    Some of the links here are for amazon. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AMAZON but I can trust the link will still go to a item even if they are out of stock. Other sites like Ebay may be better but links close after listing. But these will give you a good idea of items.

    I love the fact that at the start you put a lot of emphasis on making sure you talk about people who don't do screen accurate aren't wrong, they just took their own route. I feel like a lot of new Ghostbuster cosplayers need to hear that because it helps them become more confident in becoming creative and really opening their imagination to how they'd want their own Ghostbuster to look. Much props to you for that, you're amazing!

    My spouse and I both are part of our local "franchise" for Ghostbusters. This is pretty spot on to how we put our stuff together. We both use Hasbro's PKE Shockers for our PKE Meters. I just took them apart and repainted them (mine is a more screen accurate look, theirs is a custom color scheme they picked out).

    8:23 hey just a quick correction about the belt gizmo, it’s actually a device meant to prevent electric static discharge, not regulate the proton pack (this was stated from Dan himself).
    The ion arm houses the proton pack’s CPU regulation function

    I got my elbow pads off Amazon, they were the perfect color but, had a company name on them.

    Better recipe for yellow hose pipe is apple cider vinegar, yellow food colouring, turmeric and hot water, add in a bucket, soak hose for 24 hours.
    I just eyeballed and guessed amounts, threw it all together to see what happened and the pipe came out a perfect yellow.

    Golden video! This is gonna be a huge help in working on my Phoebe cosplay! I don't suppose you know how similar her version is to the original movie's? In that version of Egon's flight suit she wears, does she still have the hose and things like that? Struggling to find good references so wondered if you had a greater knowledge or arsenal!

    • @Cosplayvicar
      @Cosplayvicar  Před 2 lety

      Your right there is little reference. But I think she has a hose connector but no hose. Several of the toys that have come out like the funko toy show a hose connector and no hose. Hope that helps.

    Is the flight suit Dickies? I know they make other coveralls.

    • @Cosplayvicar
      @Cosplayvicar  Před 2 lety

      Hey. It’s not a Dickies. If you want most screen accurate it would be the Nomex CWU-27/P Flight Suit.

    • @Cosplayvicar
      @Cosplayvicar  Před 2 lety

      That’s a great question. I don’t have any experience with wigs. Using pen hair is always the best option. If it’s not possible I guess I would be finding a good wig.

      I realise that now. I bought mine a few years ago. Checked eBay. Paid £94 for it…. And it was brand new. Looks like they go for £350 basic. This is where the spirit Halloween ones are a win.

    How to put tag the name on flight suit?

    • @Cosplayvicar
      @Cosplayvicar  Před 2 lety +1

      Depends on your suit. Some come with a Velcro strip on so seen people have velcroed theirs name tag on. I prefer to stitch. So mine is sewn on. Iron on tends to peel off

    • @Cosplayvicar
      @Cosplayvicar  Před 2 lety

      You certainly can, and use foam parts. I wanted to use as many of the actual work parts as I could. The Alice LC1 frame was £80 itself. You can’t use a knock off on of those if you using natal parts, they just came apart. Also mine has lights and sounds with trigger buttons.
