I'll give this one thing over Tom and Jerry, at least they bothered to make Roquefort's relative look like a different person rather then just slapping a hat on Roquefort's design and calling it a day.
Fun Little Roquefort I'd never seen before. Although another cat v mouse, with a detour, Roquefort has a harassed and harried everman quality about him that separates him from the likes of Jerry or Herman. It's as if the studio wanted to go to the opposite extreme of the super dominant Mighty Mouse and came up with an alter ego Clark Kent (a la Christopher Reeves) type. Come to think of it, possibly, Arnold Stang, the voice of Herman, might have suggested some of Roquefort's character design. I guess while I'm on the subject of superheros, who often do teamups, it would be fun to see a teamup of Katnip and Tom vs Jerry and Herman

Well who is going to sue somebody for making a cartoon about a cat chasing a mouse? Somethings can not (And maybe should not) be trademarked.
