Twenty years have gone by.
Much has changed but just as much remains the same.
Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to the only place he can ever call home.

I was blown away by Ewen Bremner's preformance in this movie! Such an underrated actor.
Simone Agreed, I always liked Bremner. This whole film was unexpectedly emotional too.
love Spud. T2 was amazing. It was worth the 20 year wait.

Why do I get the feeling that Spud will die
I would say that at this point we can probably pretty much count on at least one of the four dying. I just hope it isn't Renton. I can't bare to see anything bad (or at least THAT bad. I can handle bad situations that have happy endings!) happen to Ewan McGregor (even if it IS technically just to his character)!

It was amazing but the first one was better.
Everyone is saying this is a really well written and clever sequel which doesnt tarnish the original in any way, but I just don't get that from all these clips. It looks like a mixture of a poor nostalgia cash in that might be filled with "Oh, do you remember back 20 yrs ago" type lines OR........... it's lost the dark tone and humour and is now just a feel good movie where people don lycra and get fit.
