Thanks! I wish it moved more air, but that's probably about all 1 12 can do in a regular ported box haha. I'm getting really close to having my 2 X12's build done.
@@GuitarHeroGage I really wanted to try a Nightshade because I'm not ready to throw a 92lb Zv5 in my tin foil Honda lol. But I can't afford that right now. How do you like the X12? I've read that it doesn't do well with mids and highs? Also I'm stuck on a box. Do you think 30hz is too low?
@@jordan3204 Mine does kind of fall off after like 50hz, but it handles lows really well. Before I sealed it into the cabin, 45Hz+ didn't exist, but I can hear up to 80hz now, it just doesnt hurt lol. 30Hz is a good tune if you like lows, you can play down to like 23Hz no problem with that tune. Sundowns are for the lows, i really wanted my new box tuned at 28hz but with the space i had i could only get 30hz :/

It's funny I have a 2007 Corolla where the execs car amplifier you have already and I have the big-3 done as well. I build a custom ported 4 cubic feet box for the single 15-inch subwoofer I'm about to order the exact subwoofer you have .lol just happened to stumble across your video today. Can you give me an update is everything still performing well?the only thing I need is an upgraded alternator and a bigger battery Bank I'm still running off the stock battery LOL so drops my current pretty harshly
I have 2 X12's now, the old and new still with stock soft parts, holding up strong! I'm waiting to do an update video in the spring or so, cause it's cold. Ive changed like 3 amps since i got the 2 X12's. I'll post an update video, keep a lookout.

Technically no, but its way easier with both facing forward, but facing towards the trunk can be louder db wise in some cars.

And goin 1x12 two 8 inch mids and two 1inch heavy ass tweeter both by Rockford Fosgate in front doors so when I get the X12 in I’ll at least hear the words of my music instead of being drowned by bass 😂. My question is do u know where I can get a budget friendly battery and alternator? I mean I wish I could by a mechman but I’m hoping something cheaper but put out 300 Amps?
You can hit up Brand X Electrical and see what they have. Honestly i wouldnt cheap out on an alternator, because your car actually needs it lol. Battery wise, not sure honestly, all batteries are kind of expensive. Lithium is where it's at right now. You can get a 15 ah limitless lithium LiFePo battery thats equal to 2-3 car batteries for $499. Otherwise you could just upgrade your front battery to a 100AH XS Power battery.
How well does your Volts stay? I screwed up my last alt because I was running a 1500 amp with no extra battery. I'm planning on buying a skar rp2k
with my RP 2k, it was pretty rare I went under 12.6 and that was with clipping, with my taramps MD8k i haven't went under 12.8 running it 2590w. I have a 100A stock alt, just got my 250a from CES, and my lithium though, going big lol.

@@andrewburton6149 Alt first always, but 1 extra battery should be enough, but if just 1 killed your alt, id definitely get a high outupt alt.
where did you get the box? or did you build it?
I didn't build it, I got it from a guy in Nicholasville KY, but he sells them online under Slambox USA i'm pretty sure. They kinda beefed up pre-fabs, I liked the box though, and it did extremely well. But now that I got 2 X12's i'm going to try and sell it. But there's some holes I need to patch up first.
I have two x12s in my Chevy avalanche I don’t have big 3 upgrade yet but they hit crazy hard I’m running one db drive A7 2500 amp. When I do big 3 upgrade I’m gonna get a more powerful amp to really feed these subs I’m sure I’ll break something lol
You need to get another one of those 2500's and a bigger alt, would be straight killing it.

I have a video with 2 of them on 12k :) It was realistically probably 6-7k RMS, but still way over powered.

It's just an old PC fan, i think it was a 120 or 140mm fan, just rip the connector off and hook up + and - to a remote power source.
@@GuitarHeroGage ... oh ok. Does it keep it cool. Like special in summer I need something to keep my amp cool. I have no ac in my truck. And those big fans for car audio are loud as hell
@@superior3384 It kept it from overheating a few times, you usually want the fan to blow across the top of it through where the fins are for the best airflow.

@@kylereigel3709 Yes it held up alright on a Skar RP2k, i had a 65AH front battery and a 100A stock alt.
The songs I just grab from everywhere, DJBRM, DJ Russticals on Facebook is a good place to get some, most of them have been taken down at this point though.
