Not just the attire. We keep traditionsm. Some families traditions, some arab kids grow up with arabian horses. Some arabs like me are farmers and have camels and sheep. Some arabs grow up with falcons and know how to hunt using that. Some arabs grow up by the see and they learn how to dive. We never left our traditions, not by attite or tradition and culture but we still make sure to get our degrees and learn. This is why I know how to type in English and know basic sciences and pursue engineering.
As arabs we always say don't forget who was good to you, from parents to people and to the country that provided free education and health for us. So we mucy learn to give back to this blessed country.

@@mbreeze2203 it has a lot to do with your ability to keep Islam as it is in the Middle East without changing it with foreign religions and cultures.
Unfortunately as an Indian we haven’t been able to keep up our culture because of the invasions and rampant mix of foreign tradition and cultures in my country.
When I visited Dubai, especially the global village gave me an idea of how your culture is still preserved

@@slipknotj2581 In fact, my brother, we Arabs have a popular proverb that says: who has no past has no present or future. That is why we care very much about our heritage and our traditional clothes. We drive the most expensive cars, but until now we raise and love camels, and we can also wear the most expensive international brands, but we wear our traditional clothes like the sheikh in the video.

***** I've lived and worked in the Middle East for several years; I made my money and I left. It is people like myself who made evrything possible from running businesses and corporate planning; to designing buildings and running the economy- the Gulf countries would be nothing without the Asians, Americans and Europeans- keep that in mind.
As for the 'abuse' there is plenty of it especially toward hardworking migrant workers from South Asian countries; don't pretend like you know nothing of it. This isn't a 'reality' and is far from any sense of morality. We are talking about modern Islamic states in the 21st century; what do you think of it? Where are the Islamic values being instilled in the minds of Muslims today? Talk about fairness and respect you people have none of it.

MindEff It may have been more secure during the times of the past regime, but political chaos is to be expected after any revolution. France had 10 years of chaos and bloodshed after their revolution in 1789. The US had a civil war after their independence. India, USSR.....many more examples.
Democracy has a learning curve that can only be learned the hard way.

Taher Assaid u people fucked urself with the urge for democracy in the way manipulated by the west. gaddafi was an autocrat but he bloody took care of his subjects with the oil money. Now, Libya is in mess because the so called democrats were the mere puppets of the west. Libyan people have the right for democracy but it should come in their own terms, and not just forced by Nato bombardments. Once you give the foreigners the right to mess with ur country, they will mess you forever. At least, Assad is smart enough to know this.

@@chitti1120 migrant workers get treated badly by their own people. our government has put rules but organizations don't follow them, so you can't blame the leaders or the government for that. migrants are luring other migrants who are poor with fake job offers and force them to work. that's not the government fault.

For rich places and people to exist, someone needs to suffer first. We have seen this throughout history. Give us a break and do give some good comments where they should be given instead of all that SHIIIIT you write in here. I think he is much much better than many rulers especially from the Eastern countries that gave his own people a better living standard than many others who only cares in promoting their own families to the wealth and has forgotten all about the country people.
He is doing a Unique job and must be appreciated for his work towards his people.. May the Holly Allah bless and rewards him for his doings.
