The way Johnson talks about the sneaker industry, the market of sneakers, sneaker stories, and how sneakers bring people together is amazing. He has a great understanding of what it means to be a sneaker head from every view possible. Most people don't truly understand what it means to be into sneakers. People think its just about buying, selling, and trading. But it's way more then that, sneakers bring people together from all different aspects, and it really shows that this is a community way beyond materialistic items. My favorite from his collection has to be the purple lobsters. It’s a pair that I love but that has evaded me. Hopefully one day I can add it to my collection! Size 12!

Being a person who picked up the love for Sneakers during lockdown, the most exciting part of my days were the 7:00 a SNKRS drop. Being that I convinced myself that I fell for a trend, I am now getting back into touch of the intention of sneakers. Seeing a collection like this, it is more than having every color, it was about who can it can reach too, the relationships, and sentiments that sneakers can hold. I loved this video so much, Johnson is an absolute gem for being able to speak upon his collection. Thank you for your time and stories!
I recently purchased my all time grail, Eric Koston Jordan 1 SB Lows in UNC Blue. I was a skater kid in elementary school to high school, and I remember owning tons of Nike 6.0’s, SB dunks, PRODS, and Janoskis. The one shoe I never got into were the Kostons, Which I wish I have had. I remember watching his advert with Kobe, and the Cameo with Kobe in PRODS “Today was a good day” advert. That’s where the worlds of basketball and skating collided for me. So when I first started purchasing Jordan’s I told myself that I would own those Eric Koston Jordan 1 Low SBs just because it was a point in my life were I enjoyed being who I was and it allowed me to get a Koston shoe. All though they aren’t the Kostons, they were the closest thing I can get to what still exists of him. At this point I think the shoe that I would love to own would either be the Jordan 1 Low SB Midnight Navy Kostons! Yuto SB Dunks Size 10, or even the Jarritos SB Dunks Size 10. Just because of the SB LOW touch of sentiment, but also entirely open to what y’all would think would fit into my ownership since you guys got Johnson right on his shoes!
SBs will always have a place in my heart. I grew up skating but never owned a pair of SB dunks because i couldn’t afford them. I love the stories behind the collabs and all the different designs that you don’t see often on regular shoes. I love the VX1000 SB dunks. It’s so unique with all the different details. I still love watching skate and snowboard videos and makes me think of the cameras they would use to make those videos. Size 9!

Johnson’s story of how he got into shoes with his son mirrors mine 2 years ago when my son wanted his first pair of Jordan’s. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s I couldn’t afford any Jordan’s and now loving the sneaker journey it has taken my son and I. It’s awesome to see Johnson pour into the young men at Common Hype and being a great “father” figure in them in a sneaker culture that can take many people sideways. I really loved the Jordan 4 Fear pack due to the color way. I have the Jordan 4 infrareds which the toe box looks similar with the different shades of light greys, but the black mid panel with the splash of white looks phenomenal! I’m a size 10.5.

I started reselling when they came out and i really wanted a pair. I struck out for retail so many times. And i could never justify 300 at the time for a pair of shoes. Now they are worth so much more i wish i had spent the money. Size 11.5

First this collection is just amazing and Johnson is a very humble soul that even as an introvert with anxiety, I honestly feel like I could just talk with him in that room for hours. I also agree that nowadays people think it’s all about price, the genuine passion in the sneaker lane isn’t that. It’s about the meaning and the core memory that’s attached. I remember the very first time I snuck out of high school was to go to the post office to pick up a pair of Jordan flight club 91 in the aqua lagoon color. It wasn’t the most amazing pair but it didn’t matter to me. Later on when I got my shoes I stumbled apon a CZcams video that showed the offwhite unc. It was only showed in the video for a minute and at the time I had never heard of offwhite. When I seen that shoe the future of my sneaker loving passion passed in front of my eyes. I love that shoe, just the color and how it’s a living blueprint just sewn together just had me. I wanted that shoe so much. Hands down my ultimate sneaker art piece is the offwhite jordan 1 unc size 13. I would love to own this shoe, it would be a dream to have it right next to my flight 91s. It would pose as a great story and memory to have something I started(91s) right next to my dream(unc). Watching this video I really felt like I was watching someone who experienced these never forgetting moments, even if it’s to something as simple as a shoe.

My favorite pair was the mummy dunks because of how proud he was to stop you and make sure you talked about the detail and remind you what it is all about! Size 9!!! Johnson has always been a great to y'all and hope he really liked getting his grinches back in hand.

Awesome video! I love every time Johnson features. His collection is a dream I could only hope to one day accomplish. As a young father of two very little boys I am so excited to explore joint interests with them as they continue to grow older. My oldest (4 y/o) I have already turned into a mini sneaker head! He loves looking at my shoes/his and us talking about new ones that are coming out. With as expensive as sneakers are it’s hard to keep us all with a solid rotation but I certainly try my best! My favorite shoes in Johnson’s collection are the Travis Scott SB dunk low’s as they are a grail of mine and probably a shoe I will never be able to obtain. I love how different they are and yet they are able to match so much (I feel like a hype beast picking a Travis Scott but I just have to be honest lol). I also just love all of the kids shoes Johnson is collecting as again, I hope to further increase the interest my two boys have in sneakers. I’d be just as lucky/happy to get a pair for them as myself! They love anything colorful and are a size 7C and 11C.

I dig the relationship / sort of mentorship you guys have with Johnson. He seems like a solid guy, and seems like the energy goes both ways where you guys also have something to bring to the table given the different generations in the culture. It did hurt my soul when you pulled out the stealth 3 and nobody had any idea what they were 😂😂 probably one of the most popular shoes when I was getting into the game! My favorite shoe in his collection are the Nigel 1s. The most classic silhouette breaking into the bmx scene and really honoring a little bit of both cultures! I have always been a Jordan model guy even tho I’m only in highschool . Jordan 6 , 11,13,4,2 and of course the 1 are my favorites. I would rewatch yalls video when reviewing all the off white lots with johnson back in the day and rewatched it again with my girlfriend to show her my love for sneakers. I would always pause and see which colorways were my favorite and used yalls videos for references. My girlfriend got me my first pair of off white lot 03 this past christmas. The next one i would love to hunt down (which johnson also said he liked) is lot 47 in a size 9M. Love the content. keep it up!

First off great video. Recently found the channel as I am just getting into sneakers and it was refreshing to see a man closer to my age (Johnson) who has a passion for sneakers and the relationships he was able to form as well as strengthen in his life through collecting. Its crazy that sneakers can bring so many different generations together. Johnson obviously has a lot of heat in his collection but my personal favorite were probably the Purple Lobsters same size as Johnson (11). Everything from the vibrant purple exterior, to the white and purple plaid interior makes these shoes unique and stand out. Really wish a more affordable version of these were available.
My favorite pair was the og Chicago lows Size 10, I’ve been on the hunt for a pair for a long time! And the Nigel’s are so ice you don’t see them often, you can tell he has a genuine love for shoes I love to see it

Videos with Johnson are some of my favorites! Love how humble and nonchalant he is, with an amazing collection that he could definitely flex. My favorite pair is 100% the Jordan 1 Hyper Royal!!!! I’ve always looked at that pair and been close to pulling the trigger but haven’t due to college expenses. The Hyper Royal is my all time favorite shoe, and what got me back into sneakers as well as me and my mom selling sneakers together. If I was to win I am a size 10.5, but regardless I love the Chanel and y’all inspired me to slightly get into sneaker selling, being the first Chanel I ever watched and binged. I agree with Johnson 100%, those union Jordan 1 Highs are two of the best highs of all time! Love how they deconstructed the iconic jordan 1 high and blended in the bigger wings logo from the ajkos and left the shoe almost unfinished looking with the exposed stitching and patched up looking mixture of materials/textures. The Storm Blue Union AJ1 High is one of my all time grails that Im trying to get into my collection. Size 11!

I’ve always like the color schemes in the lobsters and I worked at a skate shop in the early to mid 2000s and I remember them dropping and just being so impressed with that color scheme! The shade of purple. Idk.. love them. Theotis Beasley wore them recently on a skate part and they kinda blew up again. I wear a size 14. Love the channel! Watching Kobe all my life, he truly became my role model on and off the court. Johnson’s collection is insane, and his stories really open my eyes for what collecting sneakers is all about. I just got into the sneaker game about 6 months ago, and fell in love with the idea of a collection, therefore, it started. I started exploring the world of different silhouettes, and instantly enjoyed browsing Jordan 4s, just like Johnson. My favorite sneaker in Johnson’s collection and of all time for me has to be the Jordan 4 SB ‘Pine Green’. I love SBs and I never found anything wrong with the Jordan 4 pair. Also that shade of green is my favorite color overall i don’t anything wrong with pair. I am a size 11.5 US! Great video btw 👍
Lost and founds have to be my favorite shoe, I know there is so many more, more expensive options, but to me this shoe is just perfect. Brings back the real vintage look from the OG Chicago, Nike made this shoe absolutely perfect. My favorite shoe from the collection is the Jordan 3 Infrared 23. Its the shoe that got me back into sneakers and reignited my love for 3's. Such a good color block and comfortable shoe.
My favorite is the Parra SB, it’s such a good shoe and perfect color combo. It’s cool to see his collection and how it’s about “ the chase” of having them all. The UNC PEs are so sick. I remember unc players getting in so much trouble for selling them the day they got them.
Loved the video, the white parra sb's were my favorite in the collection. You don't see those in people's collection very often so that was cool to see. Everyone has the other parra sb with all the colors. I am a size 13 and would love to have those in my collection.
I love the long segment on SBs. I remember going into black sheep in North Carolina in 2007 and grabbing a pair of dunks. I’m not really into sneakers, but would love to own the Yuto dunks, as they were a shoe that I saw online this year, and gave me that old feeling like I got in 08. I wear a size 8! Loved that I stumbled upon this channel. Keep up the great work!

Been waiting for a video. Collection is crazy we need a collection vid from Brandon and Drew. If I had to pick my favorite over all shoe from the video I would say frag Travis Scott. But that was in his wife collection. From his I would do year of the rabbit in either my size 12 or my fiancée size 9.5. We getting married in May and both love shoes. We have a few matching pair of shoes and the next one would be the rabbits or CP3. Love the videos and passion yall have.

My first job at 15 was at foot locker. My mom had to sign a waiver because of my age. I got the job because she couldn’t afford to pay for the Jordan 4 black cements that I wanted and told me if I wanted those I would have to get a job.
So for that reason my favorite he showed was the Jordan 4 black cement! Size 11 is also my size now. Back then in 1990 it was a 7.5😂.
My first shoes that made me a sneaker head was the Nike air revolution. White and blue. Don’t see those around too much!

The Air Jordan 1 low Voodoos are 1000% my favorite, I love that they give you the rope laces to swap with and the colors they use(the green being really nice and my favorite color). Overall, there are just some really nice details. I would love to get these in a size 11M.

I will always love all of the union la and Nike collabs. I especially love the union la black toes, because the mix of color, and branding just makes a masterpiece of a sneaker. I completely agree with Johnson that those are the two best Jordan 1 highs ever. I would love to have the Jordan 1 high union la black toes as apart if my collection, and I am a size 9.

Love how Johnson has any type of shoe even if it nots a hype shoe. I can relate to that a lot. I always thought you needed the hype shoes in order to fit in the sneaker world but honestly you don’t…I would like to get my hands on that Jordan 1 clay red in size 10.5.….best of luck to everyone. awesome video. love johnson! last year at this time i was in the hospital for 2 weeks recovering from brain tumor surgery and i watched sneaker videos to get me through it non stop! i always loved sneakers but i really found the love again in that time and have grown my collection immensely since then.. a lot of freinds and family actually got me sneakers i wanted for gifts as well. my favorite in his collection would probably have to be the bred 11s. im a huge 11 guy and have most but thats one i havent got yet.
Always love watching the collection videos especially Johnson’s crazy collection. The shoe that caught my eye and is hard to find for a good price is the Travis Scott Phantoms. I am Size 9 and I have always wanted a Travis Scott collab shoe. Great video love the talks about each shoe and the stories about each one!!

The chunky dunks are my favorite because that was the first shoe my friend showed me that got me into shoes. I wasn’t a fan of dunks or really collecting shoes until him. When I got married, on my wedding day, he brought me his pair to show me in person since I only saw them online. He did not give me them 😂 I’d love to have my own pair in memory of that ❤ size 11

Johnson's collection is truly mind-blowing. I'm slowly building my collection from ds to slightly used pairs to sneakers that like. But in his collection, I'm a big fan of the lobster sb dunks. But my favorite pair are the blue lobsters sb dunks.
I love how Johnson always finds pride and tells a story and shows lots of information about each sneaker he has and I wish I would be able to do that with a large sneaker collection that I hopefully own in the future. I just turned 14 and started out my collection with some Jordan 1 mids in the University Blue Black colorway that I bought after working hard for some money. Last year I was looking for a pair of Nike Dunk Low Grey Fogs and I was about to get them but then they got sold out in my size literally when I added them to my cart so I have been looking for them ever since and just loved them ever since they dropped. I am a size US 11 so I hope I can win and further progress my dreams of having large sneaker collection. Thanks, Cam.

I love the content and always watch you guys,love the collection Johnson and the shoe I would pick would be the orange lobsters,the reason is my mom passed away a few months ago and orange was her favorite color so that shoe is a lot more than just a shoe and also the pair I wore to her funeral and passed my other pair on to my brother and would really appreciate another pair in a size 9.5 and even if I don’t get picked I appreciate everything y’all do and the opportunity
Such a killer collection. I love all the stories behind his collection. I’d have to say my favorite pair even though not really shown would be the Travis Scott olives. I have a few pairs of TS shoes but I don’t have that one yet. It’s currently a favorite and a must have for me because of the colors. I spent 9 years in the Army so that olive drab color is near and dear to my heart. Even if I don’t win I plan on getting them one day. They are definitely hard to find in a size 11, but I need them for sure.
I really love Johnson’s story in relation to the Jarritos. That’s why I love sneakers. Having childhood memories and parts of my life being connected through a sneaker is why I fell in love with sneakers! Size 7.5M would be a blessing! His collection is insane. Just too many to pick one favorite
