- The Netherlands, a country in northwestern Europe, contains one of the greatest cultural traditions in all of Europe. If you travel to this destination you can discover a great variety of museums, parks, and monuments of interest.
The first obligatory stop is the canals of Amsterdam. In this city, there are more than 100 kilometers of canals and for this reason, it is known as the Venice of the North. In addition, you can take a cruise known as Canal Bus that runs a tour with 14 stops and leaves you at the most important museums and attractions of the city.
Madurodam Park in The Hague is one of the most famous in the Netherlands. In it, there is a multitude of buildings and places made to scale that represent the most relevant landmarks of the country. It also has videos and multimedia facilities that help to better understand the history of the Netherlands.
The Port of Rotterdam is the largest in Europe and one of the oldest in the world. Nearby you can board the Spido, a tour boat that takes you along the Meuse River. Your itinerary covers the architecture and the most emblematic places of the Dutch city.
The Anne Frank House is located in the very heart of the Dutch capital. The house museum tells the story of this historical figure and the persecution of the Nazi regime. At the entrance, you can buy a brochure in Spanish where all the events that happened in each of the rooms are explained. It is essential to book in advance or you will not get tickets.
The Efteling Park in Kaatsheuvel is a very attractive place to visit in Holland with children. This park consists of a central area and four great kingdoms full of tales and legends to entertain, as well as modern themed attractions. It is open every day of the year, even in winter.

You know why we Dutch could make a country like this. We got all the major rivers from Europe like the Rine, the Waal and the Maas in our country to flow into the sea. Because those rivers are ending in our country. That started trading into Europe and later the VOC into the world. Greetzzz from Friesland Netherlands where they speak Frisian and Dutch!
