Melissa Gilbert, Christopher Plumber and Glen Close came through an airport I was working at different times and were all incredibly unfriendly and rude. (Cruella de Ville) style!

You know who’s NOT a jerk? Adam Sandler! Super nice guy. He came into my husband’s restaurant late and gave all the staff a huge huge tip and was so lovely and kind.

Why does anyone deal with these celebrities then? There are so many other really talented and good celebrities who are humble.
You missed two people who are said to be extremely arrogant by those who’ve met them: Natalie Portman and James Franco. Both think they are better than everyone else and that their time and space is more important than yours. Portman even looks down upon you and act as if you are trash if you don’t agree with her or believe in what she believes in and a lot of people who have met her said the same thing about her. Franco will waste people’s time by not showing up to teach his classes and makes students pay for them even though he never shows up and no cancellation notice was given which is just wrong as the students obviously want to learn things and the teacher is too lazy or arrogant to not even show up half the time.
Have you met natalie in person ? Jlaw can be haughty, bitchy and condescending too.
I can easily believe that about James Franco. He sounds like major scum. But Natalie Portman? Maybe its true, but I just find it so hard to believe. She always seems so sweet in interviews.

The OP is correct. Most Americans don’t think the rest of the world exists and the country has a brutal education system designed to keep the masses fighting each other rather than the elites. I lived and worked in 14 different states over a period of almost 30 years.
