No matter how many Atlantic wall features we see it still amazes me the amount of resources they put into its construction . Static defense systems were ineffective as we all know and I'm sure they did to but it still got built.

I totally understand you not showing the location of where you are at on these adventures. The land owner was good enough to allow you to search their property but, if you gave the location away there would be a lot of people trespassing on the property and maybe vandalizing the area. The land owners don’t need that grief. I was surprised to see so many features are still at this location. Probably from the land owner not letting a lot of people on the property. Seeing the barb wire iron post still there and not just a few was nice to see. Was there a door on the bunkers to roll the pac gun out if need. It was nice to see the inside of the pac bunker. The camouflage paint on the wall of the bunker entrance looked to be in really good shape. Seeing Eagle Eyes backing out of the bunker made me wonder, how much grease did you have to cover yourself with to get through that hole lol? You always go above and beyond to bring us such great videos.

Very cool look into the PAK bunker. I can only imagine what it would be like to fire the PAK in that location, the pressure and loudness from the gun would be immense. I wonder if the pipe next to the gun placement may have been a shout pipe, for communication with the ammunition stores. That way they would know how much and what kind of ammunition to send. It was even interesting to see the paint work on the walls. Thanks for going in there.

One thing that always bewildered me. After WWI the German military rebuilt itself for fast mobile warfare capable of overcoming or going around any of the permanent fortified structures it encountered. Why would they expel so much resources on so many structures knowing from their own experience, and history the besieging force usually wins.

The Germans certainly built their structures to last. Read about the Berlin WW2 flak-towers a while ago and the reason several of them are still standing is that they proved too costly and too hard to demolish after the war. The British had to use several tonnes of explosives to demolish one of them. If I remember correctly, one of the towers is a hotel now.

Either some one that died there or some one that came back to a place they liked after a long lfe .Ever think of getting some of the geister jager you tubers to join you ? They have videos of investagations of old DDR kraknenhauses and kinderheims ect. I am sure they would have fun with the Alantic wall places . As my German is limited I can only get part of it . Also another you tuber Marlene of Marlenesliben , I have tried to tell her if she made a few videos in English (or Eng-Deu) that she would get a lot more viewers . She might listen to some one that had another you tube chanel in English .

Had to be pretty noisy in that bunker when firing the gun.

You should do a video with a veteran of a location he spent time at!

Interesting video, thanks. I love seeing these places that are untouched by the graffiti youth, so you can the details, like the camo paint.
Thanks for the diorama BTW, it's great and very much appreciated

Sometimes I wish I could fix up one of the bunkers and live in it. I think it would be cool to live in a piece of history.

So interesting that a lot of places are still under the ground, buried. Think of archaeologists in the future!!😳

it is a pity that it was covered. it would be very interesting to see what was inside and it is a shame that the farmers block them off.
