My favorite asps lure is Spinkaster NS with streamer atached on the treble hook. On the slow and medium retrive it goes similar (not the same way) to "walk the dog". Spoons also can be very effective, such as Abu Garcia Toby (75mm/20g) (my favoritr lure generaly speaking).
Also there is very interesting wobblers called "Grbava" made by Dunav Fishing (If you are not to busy I would recommand you to check it on the youtube his videos. Lure have very fine vibrations but it works with very fast retrive very good!)
Thanks to you too mate. In the past I used to fish plenty of spoons to ... but for some reason lately I fish them less and less every year. Perhaps would be a good idea to try them a little bit more.

Grbava is insaine lure, if you have someone in Serbia to get you cira's multimedia lure and grbava that would be awesome, i can swear that it will catch some huge asp

I'm glad that you made a video of this type. Very good explanations for every lure , i learned a lot . I hope you will continue whit other type's of fish as well. I can recommend a lure from a hand made builder here in Bulgaria people are using it alot for asp on the Danube river its from HZL workshop the model is called Asparuh . Cheers.

Very good explanations for those who have the patience to understand. Now that I see what Mar Amigo you are talking about I understood why mine are not working. Too small, too light. Thanks for sharing that knowledge! I hope that all fishermans that are catching asps will release them. It's a great sporting fish, but a poor, untasty dish.

Your top5 lures Im very unfamiliar with. What about the Ryuki and Rigge? From what Ive researched, these two seemed to be by far one of the most popular.

I consider other lures to be great for the asp, but I just did my favorite 5 of them trying to cover the whole year with this selection. Hope that was helpful mate ... cheers 🍻🤘
Hello Emil, try the Fiiish Powertail 44 mm / 12gr. This version is the best for long casts and fast retrieve, and ideal choice in fast current. The one hook design reduces risk of injuries on the fish and you during handling the catch. Worked for me best in late summer, early autumn, once the prey start to gather in large numbers and the asps hunt them in groups. Larger versions, though available, did not work for me, this specific type has the speed to cover lot of water and leave no chance for the fish to read the writing on the bait. Due to the speedy retrieve the hook usually sits in the corner of the mouth. The relatively small size doesn’t influence the size of the catch either, for larger asps you may fish a bit deeper, right under the bait ball.
Hey mate and thanks a lot. I had a friend that used that lure and he caught some asp with it. I have a problem fishing with lures under 7 cm for the asp but I’ll give it a try ... I’ll stop in some local shop and see if I can find it there to try it. Thanks a lot man 🤘🍻

hey mate, and thanks. I have tried the new CD Elite and it works great, but for some reason everytime that I need a new CD I always go for the older model, I just know that lure very well and like to fish it a lot. But you can go for the Elite that casts better and I have friends that caught plenty of asp with them. Cheers man ...

I'm exclusively fishing lures that I made myself 😉 but my favourite is to chase Asp with walk the dog lures - not as effective but the adrenaline compensate the missed hits 🥰💪
Yeah, it’s great to fish and catch with you own lures. Until 5 years ago I was fishing the asp almost exclusively with my own lures too ... then I had a son and currently don’t have time to make them anymore. But in the future this will change for sure. Cheers mate 🍻

Hi i Just watcht your video and you askt for some lures that your subscribers are using
The lures i use a lot in the spring and summer are ofcourse the salmo thrill
But also another lure of salmo:
The slider 5 cm sinking( in a fast retrieve)
The rapala long cast minnow 8 and 10 cm( lc 8 /lc10)
Toeren both shallow runners aprox: 20/30cm diving depth
Topwaters:
Duo realis pencel 65 and 85
Xorus patchinko 85
The rapala countdown elite 85/95
The molix jubar smart 85 suspending
The elite has a slight wobble when you let it sink "killer" lure for the asp
In my opinion one of the best or the best! Lure in verry fast flowing water is the molix jubar i have some 500+hardbaits but there is no lure that that Will run so straight in fast flowing rivers as the Molix

hey mate and thank for the suggestions. I have tried some of the lures that you wrote but obviously not all of them. I agree with you about the Countdown or the countdown elite that I have tried but personaly I don't like the Salmo Slider for the asp ... it's kind of boring to fish with it and for me worked only in certain conditions. but this it's just an opinion ... a personal preference if I could say it like this. I also have tried the Long Cast from Rapala but haven't got good results with it. I will have to try at least one of these two: Duo realis pencil and the Xorus patchinko. And for sure I will try that Molix, I got some good results with a Molix Jubaru Jointed for the zander and some asp with the Molix Piper ... but only small ones because I couldn't reach the big ones.

Nice video, but to be honest I have never caught a single fish on the Thrill, not even a bite, it seems so lackluster when I retrieve it. Am I doing something wrong?? I much rather prefer the 5cm Slider. Also a killer for the Ide/Asp hybrids we have over here. For topwater my go to is the Lurefans Veilmako V9F and Rapala MaxRap Walk n Roll.

I know plenty of people that haven't caught any asp with the Thrill, but if ou ask me that lure it's the perfect lure for the asp when outside it's not cold. they are just crazy for that lure. try to use it more often and give some jerks to it, it's impossible not to catch an asp. Topwater for the asp it's amazing, unfotunately where I fish topwater fishing it's not the best choice, even when it's hot outside. cheers man ...
Hi. I have tried salmo thrill so many times but never suceeded with it. Do you retrieve it against the current or with current on the river? My most successful lure for asps is salmo slick stick - last year brought me over 30 asps that one lure only. Thank you for tips anyway, I am gonna try RH lures, if I manage to buy them DDD

Credo tu abbia provato il Salmo Slider 7 cm.. Quando andavo ad aspi era la mia esca preferita e ne ho presi di belli. Tu cosa ne pensi? Un'altra esca da usare specialmente in acque profonde con corrente e per grossi aspi è il Rapala J13 a cui abboccano però anche molti siluri (colori sgargianti tipo FT o simili)

@@AnEm_Fishing considera che il Fla-Pen nasce per la pesca alla spigola ma ci ho preso anche trote e cavedani...È un esca che si lancia veramente bene e puoi gestirla sia in profondità che a pelo dell'acqua, a seconda di come la recuperi, su internet la troverai sicuramente .85mm per 15gr di peso

Pe cel japonez nu il gasesc, ce alt model asemanator de cicada sau vobler greu fara barbeta, fara bile, recomanzi in sezonul rece pentru adancimi mari? De preferat unul mai popular care sa se gaseasca usor. Foarte util videoclipul, Mersi!
Salutari si multumesc. Din păcate nu am găsit nici o alternativa pentru naluca respectiva. Încă mai am câteva plus ca mai am și ceva Livebait Vibe-uri de la Yo-Zuri (care ar putea fi o alternativa dar sunt imposibil de găsit pentru ca nu se mai produc) ... de aia nici nu am fost prea interesat de a gasi alte năluci asemănătoare. La modul general, încearcă sa arunci un ochi la seriile de apa sarata ... acolo ai șanse sa găsești năluci lipless foarte grele, care pot fi pescuite bine și in ape dulci, la adâncimi mari și curenți puternici. Salutari 🍻

Hey there. I used only the classic Countdown. I had/have friends that caught plenty of fish with the elite version but I personally never used it back then. I found one a few months ago and used it a few times, but never caught any asp ... yet, but to be honest I haven't fished that much for the asp cause we have constant flods here and some of the worse conditions for the asp fishing. I'm sure both of them are OK also for the lakes. cheers man ...

About classic softbaits ... I caught some nice asp with the 10cm King Shad from Relax (some white colors and something with orange and glitter inside) and with some 10cm Shad from Big Bite Baits in completely white color.

Locuiesc in regiunea Modena si am lacurile din Mantova destul de aproape. de regula ma feresc sa ajung pe acolo pentru ca sunt prea populate, prea multi pescari, oameni la plimbare etc etc. chiar am niste amici ce pescuiesc destul de des pe acolo si mai prind cate un avat, salau sau somn. putem eventual sa ne auzim mai incolo, cand se raceste si mai mult vremea pe afara si tot mai putini oameni vor iesi la plimbare pe malul lacului ... si mai putini pescari prezenti ;) ...

what is your experience with lures who have a rattle in them, does asp love them or not?
I have to say that I didn’t had any notable results. I have tried plenty of them but caught only a few asp in certain conditions. I kind of avoid them even though I always have with me a few and try almost every session. Did you had good results with them? Cheers man 🍻
No, the same thing, I have the best results with my handmade silicone lures, something like RH ukleja..cheers

I have tried it ... it didn’t had it. A friend of mine caught some asp with a white one that I also cast it a few times to check it 😉
