We had the Yorx version of this back in the 70's
Slightly different and it had a horizontal am/fm tuning display under the clock.
I had forgot all about the external speaker.
I do believe it was used as a Science Fair Electronic 150-in 1 kit experiment gone wrong and ruined LOL
Used to strategically place the hot lamp above my brothers ear as his slept. Great times!

That satellite speaker is an interesting concept. AM sounded pretty good.

I have one my husband got me from an online auction that looks more like it’s from the 60’s. The FM radio works but I can’t get a signal from any AM stations. Also can’t quite figure out yet how to get the clock to work. Don’t see an on/off switch so I would assume the hands would start moving as soon as I plugged it in. I figured out how to set the time thanks to this video since it’s been eons since I’ve had to set the time on an old school clock. But that doesn’t do any good if the hands don’t start doing their time keeping thing. I did also set the alarm successfully and it actually kicked on, so that was cool.
Mine has the schematics on the bottom too, which I never noticed before he pointed it out and mine’s an LCR 510.

713 is Topp Import & Export, Miami, FL, Longines made by Realtone Electronics Co., Chuo-ku, Tokyo and/or Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd., Moriguchi-city, Osaka. This item was sold in 1975 for $25, I can confirm what a poster on your video claims, bad transformer, I see as early as 1977 a complaint in regards to them. Hope that helps some. ~Jack, VEG

Had one of those until the transformer blow up and I found out to be common porblem if use the lamp portion as it uses the transformer to dim the lamp.

That's good information to know. I'll have to be careful.

@@DanOConnorTech if that happens only thing that will work is clock as runs right of 120AC. The transformer was under sized and to my knowledge it was only made for these clocks.
