There was no v.s. Corvette. You started catching up because there was traffic on the course.
Maybe you missed the part where I caught up multiple times without there being any special traffic. Also you know... both cars went through the traffic...

@@angelcartagena2375 depends on the drivers too, skill (in the specific car) is one and also if the Corvette guy is really pushing through the corners or is a 7/10 of what the car can do just for a fast cruise?! but remains fun for sure, and again pity it was with so much traffic.
Not sure why people here got their panties in a bunch seeing a Yaris giving the vette some heat. The Vette is very quick in the straights but loses ground at the braking points and bends. Traffic or not, the Vette should have been able to shake off the Yaris but it couldn’t. This was great to watch so let’s all enjoy it

Very great job man! Great driving! For your next videos, it could be possible to keep one type of viewpoint for the entire video? Because here and for few precedent videos, you alternate between views in "picture-in-picture" and your POV in full screen, but I find it frustrating to have cuts between these two ways. ^^

Have you tried fully disabling traction control?
Yeah sure. It doesn't add anything. This way there is a small safety net if something goes terribly wrong

As long as you can hold the brake on turn in, I am not sure if left foot braking helps much 👍

yes when there is traffic you go near the legend corvette. the driver may be good yes but the car still a Toyota Yaris
Both cars go through traffic. First time came quite close on an open track ;) the Toyota is significantly faster under braking and on the turns.

Lol - As much as i like the Yaris the Corvette is at the pinnacle of World Class automotive racing and engineering. It's got the receipts to prove it as well. That said - Toyota deserves props for It's Lmdh LeMans 24 victories. The Yaris is tailored as more of an "all arounder" type vehicle. It can do a lot of things, time attack, auto cross, hillclimb, rally, et al. It's "good" at all those things but it's not great at any one thing. Put a driver of equal skill in either car and the Corvette will pounce on the Yaris all day. The Nurburgring is that type of track where a Corvette was designed and engineered to excel. The Yaris, not so much.
