Was pleasantly surprised that KQ flight from mombasa yesterday was 9.50 am. At 9.34 we started moving to the runway. We got to the runway, waited for another KQ flight to land. At 9 49 we got to the runway. Exactly at 9.50 am, BOOM! we were airborne. Precision at its best. Wueeeh!
Please congratulate the crew and KQ in general.

Brilliant Man. I am so proud of Mr Allan Kilavuka. Kenya Airways needs a strategic Partner, and that person can only be “The Republic of Kenya” We need a Special Sovereign Bond for KQ to remove its debt burden and help it expand. KQ cannot expand without Greenfield and once we bring in 40 million passengers to JKIA we cannot allow them to travel by Uber. Let’s think long term, this Sovereign Bond must include a Mass Transit Rapid Rail System from Greenfield to all corners of the Nairobi Metro area which includes Machakos, Athi River, Ngong Town, Limuru, Kiambu, Thika, Muranga and all others, which must be served by A Modern State of the Art Rapid Rail Mass Transit System. Greenfield must include a Grand Central Subway Station to accommodate and dispatch these rapid electric trains. You cannot have one without the other. Bundle all this under the KQ umbrella and let the KQ board manage all these three projects as one. Float the Sovereign Bond and let’s stop playing around. KQ is key to Kenya’s growth. “Yes We Can Kenya 🇰🇪 “

Correction... The expatriates came, didn't work on solutions, continued life as if nothing was wrong with the failing company, collected their paychecks and millions of USD in bonuses even when the company was barely hanging on, and THEN they left.

Allan and team including his good chairman of the board have done an excellent job!
They have stopped the leakages and the monkey businesses that used to go on courtesy of the top and the politically correct. Hongera ndugu. I know soon we shall reclaim our spot on the continent and the world.

KQ is still ranked among the top 4 best airlines in Africa despite the decade-long losses and being heavily indebted! But I know the government has settled a good chunk of this debt and now for once in 7 years KQ has made an operating profit! So things are starting to look good and hopefully the restructuring in place will help to catapult KQ into being the best airline in Africa!
I also think we’re leaving a lot of money on the table by not investing in enough cargo planes ✈️ considering the fact that JKIA already handles the highest amount of cargo traffic in Africa!

Great questions from the witty CT and the super intelligent Ndu. KQ should listen more to their customers. The long haul flights need to be fitted with WiFi and better inflight entertainment.
Also KQ check in stations are always understaffed and snail slow until last minutes. The attitude of most of the employees is wanting and lacks customer obsession.
