Thanks for checking out this video @Ann71987. We LOVE this. Please keep us updated if you get a chance to visit any of these sites and have any spooky experiences. Do you have any paranormal stories from other places you've camped?

Do you have the most haunted places in Virginia. It is amongst the oldest settlements. A battle ground for the Civil War . Revaluation War of 1812. Virginia has many reported haunted places. A few I have seen.

I've been waiting to see someone mention Scotchtown, Patrick Henry's house. I went a couple years ago and I felt my skin crawl.

I lived in the middle of the woods in Dillwyn VA for 2 years.. you threw a stick in any direction and you were at a significant civil war spot. We had to pass the Appomattox courthouse anytime we went to Lynchburg.
Beautiful place.. I miss the area. One morning about a week before Christmas it snowed about 16” and I’ve still never seen anything as pretty. We didn’t have electricity or toilets.. just a brick turret with a Dutch oven and tents we made ourselves. We did have a well with pumps.. that was cool.
I almost wish I had a ghost or cryptid experience but nope.. only evil I saw was from other people 😢

I’ve never heard of Volusia springs being haunted, but with a it’s history and it technically being in a contested area between Spain and England for centuries, plus being in Orange growing country, it doesn’t surprise me.

Should look into Wayne National Forest. Old 1800s coal company towns and abandoned mines out in the middle of the forest as well as old homestead land from the early 1790s. Interesting area for sure. I metal detect in the area... Not the national forest.

The beautiful, rustic, Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) built circa 1940 Pere Marquette State Park Lodge in Grafton, IL near St. Louis is reputed to be haunted.
It was designed by architect Joseph F. Booten who also designed the Starved Rock State Park Lodge described in this video as well as the White Pine, Blackhawk, and Giant City State Park Lodges all of which are also in Illinois.

I live in Oregon, my Grandparents lived in Silverton Oregon. For decades we visited Sliver Falls Oregon. I walked in the those same areas named in this video and hiked the trails and walked under the Falls and such. NEVER encountered anything of the like mentioned in this Video. I have a HUGE family that lives in the area. They have used this park for decades, I mean for a hundred years or more, NONE of them reported such weird things happening to them either! Furthermore, we are planning our family reunion this year, in June and everyone is meeting at that same park--Silver Falls. WE have no fear of any such things happening there.
I also have encountered Big Foot in the Mt. Hood National Forest--and at a coastal rainforest area too. I have never seen any signs of Big Foot activity, nor sensed such a creature in Silver Falls. Nor has any of my hundreds of relatives. I think THESE stories are made up by very active imaginations since this area has been used for Hollywood films.
I saw the movie that was filmed here. WAS not impressed. Please do not come to Silver Falls looking for paranormal it is not here.

I would like to know if you have the most hunted woods/forests in New Jersey and if you could included them in your future videos.
Thank you for my request and question.
Love the video, it is super interesting and very informative. 👍👍🙌🙌👏👏

Thanks so much for tuning in to the channel @Highheels4ever. We don't have a New Jersey video out at the moment but we are slowly working our way publishing videos for all the states in the US. We love the idea of a haunted woods/forests video. Are there any places in particular you think we should look in to or focus on?

@@FrightNightScares Yes I do: it is the Pine Barrens in New Jersey where there is a legend or folklore that says that a big creature lives there and has horns, a head like a horse, wings like bats, long tail and a body like a man, and it is called “Jersey Devil, which had inhabited the Barrens since 1700. Some people have said that the Jersey Devil appears every 7 years and it has caused many incidents like raiding farms, killing animals, destroying crops, boiling streams and causing treetops off, etc. etc. Some other people believe the Jersey Devil is a version of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.
Other stories say that this creature is the son of Mother Leeds, a woman who lived in Galloway in 1735. This woman had 12 children and when she was pregnant with child # 13, she said “I wish the Devil would take this child away” and when this child was born, it was a horse-like creature with wings who flew up the chimney. Mrs. Leeds didn’t want this thirteenth child, she rejected him.
These are some examples of the New Jersey Pine Barrens about this mysterious creature.
THANK YOU for responding to me, I do appreciate it. And keep up your stories about hunted forests and so forth, they are super interesting. In addition, the narrator’s voice is suited for the work you do: calming, mysterious, genuine, caring, just riveting and I thank you for that.
You do an incredibly excellent job putting everything together in your videos, and it is appreciated. I will tune in for your next video. 👍👍🙌🙌👏👏♥️♥️
PS: Another hunted forest is the one in Japan called Aokigahara Forest where police do not enter, only they do it to retrieve the dead bodies from people who go to this forest to kill themselves. Aokigahara is considered one of the most hunted forest in the world.

@@FrightNightScares I have not , the house was creepy and we kinda joke around about ghosts when we went into the house but nothing happened. It’s a very old house so it makes a lot of noises and it’s hot and smells old but that’s all.
