- let's see how Our Jagadhguru entered the Kanchi Mutt, Kanchipuram:
In the first week of February 1907, the Kanchi Kamakoti Math had informed Subramanya Sastrigal that Swaminathan's first cousin (son of his mother's sister) was to be installed as the 67th Peetathipathi. The presiding Acharya was then suffering from smallpox and had the premonition that he might not live long. He had, therefore, administered upadesa to his disciple Lakshminathan before he died. Sastrigal being away in Trichy on duty arranged for the departure of Swaminathan with his mother to Kanchipuram. The boy and his mother started for Kalavai (where Lakshminathan was camping) to console his aunt who, while also being a widow, had just given up her only son to be an ascetic. They traveled by train to Kanchipuram and halted at the Sankara Math. By then, Lakshminathan had fallen ill.
The 67th Acharya also died, after reigning for a brief seven days as the head of the Mutt. Swaminathan was immediately installed as the 68th head of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam on February 13, 1907, the second day of the Tamil month of Masi, Prabhava year. He was given Sanyasa Asramam at the early age of 13 and was named Chandrasekharendra Saraswati. On May 9, 1907 his "Pattabishekam" as the 68th Peetathipathi of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam was performed at the Kumbakonam Math. Devotees including Shivaji Maharaja of Thanjavur, government officials and pundits participated in the event.

Namonamaha 9/6/2021 I saw this episode I feel I am blessed 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.I visited mutt in 2019 and had darshan of H H vijayendra sarawathi mahaswamigal had prasadam in mutt I believe here afterwards mutt will become a great sannidhanam In Kanchipuram with modern but traditional phylosophycal advitha center.i pray h h swamyjy to visit Bangalore and sringery. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is one of 5 Buddhists monestries established by Buddhists monk Adi shankara bhikshu. It still exist even after 1300 yrs. Now Vijayendra bhikshu is the monestry head.

North : Uttaramnaya Shri Jyotish Peetham (atharva Veda-northern Monastery)- Located At Badarinath, Uttarakhand.
South : Dakshinamnaya Sri Sringeri Sarada Peetam (yajurveda-southern Monastery)- Located at Shringeri, Karnataka

Adi shankara had ascended the sarvajna Peetha and had established the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam at the dakshina moolamnya sarvajna Peetha. ( "Sri Shankarabhagavatpadacharyanam paramparagatha moolamnya sarvajna Peetha")around 2500 years in 478 b.c at the age of 27.
After Defeating and killing vedic brahmins like Kumarila bhatta and mandana mishra, Adi shankara bhikshu came to Kanchipuram to establish his madyamika Buddhism. Here in kanchi, he cant kill vedic people because Kaulacharis of Kamakshi temple protected them, So they adopted Kaulachara shri Vidya and mixed Buddhism to form new system and then established themselves. In banned 72 types of vedic system to establish his Buddhism by using rulers influence.
The credibility of the origin of Kanchi mutt is questionable and historical evidence never support the assertion by the Preiyava or the Mutt. It's shame such religious body has been lying to the world deliberately..will Goddess Kamakshi forgive the whole sale sinners.
