Ph.D's videos were intentionally quirky. The lead singer, the guy in the video, is Jim Diamond. His voice was phenomenal. His solo songs were even better. He sadly died suddenly in 2015 at the age of 64. He was a wonderful human being, too, I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times.
