- This is an unboxing of a rare Half-Life 2 bubblegum package originating from Ukraine some time in 2004. All of the content used on the packaging is from the leaked beta version of the game. Since it is highly unlikely that Valve licensed a Ukranian confectionery company to produce a line of Half-Life 2-themed gum based on the then leaked beta, this is probably considered a bootleg product.
I won this item in an Ebay auction with the exorbitant winning bid of $2.25 USD. The previous owner never opened it, so capturing this event and revealing its mysterious treasured contents on camera may be a world first.

Even if this is a bootleg, I'm surprised Half-Life 2 Beta merch exists, let alone beta-themed gum.
It's crazy enough to think that Valve would collaborate with some unknown Ukrainian Candy Company "Neptune", and even send them Beta Assets for Cremator sticker and stuff. The existence of such a product is a pretty bizarre phenomenon in itself.
