I honestly never heard that in slow mo, I gotta admit, that feels epic. Imagine a scene where a soldier makes the last winning shot with that, the reverb of the slowed ping just adds to the vibe... idk, I'm daydreaming, I loved it
Did you know the Japanese attempted to clone it near the end of the Pacific War? The prototypes are a very interesting hybrid of Eastern & Western design
Garand spent 17 years at the Springfield Armory designing not just the Rifle but all the machinery needed to mass produce that Rifle. Those self ejecting enbloc clips were better than the stripper clips used in most of European countries at the time and they are less bulky than modern magazines.
The M1 Garand or M1 rifle is a semi-automatic rifle that was the service rifle of the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, M1.
bro. the visuals, the sounds, literally asmr no one displays the aesthetics, the feeling and the performance of a gun better than you guys thank you this is awesome 👏
I will always regret not buying one. My Dad landed on Normandy with one and carried it until the end of WW2. That was when Americans were real men and Nazis where real nervous.
I just found a box of M1 clips on the shelf, i reboxed them & there was 119 of them in there. In the 70s i got ammo at the range in clips for 80 cents ea. Then a sporting goods store had clips for 5 cents ea. Since they don't seem to ever ware out I'm set for life along with my decendents.😊
Forty years ago, the gun I was using in my Japanese military training was an M1. It was a very good gun, very easy to maintain, highly accurate, and easy to handle.
beautiful rifle, beautiful mechanics, beautiful ping. legendary.
Can you put rounds in the rifle without the clip like example an SVT ?
@@theopot5798 nope, the clip is the bullet holder
@@LilTachanka so if you lose or the clip basically the rifle is useless
@@theopot5798 the clip isn't just one the clip acts as a magazine sorta, and plus it's just a piece of stamped sheet metal they're hella cheap

This is very interesting and probably shows that Japan was acutely aware of the excellence of the M1 Garand.
The ping is recognizable even when he just dropped the empty clip on the table, thats how iconic this gun is
