadow the reason they're protesting.

Law enforcement in this country have been given too much unchecked power and it's time to start checking it. Not all cops are bad but even if only 2% are corrupt, that's too many. It's obvious that a culture of corruption has been cultivated and nurtured in law enforcement across the country and that's why we see so many "good" cops stand by silently when they see the bad cops involved in corruption and racism. That makes them just as guilty. The norm shouldn't be silence, it should be getting loud and getting the bad cops fired and stopped from being hired at any departments in the future.

MOCHI all my bullies were black, all of the bullying made me scared of them if I see a bunch of black people I’m out. Not all blacks are like this though I have a lot of black friends but its just those bullies that made me scared of them

I applaud the integrity and awareness of those protesters. That honestly makes me proud to see. Eliminate all the negative stereotypes through positive acts... so they know us and not how the other defines us via movies, media, and statistics.

Thank you!! We always get the blame, we are always made to look bad, even when people that are black make us look bad, it is not enough to separate it! Thank you for pointing this out because I have not looted nor rioted at all and all I have done is proactively been an advocate for change. They get to go home to their white picket fence and it is over...
