Give the counterweight guy weapons in that way they can have advantages againts their opponent this greatly makes this racing more dangerous and more thrilling

Rafael Samardzic lad if you don’t assume, I was at Australia 2013, and trust me the year after it was such a let down, also that the cars were so slow and bulky. Now they sound better than they did but it sounds like a freaking tin can loudspeaker, the turbo doesn’t help and the ERS is innovative but it really ruins the sound too.
Wizz Fizz I was in Hungary this year and they sound great, especially honda, of course they are no v8s or v10s but they are great on their own way

Side car racing has been around a while, these are basically superbikes with aerodynamic side cars. It requires two people one driver and one co-driver or how their called “monkeys”. The monkey’s job is to maintain optimum weight distrubition for the side cars and they all have strategically placed handles for them to grab and lean over, when they turn left they all lean left and turning right they all lean right. Its a motorsport that requires absolute teamwork and one fuck up on the Monkey’s part usually leads to instability and cause them to tip and topple over at that speeds. They also ride these at the treacherous Isle of Man TT and there’s even a motocross version of this style of racing

It was a really good race. I was there in the crowd to the left just after the first corner about half way up the climb to the second corner.

How do the times compare to similarly powered bikes?
Depending on circuit and conditions.. within a couple of seconds a lap. Slightly slower top speed and acceleration due to weight. But we can brake later and carry higher corner speeds due too larger more powerful brakes and a lot larger tyre contact patch and grip 👍🏻

Fun fact for those not familiar: Back in the '60s Owen Greenwood took the engine and front end assembly of a Mini Cooper car and built a contraption that met the letter of the definition for a sidecar rig and tore up sidecar racing for a while - with both occupants sitting comfortably in car seats!
