about the lightmatica discussion: it just feels really lame when you watch a creator do a timelapse ad you see them build eveything layer by layer. back in the day you saw the walls appear, then the roof, then the decoration and foliage, etc. it felt more like watching someone building someone. a lightmatica timelapse just feels like watching a printer, not like watching a person play a game. i get how it speeds up content creation but it also kinda worsens the viewing experience for me personally
Idk what you on about, but i honestly think timelapses with "litematica" are more satisfying
This. Fwhip and others can justify it all they want for their own worlds, but it ruins the whole survival feel of the world… I would much rather not have weekly videos than have lightmatica. I get if it’s a financial decision but I feel like he’s being deceptive :(
@@gameplaynation4280 I feel like Fwhip is quite transparent about his use of litematica so I don't think he's being deceptive about it. It might ruin the "true survival" feel of a world but when his projects are as large and ambitious as they are it really is a requirement to avoid monthly uploads. Imagine designing something in a creative world and then having to constantly switch in and out of worlds trying to remember what block went where. Overall I can definitely see how some people don't like the viewing experience but I think the compromise of a short timelapse of some "unsatisfying" block placing for more uploads is absolutely worth it!
@@gameplaynation4280 As someone who plays the game a lot, and has Adhd and vision issues, using litematica is a visual aid and a way to organize where everything should go. the way I see it it doesn't ruin the whole feel of survival if used correctly
