Well, what is there to say about this fight? It's honestly incredible they managed to pull a final fight for Kiryu after like 7 games for him that is almost if not completely, unanimously loved. Chat was going insane as I was playing it on stream and I was loving every second of it. From the story context that builds upon what 7 did, to the soundtrack, to how the fight itself plays out, this fight blew my mind in every way, and the amount of people I've seen saying this is in their top 3 or 5 is also unreal, but well deserved IMO.

Kiryus first canonical boss fight is a lieutenant and his final boss fight within the old Yakuza world of the Tojo and Omi ends with a lieutenant
"its only a spin off, theres no need to go hard for the final boss"
RGG:
Considering this is likely to be Kiryu's last game where he has the lead, they clearly wanted to send him off with a big bang.
@@jamesnorman9160there's still space for a Yakuza Kiwami 3 though
ishin moment
It's RGG studios, gotta "balls out" even for spin-off.
They'll probably gonna overdo Kiwami 3 even if they're planning for a simple remake
Ichiban *almost passed out after the meeting room fight*
Kiryu, one floor below: *having the most difficult fight of his life*
Imagine Ichiban waking up and go "who broke the Omi sigil?"
Most difficult fight? Naw
Most difficult would still be Mine. Maybe even Aizawa, but Kiryu was dealing with a gunshot wound during that fight.
@@adamali8754"Most difficult" is definitely a major stretch.
Shishido is nowhere near Kiryu's level, he just has tenacity, like the old dogs. That's what caught Majima by surprise.
He's no wuss, but Kiryu was chill the entire fight.
@@imjustlikedenji5954Ya didn't see that kick he landed at Kiryus ribs in that one cutscene? Or when he kicked Kiryu off the balcony, or threw him a whole second story? And for the first time, the final boss is in worse condition than Kiryu.
And as much as I don't like it, Saejima couldn't overpower him earlier on. Shishido was just below Kiryu imo.
The fact this all happened while Ichi was asleep
If ichiban had a 5-hour energy he would’ve seen the best fight of his life.
Then the next day, Arakawa dies and he ends up fighting Kiryu in Geomijul
@@KingShibekiryu's hands healed pretty fast
@@Garland846he drank a few staminan
It’s fitting that after Kiryu fought a representation of what the modern yakuza have become as 6’s final boss, he ends up fighting the antithesis of that, the old-school yakuza who refuses to accept that times are changing and that things can’t stay the same. Kiryu’s words to them give off his perspective of them, especially since Kiryu has no ill intent with Shishido even when he threatened to go after the orphanage kids after he finishes Kiryu off. Probably Shishido’s way of pissing off Kiryu or he’s just lashing out.
Even when Shishido started off the fight after falling from a height, walking all the way to the Omi headquarters, and only had one good hand thanks to Majima’s dagger, he’s definitely one of Kiryu’s toughest opponents. Another fall from the meeting room didn’t stop him either. Whatever happens to Kiryu in Infinite Wealth, glad that he fought yakuza who are complete polar opposites before his presumed final journey.
Honestly, those kids were threatened so many times in Gaiden that the threat no longer has any impact on Kiryu. But like you said, that was probably Shishido lashing out.
You're not just fighting one man here: you're fighting the personification of Kiryu's old life that's dogged him for decades. And now he's finally putting it to rest the best way he knows how.
I like how Kiryu points out the threat toward kids is just mind games to piss him off, like even if Shishido was genuine there is like no reason to go after the kids if he kills kiryu, unlike Iwami Kiryu is gonna put shishido to rest cool headedly
@@jamesnorman9160 I always saw it as him finally taking it on himself to fight against the living embodiment of what destroyed his life and many others. Nishiki, Ryuji, Mine and many more all suffered and even died at the hands of the Yakuza's philosophy. Shishido is the embodiment of rage that every Yakuza held after all of their lifelong work led to nothing, but Kiryu was the embodiment of rage that the Yakuza held from choosing a life that never brought them any good. Both fight to relieve themselves of that legacy and the power it brought on them.
Honestly, Kiryu fighting Shishido in a completely empty Omi Alliance building is incredible atmospheric and symbolic. Once the place of power, now just another empty building. Times changed and the age of the old-school yakuza is over. It's a great send-off not only to Kiryu's story but to the whole series.
Now Kiryu can peacefully die from cancer........wait a second.
He'll never die peacefully after knowing about the YongYea dub
Just let him live his old life with the kids. Cmon... after all he has done, he deserves at least that.
@@miguelmota5980 I'm 99% sure Kiryu survive LAD8, at the worst he would get Solid Snake ending
Wait till you see what becomes of Tojo HQ
Shishido's attack sounds are fucking feral, holy shit.
Like Saejima said, he's like a cornered animal. Lashing out at anyone standing against him. He's literally fighting for the entire world he knows. The ONLY world he knows.
11:18 I don't know what it is about this specific grunt but I just really love it
@@TheExFatal11:27 i really love this scream a little better. He's putting alot of effort into the headbutt
I think the most unique aspect of this fight is how symbolic it is
- From the dynamic intro, showing the resilience of Shishido and the resolve of Kiryu, both taking head on and do not back down a single step
- To the action sequence that Kiryu tackled Shishido, destroyed the Omi Alliance wall and both of them fell below
- Onto the final phase, the camera shot upward with Shishido and the Omi Alliance building logo, showing the purpose of his life which he is fighting for
- And finally, in the last action sequence/quick time event, Kiryu didnt dodge any of Shishido's attacks, he instead used his fist and head to blow back any attempt of offense Shishido dished out, like the way Kiryu said he needed to take these old-school yakuzas head on and give it all he has.u
On your second point, Shishido breaks his katana against that same Omi Alliance crest on the wall. Regardless of what he thinks or how hard he fights, the Omi is finished. His blade breaks because it won't be enough to save his Yakuza world he idolises so much. The entire building is abandoned too: there's literally nothing left to fight for, just a dead kingdom.
Also the first part felt like the first Kuze fight from 0, then when he cut the light to fall on Kiryu it resembled Kiwami 2 and then when they were fighting near the exit of the building it felt like Aizawa fight from 5 and I am pretty sure they did that on purpose because they even resembled in the diaologue at the beginning about the "dream" of the Yakuza, which is what Aizawa was all about in 5.
This was mentioned in the Yakuza 5 long video essay but it really is reminiscent of Aizawa’s fight where Kiryu is slowly pushing Shishido away from the theoretical “throne” of the Omi Alliance, only to end up at the start with the rest of the remaining Omi goons.
Another neat bit of symbolism is at 1:46 where Shishido is framed in a way so that it looks like the Omi Alliance's emblem are wings sprouting out from his back.
The only Kiryu final boss to not be at night time.
The night of the yakuza is over
@ReapCykes Don't forget, Shishido is a proper final boss, since the other final bosses Kiryu fought were Heavies.
I like to think the fight taking place at dusk is represntstive of Shishido trying to take back the Yakuza before they're dissolved once and for all at the eleventh hour
Sun is setting so close 😅
one of if not the best boss in the series. rgg always outdo themselves
But I miss mine
Ryuji >
@@EddyUsagirespectfully, hell naw
Shishido IS the best final boss for me
the insane reuse of content and kiryu taunt at the qte is so funny i thought its the silly mod for a moment
Ironic that Ichiban and his crew fought themselves to exhaustion earlier on...meanwhile Kiryu, Majima, Saejima and Daigo were having a mass brawl against the 'second wave' outside, and then Kiryu goes on to have one of the biggest fights of his life immediately after, through the entire building. But it is interesting to see the whole Yakuza dissolution thing from a different angle.
Jokes aside, this has to be one of the most epic final battles in the entire series. It's essentially a rehash of the fight at the end of Yakuza 5, but with much higher emotional stakes. Shishido is watching the only life he knows getting pulled out from under him, and he's lashing out like a wild animal backed into a corner. He's fighting not only for himself, but for the entire Yakuza ideal: and Kiryu is fighting against the spectre of the old life that's haunted him for decades, and he's finally putting it to rest the best way he knows how to.
But practically everything here in the fight itself is perfect: the dynamic intro, the transitions, the soundtrack, and the symbolism throughout: like Shishido breaking his first katana against the Omi crest, and then being immediatly tackled through it after, showing that the Omi is crumbling to dust whether he he likes it or not. And then the battle ends outside as the sun sets, both on the day and on the Omi Alliance itself. Kiryu stands with his back to the setting sun (the future), while Shishido stands below the Omi crest on the exterior of the building (the past). This can end only one way, but Shishido fights to the end anyway.
Yeah Shishido is basically the better Aizawa tho, and both of them got humbled By Kiryu in the end and not die... at least
Shishido standing beneath the Omi crest juxtaposed to kiryu is one of the hardest things I’ve seen its so damn good bro.
And also the final attack sends Shishido completely out of and off the building, ripping away his grip on that dream entirely in the end.
I absolutely love how everyone in the final battle practically agreed to not use the agent style. They used the dragon style one last time
The dynamic intro is so friggin good
Shishido is currently tied for second place with Ryuji in my own rankings, and he just may surpass him. RGG cooked so fucking hard holy shit
Why does everyone say Ryuji is strongest? Mine fought Kiryu at 100% and had him on his knees after the fight, even if he lost. Mine didn't even have anything to fight for
@chaoticgaming6932 except I didn't? If you read my comment again, I said Shishido was tied for SECOND place (and at this point I think he overtakes Ryuji for me). Mine is first for me, both in terms of overall strength (the only man to push a prime Kiryu to his limits) and the boss fight itself.
@@kartikayysola Yeah
@@chaoticgaming6932Ryuji was probably the strongest due to just his size and strength a lot of reasons Kiryu wins is because he is just much bigger than all his opponents i do like Mine using MMA To fight tho
@@chaoticgaming6932Mine sat atop a hospital while Kiryu fought the CIA and a yakuza family. Mine got so gassed that he passed out and had to lean on Kiryu.
Ryuji got shot in the heart and had to fight the Tojo clan before fighting Kiryu. Kiryu and Ryuji were so close that kiryu and ryuji were only one qte away from death either way.
Shishido Has
-Kuze's tenacity
-Aizawa's dream
-Hayashi's loyaulty
- Ryuji's strength
RGG cooked again🤣
HAYASHI MENTIONED
Balance of an dead chicken
And also Shirakaba's muscular
How bout Mine's Resilience?
Yeah to be Fair Shishido almost had these Previous Villain's Presences tho lol 😂
I like how Ichiban is still sleeping in the room while this is all going down.
I think I understand Shisido feeling not wanting the dissolution of Omi Alliance. He said back then through his own hard work he saved himself. Some can argue that Watase's family the one given him the lifeline. But someone that been abandoned and tortured like Shisido likely have problems to connect to people. He believes because he's strong that's why Watase recruited him into family. He doesn't look for family, but security through power and strength.
He is right that he doesn't own Tsuruno or watase a thing, they didn't pick him out of pity but because they needed that strength on their organization, same as nishitani 3 being pissed that after all his service they decide to have him either killed or incapacitated so he is not there when they fire him. But Shishido doesn't get no one wanted the dissolution or that killing and terrorizing their way through life was never a good way of life because no one taught him better
Kiryu straight up tanking a katana is so fucking cool
I FUCKING LOVE SHISHIDO GRAHHHHHHHHHHH
PEAK BOSS IWAAAAAAAAAA
Mi
Right? He sounds like a f*cking cornered beast, fighting for his life
Let’s not forget that it took them 6 months to make this game and it has one of the best boss battles I’ve ever played in the yakuza series
Shishido is the embodiment of the yakuza system. He's a victim, was abused as a child, and only got out because he was driven to kill. But he is also a violent, dangerous man, threatening children, he hasn't broken the cycle, and it took someone who left it to stop him.
The best Yakuza boss. Direction, soundtrack, plot. One of the few bosses, who really has purpose to fight with Kiryu. And his speech, god damn, it was so good
Shishido is just so cool, and feels like a mashup of (almost) every big climactic boss Kiryu faced up until this point: A tattoo of similar style to Kuze and Kuzes determination, Nishiki and his ambition, Ryuji with the headbutt clash at the end and also a Kansai yakuza, Daigo with the fist clash mirroring the QTE from Yakuza 4, the exausting lenght of Aizawa and how the fight progresses from the place where the chairman sits, all the way to the outside, just like in Yakuza 5. Shishido represents a person not too different from Kiryu and what he could have become, like Mine, and showing that if he needs to win he will take up a sword to fight like Someya. What a wonderful conclusion to the game, and to Kiryu (unless RGG decides they want him to be the main playable character again).
Honestly, i feel like RGG will finally send off Kiryu properly in Infinite Wealth
My thoughts are, there are 2 ways for RGG to send off Kiryu.
1st one, Kiryu stays alive till the end of Infinite Wealth, but will finally retire at the orphanage with his kids, and live the rest of his life left and probably dies there because of old age.
2nd one is a bit more possible, Kiryu dies from cancer, but before that, he might ask for someone (maybe Ichiban or his other friends) to return him to the Morning Glory orphanage before he finally took his last breath and dies on the arms of the people he loves
THOSE ARE JUST MY THOUGHTS, so there's a BIG chance that i might be wrong...
And it's kinda funny that you ignore little baby Iwami and Shibusawa
Finally getting a Assassination of Boddhisatva/Unwavering Belief final boss track in the mainline series and it slapsss
Two dragons was the first actually but this theme goes hard
Shishido is the culmination of all YAKUZA final bosses that kiryu has encountered. He has the treacherous side of Shibusawa, The inferiority complex of Nishiki, Lust for power of Ryuji, Cynical view on life of Mine, the same desperation of holding the yakuza intact that Daigo felled, the dreams of Aizawa and the scumbaggery of Iwami. And the Takechi callbacks with the katanas.
It doesn't end there. Shishido serves as again another dark version of Kiryu but this time completely the opposite of Kiryu. Shishido is Kiryu if he never had nishiki and kazama. Instead of having romanticised views of the Yakuza and choosing this lifestyle like Kiryu. Shishido's views were enforced by the environment he lived in. Kiryu's strength came from determination to do the right thing but also of survival. Shishido came from only of survival.
Another interesting aspect between them. Their names. Both of them has the same names of their tattoos. Ki *RYU* being his dragon. And *SHISHI* do being of his tattoo on the Shishi. Shishi is the symbol of Sucess, Prosperity, Pride and Strength. Things Shishido always wanted. But also Guardianship (As how his final boss is pretty much protecting the Omi alliance).
Unlike Kiryu tattoo which covers his back. (Symbolising how the yakuza life is always part of him but he can leave it behind and move on). Shishido tattoo covers almost on his entire body. Symbolizing how the Yakuza life will be always with him and he can never move on from it.
Both of their fighting stances are very similar. Kiryu has an a open stance. Shishido is closed stanced.
Shishido was a beautifully created character. He is the most "complete" character aside from Kiryu. Ironically. Hope he come backs.
Lieutenant Kuze's tenacity
Ryuji Goda's strength
Aizawa's dream
Mine's strength
The old school yakuza ways
This guy was one of the most honourable bastards Kiryu fought. Respect.
Honorable my ass. He said he would kill his kids and used a katana two times. His cut dynamic intro was trying to poke Kiryu eyes. Nothing to respect about Shishido he is worse as Iwami. It's just that he is cooler than Tsuneo.
@@MasatakaEbina Ryuji used a katana. Nishiki fought Kiryu after he'd fought through onslaughts of thugs, MIA and Jingu. Plus, Shishido said that primarily to provoke Kiryu, as Kiryu himself recognised. What Shishido wanted was to anger Kiryu, to taunt him, it's unlikely that he would've followed through with the threat to his family because there was nothing stopping him from doing so beforehand, yet he didn't. Plus, what would Shishido achieve from killing Kiryu's family after Kiryu was dead?
@@parneetkaur6612 Because he is petty fuck. That's Shishido. He would kill his kids if he wanted to. Considered the fact that Kiryu threatened his life purpose. He might do it to spit on him. He is evil as Iwami even worse. Only difference is that he is attractive and has a cool appearance. So he gets a pass (By the fandom). Same as Nishitani 3. Dude is a literal
creep. But because he is "Cute uwu" he gets a pass.
@@MasatakaEbina dude remember he fought with one fist .
@@MasatakaEbina that was just taunt killing them would achieve nothing even Kiryu noticed he was desperate to have advantages with a enraged Kiryu
It's crazy how at the end of the game, Kiryu is so OP if you invest in all of his upgrades.
The man who erased his name? Nah, it's the man who erases health bars lol
The man who erases Shishido from existence and beats the whole yakuza system😅
One of my favorite final bosses in the series, RGG studio aced this games ending
idk if it was intentional, but they made something to shishido's eyes that made him look completely insane in this part
Ichiban Fighting Tendo was epic. Then LAD Gaiden shows us that Kiryu dealt with the real final boss a few hours before.
That dynamic intro's title card nearly made me nearly faint, it is dope as fuck!
What I love about this fight is the sense that Shishido is very much the underdog and they acknowledge it. With him constantly referencing kiryu as being the Yakuza equivalent of being born with a silver spoon. He’s not a legendary yakuza, head of a family or from a great lineage, he’s a grunt. Now granted, he’s the muscle of his clan, but in some ways it parallels kiryu in yakuza 0, an upstart driven by peerless determination.
His motivation is Crystal clear and he doesn’t do the contrived, oh you beat me in a fight, I see now the error in my ways, let’s now become friends.
I’m wondering if he’ll be involved in IW and will have an important role to play. I don’t feel his story is done.
7 and gaiden are really interesting about how from a yakuza standpoint, the orphan that did 10 years in jail is considered born with a silver spoon, because guys like Ichiban, shishido and even nishitani the third got an even more raw deal
But he and Nishitani III got captured by the Daidoji faction right? Is it the same like going to the prison like another characters? (Kuze and other who never show up again)
@@hydraulicpress439 kinda but you gonna serve them for the rest of the life or just dle they have no other options just like Kiryu agreements with the Daidoji
The theme song in this battle is so wild and op. I love it. 🔥🔥🔥
I could feel the impact of that final punch Kiryu delivers to Shishido. Dude got a one way ticket to the Land Of Yume
Shishido, like Aizawa, is a character I sincerely hope gets revisited again in the future. Everything about both of these characters is just... pure. Whereas every other antagonist had a definitive end to their arcs, both Aizawa and Shishido are characters whose story still could continue in some fashion. Shishido being forced to work for Daidoji, how does he adapt to it? Does he lash out against his leash, or does he start to come to terms that he LIKES the structure and organization of the faction? Is Aizawa also a part of Daidoji, or has he been able to move on to other things-- working with Watase and Daigo in their securities venture?
I hope we see more, and don't just continue to move on to other things. There are other "Gaiden" stories to experience in this universe. I want to see them.
Real i need aizawa the comeback in the future games we didn't even know what happened to him after that fight. He got a potential to be like sawashiro.
And if Andre can survive shit i would love to see Arase too, he's the only nishikayama remnants after all.
This fight....THIS FIGHT WAS PEAK, if only they keep the qtes for the whole battle since mostly of the battle scenes looked like qtes but when the title card dropped at the end of that intro??? Peak at its finest.
11:37 Kiryu locked in so hard he remembered how to do counter hook
Gotta say, the ost fits perfectly on the transitions.

I don't know if any RGG final boss can ever surpass The Mole, but damn did they try their hardest here
The Dragon of Dojima vs the Lion of Omi.
The ultimate reason why they disband the Omi Alliance and Tojo Clan, the most fearsome yakuza in Japan, is for normal, every day hard working people like us
RGG finally out did themselves with this
Shishido has the writing of Mine, the stage presence of Ryuji, and the kickass fight of Aizawa. They finally brought together the holy trinity of yakuza villians
Kiryu's knuckles must be made out of steel from grabbing swinging swords all the time
Soldiers: never use your hands to stop a knife
Joryu: don’t tell me what to do
That dynamic intro shot reminds me of the one against Kuze's second fight in the sewers, but instead of a pipe, Shishido uses a sword...
rgg casually making the best boss in the entire series for a short spin off
Did anyone observe shishido doing mikiri counter during combat
This was actually one of my favourite boss fights in games. Not because of the difficulty but because of the antagonist and everything that happened in between him and Kir... Joryu.
Amazing boss fight, great music, epic feel. Nice work with the couple juggles you got in there. Heat moves work very well in this fight lol.
i like how kiryu block that katana like block pipe from kuze
I hadn’t got this hyped from Kiryu’s bosses since Mine
After this amazing boss fight we need that Shishido spinoff game
6:12 That sync tho
top 3 greatest final boss in my opinion, especially for kiryu
this game is an accomplishment for having me care about a final boss in such a short amount of time looking back
I like how shishido can be seen as a legendary brute like ryuji while also just being another hotheaded thug that smashes stuff whenever the high wears off. Judging by his reason to be the chairman as "i should earn it because im powerful" he was going to lead the omi alliance into another government ran yakuza clusterfuck like RK and the tokyo-omi alliance, where they constantly screw up and do dumb decisions but are only still there because some government official at the top is protecting them.
You say that like Ryuji didn't smash stuff when his high wore off
@@aleg719 ryuji caused a bunch of chaos, but he wasn't ever close to somebody like shishido. he mostly wanted to find the time to fight kiryu but got lead up into a bunch of weird schemes. shishido wants to be the new head of the omi alliance yet figuratively and literally destroys the omi alliance headquarters.
Reminds me of fucking Kanda in Y3. That dumbass literally smashed a billion yen’s worth in Mine’s place while having a fucking tantrum about Kiryu; and he died for it.
Ryuji was levelheaded and intelligent. He just wasn’t deceptive. Ryuji and Kiryu both lead a war throughout Kamurocho.
@@elijahfyffe5176 Ryuji plainly state a man ought to be stupid and leading a gang war through kamurocho is the exact opposite of levelheaded or intelligent.
And the music when both are talking before fighting?? Small game my ass since this shit is peak ❤🎉
I love how shishido's first sowrd broke on the omi insignia (a sign of power) then kiryu destroys crraying shishido into it.
A sign that we moved on from the big families!
6:27 Heh... Kiryu dodged roundhouse kick by charging his blow.
10:12 Majima, Saejima, Daigo, Watase and Tsuruno watch the fight.
They FUCKING did it... the finale of this game... just INCREDIBLE... short but sweet, VERY VERY sweet...
6:58 that kick is really sync with cut scene
I like how you did the entire fight with Yakuza style. It feels like the canon style Kiryu used during majority of this fight.
As for the boss itself, it was really good. I wish they could've added more QTE's like the Aizawa fight but it was still good. Also that music switch at the end.... phenomenal!
Additional comment: INCREDIBLE music sync from 5:20 to 5:40 for the phase transition.
I just finished this on professional today (I played professional from my first time playing this) And best part... I have no healings... Yikes.. It took me almost 2 hours to finally win.
My first Yakuza game, almost beat this one first try on professional. Then I accidentally picked up a bench and I got sliced lol
This is the Yakuza 5 final boss fight, but better.
what does Shishido say at the beginning of the final phase?
The legend ends here
this boss theme is such a Banger
I think shishido really is the *deadly struggle*

Gotta admire how Kiryu improved his martial arts despite being past his prime, when ryuji or someya swing their swords he had to continuously evade here he just parries everything. He could teach Komaki new moves now
He's not past his prime lmao he's not a normal person

"Even though we just met" bro you're literally showing a back tattoo everyone in the yakuza world knows
Best boss fight I have ever played in gaming tbh.......
Hey man off topic but for Yakuza 5, how difficult is it to do the coliseum 100% on hard difficulty?
I have played all the other Yakuza's on hard, so with this game I already locked myself out of the Normal difficulty trophy. I'm at 80% completion, and just discovered that the coliseum is the hardest thing in this game, harder than all others? I'm worried I'll need to replay the whole game again for 100% completion. What do you think? I heard playing as Akiyama is very hard. I can't say I'm the best at these games, but I did platinum all the games so far up until 5. I'm not some skilled fighter, I just enjoy these games like the Arkham games.
If you could shine in on your thoughts I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
"This place is the dream. Without it, we got no chance of survivin'!"
Shishido honestly has a point. Unlike Ichiban or Kiryu, Shishido can't start over from scratch. If the Omi Alliance is gone, it'll put an end to everything he has worked for. Kiryu and Ichiban were one of the lucky few who chose to leave the Yakuza underworld for a better life. But Shishido, doesn't have that luxury of a choice/chance like they do and see the aftermath in Lost Judgment. He lives for the Yakuza life style. But times are changing and the old style of being a yakuza isn't just the same anymore. Either getting "recruited" to the Daidoji agency is going to be his living hell or the next best for him.
"Compared to those who are struggling just to get through their daily lives, the yakuza dream means not a damn thing"
Like Kiryu got a great rebuttal that between people willing to try climbing out of rock bottom and the criminals that needs to dominate people through violence and intimidation the choice is pretty easy, Ichiban and kiryu being lucky is misrepresenting how much trials and hardships they went through, they fought and sacrificed a lot, did their time and learned there aren't old enough to just stay set in a direction. Daigo and watase even talk about setting a security firm so the ex yakuza has somewhere to go
Leave it to you to make these fights better with accidental music syncs
7:28 goes so hard
I did this fight for the first time without heals.
Instead of trying to do combos, I just poked him to death and spammed the low health heat action nuke.
imo, probably the best final boss! he what aizawa should have been!
One of the best boss fights and endings in the series. Was I the only one who thought about MGS 4, Snake vs. Ocelot at the last part of the fight? @9:40
Shishido is what Aizawa could have been if he knew what he was doing there
Do you think this game continue to Lost Judgment, because Like a Dragon Gaiden & Yakuza 7 sets place in 2019, and Lost Judgment sets in 2021
Lost Judgment happens after Gaiden and 7
@@devilleon7Right, because Mikoshiba was murdered
I fully understand Shishido. That's what makes him a great villain. He's makes sense and isn't cartoonish.
Tbh I feel I have the same values in terms of preserving the old (just not crime/yakuza in my case).
It's like making a job in society obsolete and putting millions out of work.
Is it truly the only path?
Sometimes yes, it is the only way. Like, why would you want tyepwriters around, when a PC does the same job but infinitely better? It'd be completely pointless
@@artemis1993 Ironically in Japan, they often kept the old tech and are known for being backwards in that regard on many fronts (still using fax, etc). Yet still in the top 5 world economies. I think for example since the computer, desk jobs have become 90% bullshit. The meme is calling them "email jobs" because that's 90% of your day (or powerpoint or excel). How much value does this add? None. All of it is performative.
I've heard GTA 6 will be released in 2025, and Like a Dragon Gaiden English Audio Version will be released in December, and I saw that rumor in Twitter
They should already cancel the english dub in gaiden and infinite wealth
@@BroGuy-yf5beRockstar will be releasing GTA VI only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, not for PC
SUPER INTENSE FIGHT
8:13 did he just.... Parry a katana???
This was a far more fitting Final Battle for Kiryu completely cleaning the mess of the Tsuneo Iwami one.
8:55 i'm still wondering how effective that guard would be
If i was fighting with a katana and someone did this i would surrender immediatly
My fav final boss
