I was wishing I had a crafty charity shop nearby too. Out of curiosity, I searched “craft thrift stores” and I found one an hour from me in Baltimore, Maryland! ❤❤❤ I checked it out today, and saw lots of goodies! No purchases because I’m observing Spend No Money May. 😢😂

I’ve been running my xyron stickers back through my fur cutting machine. It has really helped to remove any sticky residue and really flatten my stickers. ❤️

I have made my own variation of this card and am really pleased with the result. I did not have all the right sized dies so made my own elements.
Thanks again, Natalie. I am going to try again in a different colour combination. Have been using your tip about using baking paper over the top when pressing down something that has been glued too. Cheers Barb

I'm jealous--a thrift shop that sells only craft products?!?! What a novel (and fantastic!) idea!!!
Thank you for using the gilding flakes! I have a LOT of them and haven't tried using them but once maybe. I need inspiration and good instructions--both of which you've provided here.
I like how your mixed media pieces have a unifying theme. I see too many examples that just end up looking like a bunch of random things stuck together. This is such a pretty card! Do you sell your cards locally or participate in arts & crafts fairs?

What an exquisite combination of light and airy yet delicately complex. And do you happen to know the name of the Elle’s Studio stamp set? If not, don’t go looking, it’s fine. ETA: I found the stamp set. Love the typewriter font! I have an old refurbished IBM Selectric typewriter and you made me realize I could type a sentiment and shrink it by copying it with my printer. Thank you!
