You shouldn't spar like this until you are at least 6 months into training... Even then 6 months is very soon. You really don't need to spar hard unless you actually want to take a real amateur fight.
Most people dont sparr like they want to kill eachoter, but i must say i think it is important to atleast sometimes sparr hard enough so you really dont want to get hit.
That is really good. We had a guy come in a gym who used to come in regularly to do the workouts, but now just sparring. He would spar hard without telling anyone he was going hard and do this weird gesture with his hands like he was activating his magic power. I didn't get hit, but blocked some hard shots. Another guy he sparred did exactly what you did. He countered him hard, very good timing and used his own forward momentum against him.
Can't reproach the man for admiring his shots there in that final sequence. From the looks of it, he had earned in full that momentary indulgence. On the other hand, this clip was put together and posted out of the man's satisfaction in himself, his own performance sparring--that is, out of pride--much more than any altruistic urge to teach or even just to provide practical insight.
Great defense. Definitely circle more it will set up better angles and you really don’t want to move backwards so much. I mean this primarily goes for kickboxing you’re going to eat a roundhouse but also in a practical sense
Mexican pressure fighters have granite chins. However because their forward momentum and learning forward they have historically been weak to the body. I would focus more on liver shots it will slow him down. He’s not going to go down by a head shot
Man that guy was straight telegraphing, better off telling you what he was gonna throw next. To busy trying to throw power, probably cooked by the third round.
Brother where you got your headgear, I need one like yours and I've been unlucky to find one, i have a desviated nose and I want to protect it the most I can
Damn, do yall spar like this often or nah. I usually spar with my partners from my gym and we dos technical. Not rlly hard, only if were getting ready for a fight. Was dude new or smth or did u alrdy know him. I notice its usually some dude from another gym that comes in and does rounds and they go hard lol
Lmao he got the best of me everything you showed me tho😂😂good D but just cause you landed a few good timed shots don’t mean none it’s sparring. If it was real you’d have been slacking and getting those points counted against you
Greetings coach i have a question..is there any vision problem with this kind of headgear? I recent had nasal surgery and i want to get back in sparring thank you
good work. definitely counter off the block more and you'll completely kill his momentum like you did at the end. keep posting more!
Great tips brother will definitely!
Do you mean that it’s better to counter after blocking than to counter after slipping/rolling?
@@ashwinravi3973 yessir
His not that great his opponent his not aggressive he just dumb he had so many chance to take control but he just punching the air
On top of your impressive skills, you are a patient human being.
Buddy in the shirt stops being defensively responsible when he attacks, lot's of people do. All about learning
Now that’s realistic advice 💯
I wanna get into boxing but is sparring this brutal all the time lmao. I’ve just seen other vids of ppl sparring and they go a lot lighter
Not every sparring session needs to be hard. Technical is the best way to improve
A good gym will def work u up to something like this, not right away or in 1st 6-12month

my first sparring session in boxing was months in and was at first just jabs to get a feel of it

Them shoulder roll counters are so reliable on the inside , your opponent never expects it. Love your work 👍
Those counters are good. Keep up the work!
Excellent combo at the end I hope I can get as good as you
😂🤣. Beautiful work. Slipping all the punches and feeding him them dawg biscuits

I liked the head movement.
Got good head movements out of it though, nice block when he threw that Hook
Good work… great advice.
That’s some good sparring right there!
Love it 🥊
Counter is the most effective tool I think in box, even more when the opponent is strong or have a good defense
once you get used to being hit and u are calm, you quickly improve bc ur right its a thinking game
This is real cool, brother! 💪
Great work brother champ! 💪🏽💯🏆🔥🥊
Loved the video of what you were thinking and what you implemented new sub 👋
Thought he was gonna sing ice ice baby.
Hard sparing makes good fighters.
You're SOLID.
Very insightful. Thank you 🙏
Nice combos after the slips and blocks.
Nice coaching 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Video saved.
Thnx for the tutorial.
Stay blessed.🌈👍🏽🗿
It really is a thinking game
Great defense. Definitely circle more it will set up better angles and you really don’t want to move backwards so much.

Don't get too close, because that dog can bite.

Nice work. The best way to go against aggresive folk is to counter. As soon as you clock their go to combo you can start countering.
One guy is' boxing', causing the other to 'throw punches' 🧐
Bradley Martin: But I'm 260 😂
Great shit, a stiff fast jab has done more work for me than all the haymakers in the world, its just such a releable tool once you polish it out
My sparring partner... SONNY LISTON 🔥
When the aggressor cant counter the counter
Solid boxing
Go to the body.
You’re right. I wish I did that more.
Took me a long time to learn how to go to the body. Especially when you’re a stand up fighter.
It’s chess, not checkers. Great job champ. Coach was giving great advice and you was like water G. Flowing and crashing…
Yea I’ve sparred him before too he’s a wild guy 😂
Nice work
Great work sir
Thank you

This is my gym lol
Barbarian box that what i call it.
Man that guy was straight telegraphing, better off telling you what he was gonna throw next. To busy trying to throw power, probably cooked by the third round.
and yet he still landed even with the editing which showed the other guy's best part.
Usually they have shorter reach so use your jab
That guy youre fighting is off balance and wasting energy
I’m pretty new to pure boxing but is this a good way of beating like high pressure opponents as well?
Yes one good way 🙏🏽
Brother where you got your headgear, I need one like yours and I've been unlucky to find one, i have a desviated nose and I want to protect it the most I can
He might be aggressive, but he is very slow.
One is sparring, the other is trying to do damage/ko. Dude in the shirt is a terrible sparring partner
"Boxing is a thinking game"...yet y'all damaging the thing that thinks, ya brain. Think about that.
one´ce
Did ya thing
God is real! I know it ❤❤❤❤
Mar nice head movement brother
You would be in trouble against a guy with real ko power staying in the pocket like that. Your feet aren't moving fast enough
Damn, do yall spar like this often or nah. I usually spar with my partners from my gym and we dos technical. Not rlly hard, only if were getting ready for a fight.

To be honest I don’t call this aggressive 🤷🏿♂️🤣normal sparring
Guy with yellow gloves would get rocked by me wtf is he doing 😂
Your hands are flopping around bro
This didn’t a thinking game lol homie with no shirt is just throwing power after he blocks it with himself lol.
Greetings coach i have a question..is there any vision problem with this kind of headgear? I recent had nasal surgery and i want to get back in sparring thank you
Would you consider this hard or medium
