In the careers of many bands, they will enter a lull, a period of lackluster output, and that's when their record label will release a "Greatest Hits" album to cash in on their investment before the band implodes.
Band-Maid never had such a time. Even during the dumpster fire of the 2020-2021 lockdowns Band-Maid produced amazing music.
A "Band-Maid's Greatest Hits" album would have to be an eight inch thick boxed set of every CD and DVD they ever made.
I would buy a "Band-Maid's Worst Hits" boxed set. They don't release unlikeable songs. If they do, I haven't yet heard it.
Very true! BAND-MAID puts so much thought and effort into their songs. I agree too, the greatest hits collection would just be every song they ever created lol. I wouldnt mind purchasing it :)
BAND-MAID really is a one in a million type band. Every member is so talented and crucial to the band. No member outshines any member and they all do their part to make sure every member gets their chance to be the center of attention by focusing on certain parts for them in songs or on stage.
We really are fortunate to have such an incredible group of ladies pushing the boundaries of what music is capable of!

I am very excited about the LA show. Ill be going to the San Diego show as well.
I want to try and record some for sure. I will use my cannon M50 for recording outside the venue etc.
I dont know how well my phone will record though. I dont know how some people get such incredible audio with just a phone.
Pretty sure the phone is the only thing we are allowed to bring though, I believe DSLRs and GoPros are banned.

Yeah San Diego is only a 2-3 hours drive for me. I actually wasnt sure if I was going to go but I asked my mom if she wanted to see BAND-MAID (she really enjoys them) and she was very excited so I just said OK, ill take you to that show. (She lives close to San Diego).
I will for sure put some videos up about the shows for sure!
I would actually love to see BAND-MAID in Japan. I plan on visiting Japan end of October/beginning of November. It seems like tourism/travel restrictions are slowly being lifted. :)

I hope COVID does not affect your travel itinerary. Japan is currently in the sixth wave of COVID and has the highest number of infected people to date. Perhaps the infection will peak out later this month and the number of infected people will decrease for some time, but we can predict that the seventh wave will come in a few months.
A trip that should be great will be ruined if your actions are restricted :(

Yeah it should be really fun. She has not been to a concert in a while. She used to go to a lot with my dad.
The last I heard is Japan had eased restrictions a little bit. I figured it will still trending down as it has with a lot of countries.
I have no plane tickets booked at this point but end of October is always a great time to visit Japan. The weather is great and everyone has the halloween treats out! I miss the halloween donuts from MISDO! If covid restrictions remain, then ill probably plan for the next year after that (again). I still have not been to Japan during Sakura season, it looks beautiful but hotels area always booked and it gets very crowded so I keep going in October, haha. one of these times I would love to go in the summer (I am intimidated by the weather though haha). I would love to visit and go to one of the many festivals out there in the summer time :)

This song has lately become one of my favorites. Everyone in the band is exceptionally amazing. But the one that shines the most is Saiki. How she sings the song makes me fall in love with her.
It really is a great song. Everyone absolutely killed it in this one. This is yet another B-side that deserves to be a single.

Gave this song a chance for the first time in 3 years that I know. Band Maid by now and oh god I'm listening on repeat.
I agree with you Saiki is the highlight. She comes in hot with confidence and rides the song smoothly while the instrumental goes crazyyyy
The other crazy thing is that the lyrics were inspired by _The Big Short._ Yep a combined alt- and classic-rock banger inspired by a movie based on a book about the sub-prime mortgage crisis. WTF Kobato?!?!

The LA show sounds like it will be insane, a lot of people traveling for MISAs birthday. I think the San Diego show will be more laid back. It took a while to sell out compared to a lot of the other venues. Not nearly as many people going to SD compared to the LA show.

I used to look forward to your reactions, but now you've gone rewind crazy. Play the song through to the end once... with pauses if you want.... THEN go back and rewind.

Go back and watch your reaction to Forward... that was how you do a good reaction.
Stop apologizing for rewinding... just stop doing it. There's no way you can properly appreciate a song on first listen when you're rewinding it 20 times like that.
I still give all your videos a like, because you pick songs that others aren't reacting to.... but this was a frustrating video to watch, dude.
Hello! I am sorry you feel that way. For me these videos are more like a way to connect with people or have a bit of a conversion.
I am not trying to be the most popular youtuber nor am I pretending to be something I am not. This is a fun hobby for me. I will continue to do what feels best.
Do not get me wrong, I do appreciate the constructive criticism.
As I have been doing this for a bit more time, I am getting more and more comfortable talking on camera, it is only natural that I talk more. I can assure you, I do enjoy the song personally the way I am rewinding. I even go back and listen to the songs in their entirety after I am done filming for the night.

@@DavidMISAMISAMISACook I am just giving my opinion, that's all. A little constructive criticism. If it is the first time listening to a song, you can't really appreciate the brilliance of the composition if you start and stop and rewind so much. Watch a Ryan Mear reaction... he lets the song breathe little... plays for a minute or so, pauses and analyzes, then continues. Adds text to react at times so he doesn't break the flow of the song by stopping it so frequently.
Of course it is shreddawg's channel and he can do what he wants... i was just offering up advice. This was a very frustrating video to watch.
@@Shreddawg it is all good, my man. This was just a tough one to watch with the constant and frequent rewinding. More so than in any of your past videos. It is your channel, do what you want. There are two extremes to reactions that are tough to watch... those that play the whole song through without saying anything (what's the point?) And those that pause after every 3rd note to rewind and talk about the 3 notes they just heard. On most videos, you've hit the happy medium.... this one was WAY too much toward the latter extreme. That's really all i was saying.
