This week's video is about my trip to Kamikochi in October. A bit of a throwback video. Kamikochi is definitely a must visit destination in Japan. If you love hiking and nature, Kamikochi is a place to visit, as the hiking trail is not that difficult.

Hello. Not too sure about departing from Toyama, but if I am not wrong, there's a bus from Nagano to Kamikochi.

Hello. Sorry, I am not very sure. I think there's no lockers, but if I am not mistaken there's a luggage storage service at the Kamikochi bus terminal.

Hello!
There's no direct route to Kamikochi from the airport, both in the case of Tokyo and Nagoya. The most direct route would be to travel to Tokyo Station, Shinjuku Station, or Nagoya Station and grab a bus to Kamikochi. But the bus ride will be pretty long.
Or you could travel to Matsumoto Station using the JR Line and then sit the Matsumoto Dentetsu Line to Shin-Shimashima and from there sit an hour long bus ride to Kamikochi.
I would suggest to check out the timings online to decide which is the best way to get to Kamikochi.

@@rieharu hello, may I check how much did the train + bus from matsumoto to Kamikochi cost? Am planning a day trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi.

@@ttanj Hello. The Chuo Line Limited Express train to Matsumoto departs from Shinjuku. From Matsumoto there's a need to take a train to Shinshimashima Station to catch the bus to Kamikochi Bus Terminal. The total cost for transportation is around ¥9,400.
A day trip may be a bit difficult though because the journey to Kamikochi takes around 5 hours.
