The smartest thing this channel ever did was keeping its ear to the ground, and adapting. They have realized its viewership is wide and as with the internet, it’s always in flux. Keep it up guys.
Love love love the offset tele. It's unbelievable how they're selling the Meteora at thousands of dollars and it's basically the same offset tele they're selling for 400 dollars/ 380 quid. I'll try my hardest to get my hands on one for sure. Great video as always!
Are you actually kidding me on that Toronado?! *) Shortscale, so easy on beginner fingers (and arms). *) Narrow/tall frets, so even easier on beginner fingers. *) 9-42 strings are standard, so easier _still_ on ... (you know the drill by now). *) Dual humbuckers, so don't care about electric noise. *) Standard Fender/Squire 4 bolt neck attachment, so if needed you can shim and micro tilt the neck for even lower action. *) A proper 22 frets. *) C shape neck. *) Hardtail bridge, so no troubles with tuning stability or tone due to a wonky bridge. *) Individual intonation adjustment for each string, so not fiddly like a standard 'brass bar' tele can be. *) Comfort cuts both front and back, so easy on the body if a beginner isn't used to handling an electric guitar. *) Dark coloured fretboard, so the strings are easy to see. (Indian Laurel actually looks great when oiled up a few times.) *) Vintage style tuning machines, so super easy to replace and 'lock' the strings, even if you didn't intend (or know you wanted) to. Also, you can temporarily take the strings off the headstock if, say, you want to clean the fretboard. Show me a more ideal beginner electric guitar of any brand, any price. Yes, I'll hold. 🤩
Okay, my Schecter Banshee-6 SGR. If your tastes are more modern rock and metal, you can get - Standard scale (allows down tuning on normal strings) Extra jumbo frets 9-42, HH, thin C, individually adjustable hardtail, Soloist-y body (smaller than standard strat) with cuts, dark fretboard with offset inlays. 24 frets with contoured heel joint. Graphite nut, with modern sealed tuners. 2 knobs, as opposed to the more fiddly 4. Basswood, as opposed to poplar. 14 inch radius, which makes everything except chords easier. Finally, only costs 200 USD, where the Toronado is 350 GBP.
Fender has really up’d their game with the Squire brand. I have 2 Squires an Affinity Tele in Butterscotch Blond and a Squire Standard Strat in Cherry Burst and I love them both. They play so great. I’m very tempted by these new paranormal series.🎸🤘
Since this video first came out I purchased the Tornado in Lake Placid Blue. I cannot imagine a better “bang for the buck” new guitar on the market. I will replace the tuners first and eventually upgrade the pickups, but they sound amazingly good out of the box. It’s hard to appreciate how far Squier has come in the last couple years. Five years ago I would have NEVER entertained the idea of buying one, only MIM for budget buys, but now I wouldn’t hesitate on any of the upper end Squiers. Great stuff!
Lot of folks don't realize Squier has been around much longer (1890's) then Fender before the acquisition in the mid 60's. Early on Fender was shocked at the quality for price coming out of the Squier factory. So much that it forced them to greatly improve QC and hardware features, good for us:).
I think you can tell by the excitement within the video, but we are truly blown away by the quality of the Paranormal range! Thanks for tuning in & glad you enjoyed the video🤘
Nice to see people enjoying the Poplar body guitars. I have had a couple now and the tone and resonance from them are amazing. My mahogany guitars are put to shame by them. Huge props to squier for using them in these models!! ❤
You excitement is so contagious that I think it will be some hours after my bedtime before I can retire, heck it fine it will be with a smile on face. Now I feel that its got to be be grabbing one of these bad boys ASAP! LOL!
That exit jam was amazing! Its true that the guitars sound awesome but it also has to do with the way you guys jam out and show what the guitars can really offer.
I’m guilty of always wanting a Fender, but I’m perfectly happy with my Classic Vibe 50s tele. I’m really loving that blue Toronado, that’s so pretty! As for sound, I think most any modern guitar can sound great in capable hands.
Fun fact: the Super-Sonic was inspired by a photo of Jimi Hendrix playing a right handed Fender Jaguar. The Cyclone 2 was inspired by a heavily modified Mustang they had with 3 pickups
I bought a used black Toronado , in great condition. A few issues, frets weren’t sitting in property and required glueing in. The bridge saddles were awful, replaced. Nut needed some filing. I was 50/50 on the bridge pickup but now it has grown on me. Machine heads are good . Maybe in a few months, I’ll get the electrics ( pots/caps/output jack ) upgraded. I love it and it’s a keeper
I'd have one of those Tele-masters today, if they came with a dark fingerboard. Also, holding out for a Classic Vibe Electric XII. Some of the far east made Gretsch guitars are at the peak of the bang-for-your-buck curve, too.
It's so great you guys are back in the same room! You've done an amazing job with the split screen videos but there's nothing like the vibe or being next to each other (classic vibe if you will) :D
Oh, man!.. Can't wait to get my Paranormal Offset Tele 😁 I was a bit bummed by the mail you sent me today about the "In Stock" date being moved from 2/7 to 5/8.. I guess I have something to look forward to 👍🎸
The blue Toronado looks like something I need. It's actually the Fender I've been looking for. Hardtail...check. Small headstock... check.... humbuckers.... check.... 2 tone 2 volume ....... check. Just damn.
Thanks so much guys... you've given me uncountable hours of absolutely unadultered joy... For me Andertons Music Co is the very best entertainment available !!!
It’s brilliant for Squire to offer guitars not available elsewhere in the Fender catalogue. I thought I had “graduated” from Squire to Fender years ago, but last year got the Squire Jazzmaster with active pickups and I love it. Some of these new guitars look really exciting me, and after seeing the great new quality of “higher end” Squires, I’m not afraid to buy them. I probably wouldn’t buy a Squire Strat today, but I might buy one of these!
I'm down in the comments during the outro and look up to see the captain is the one playing that tasty lead. I had to back it up and listen again. Well done! I know Andertons had the Jan tracks but these intros and outros could very well just make up an album. I could listen to Pete and Lee play all day!
I've been watching Andertons CZcams videos for a couple of years, and The Captain's guitar playing has gone from, well... rather embarrassing... to bloody good. What a great 3 minute intro. Usually I hang around for the intro to end so the informative bit can start (and Pete can wow us with his licks), but here I was hoping that the intro duet wouldn't end ! And then we had the outro jam. Oh joy. There's hope for all us middle-aged rather average players yet !
I have a custom shop toronado, An american production Toronado, A tornado made in Mexico and a Korean fender toronado with a set neck. So now I neeeeeed the squier toronado!!.. im psyched I thought this design was on the scrap heap of fender history. This is awesome!!
The parallel universe series should have just been a higher end version of these. They're trying nowhere near as hard to look cool and quirky and as a result are so much classier. My indie side has never drooled over guitars as much as it does over these. Well done fender
Morning gents! Great video. Love seeing you back together! Those guitars look and sound great. This is the first time I've thought "wow.. I need a Squire."
What I like about these is that they all have a very distinct sound to them in addition to the funky looks. Also, yes to narrow tall frets, as far as I'm concerned they can totally replace jumbos.
You're doing horrible things to my bank balance Captain Lee. I've already got my eyes on a Chapman ML3 pro modern in Hot Blue. Now you're tempting me with these.
I have a Player Jaguar and the Paranormal Tornado. It’s really hard to choose a favorite, but the Tornado being half the price of the Player makes the choice a no brained. If I could only buy one, it’d be the Tornado hands down.
Oh man, I was looking quite a time for an offset telecaster and now this 🙀 This will be my third classic vibe...they just won‘t stop making these gold nuggets
About time they bring back the Toronado. The most slept on guitar model in Fender's history imho. I hope they bring back a Fender version aswell in the future!
I did own a classic vibe telecaster in white blonde for a while. The fret job was wonderful. It is gone only because i have a 1975 telecaster now, and a 1977 telecaster.
This is the best Demo of these on CZcams, for some reason all the others have no idea on how to dial in a decent sound. Or are so bad at playing that it’s totally distracting. For a clean sound you still need a bit of gain and amp effect just like as if you are playing live. And the boosted sound shouldn’t be so distorted that is wouldn’t matter what you are playing. So I think these guys did a great job and this is the best sounding paranormal review so far. Well done guys
The offset tele is the best looking one in my opinion. I alway preferred the smaller telecaster headstock and a maple neck. I remember watching CZcams reviews a few years ago when they first came out and really loving the look of them. I regret not getting one and totally forgot about them when buying a guitar a few months ago. instead I got a surf green squier sonic strat for $180. But I have my eye on the olympic white one for my next guitar when I can finally justify it to myself.
@Andertons Music Co Hmm, I'm quite sure Toronado should be pronounced in the Spanish way TOROH - NAH - DOH. And the body shape resembles the Music Mans Albert Lee and the newest Mariposa as well. These Squiers are really cool guitars. It will be cooler if you can convince Fender to make a FSR of the Supersonic with the straight headstock hehe... fingers crossed!
The smartest thing this channel ever did was keeping its ear to the ground, and adapting. They have realized its viewership is wide and as with the internet, it’s always in flux. Keep it up guys.
Me after watching this video : "Honey, I need to buy something really essential."
A denim jacket?
@@AndrewPRoberts nah ! A Danish Pete.
Im the same way with the offset tele
Kukuku
They are amazing.
The offset Tele is routed for a humbucker in the neck and a Stratocaster pickup in the middle, just in case anyone wants to mod theirs.
Curious, how hard would modding in both the humbucker and middle pickup be? And would you have to route the pickguard?
Great, now I can make a Nashville Jazzcaster for under 500.
@@mngyuan they do make those pickguards already routed for that configuration. Should cost about $20
YES!
Thanks so much
Squier have grown to become my absolute favorite guitar manufacturer. I love that they've added so many excellent offset models to their lineup.
That jam was insane tho... You guys can make anything sound great!
Appreciate the comment. Thanks for tuning in & glad you enjoyed the video! 🤘
@Jay Jay okay.
I’m a simple man. If I see an offset, I click
There's always space for an Offset guitar... 😉

The "Offset Tele" has been unofficially called the Telemaster for years. Surprised Fender didn't just go with that.
I've heard some other company (not related to guitars) actually trademarked or copyrighted the "Telemaster" name. But idk if Jazzcaster is taken!
@@Lkease jazzcaster could also be construed as a jazz master and a strat.
@@DroneCorpse tru
the Offcaster
'Nomaster' would go hard.

My first proper electric guitar was a Fender Toronado. What a great guitar that was. Brilliant to see Squier bringing these back.
That Squier Toronado sounds pretty much identical to my 2002 Fender one in Gray. It looks 90% as good too. Nice!
Wanted a super sonic for years, put my order in on Sunday with Andertons for a graphite metallic one!
Looks like a new guitar day for you soon... 😉
Thanks for supporting Andertons & we hope you enjoy your new guitar!
Andertons Music Co now I just need to find the money for a toronado as well!
The super sonic was instantly my favorite. So weird and quirky. Right color too!
Enjoy. Keep it forever & don't lose it to a pawn shop when skint. They are pretty tasty. Might just order one myself?
Had my super sonic for just over a week now, love it, it’s really great quality for the money.
Something to note about the Toronados, their necks have a 24 3/4" scale length. That's the length typically used by Gibsons, like Les Pauls and SG's.
The offset telecaster looks so much better here than in photos
Just got mine it looks great the surf green is pure. The maple neck pops its a beauty
They definetly have that 90's alternative rock look, and they also sound awesome, AND THEY ONLY COST 399 USD WHAT THE HELL MAN I NEED ALL OF THEM
The Captains outro solo tho! Hes slowly showing more of his skills

It was sink or swim for squier. Too much competition in the price range in recent years, so they had to step up quality or fall way behind.
Yes. There is a Baritone Cabronita Telecaster. ❤️
Lot of folks don't realize Squier has been around much longer (1890's) then Fender before the acquisition in the mid 60's. Early on Fender was shocked at the quality for price coming out of the Squier factory. So much that it forced them to greatly improve QC and hardware features, good for us:).
I got my offset tele about a week ago and I’m in love with it. It’s such a great guitar
Great products! Fantastic content Andertons! Saying that I think Pete could make a tissue box and elastic bands sound good.
I think you can tell by the excitement within the video, but we are truly blown away by the quality of the Paranormal range! Thanks for tuning in & glad you enjoyed the video🤘
I love the offset tele because it gives a talman vibe and it feels comfy.
ShArPiE _head I was thinking the same, really want a talman so this could be a good alternative 😁
Prasanth Selvadurai I agree, but I’m 193cm tall so no problems there!
I think fender knows all of these offset tele is them saying “f*ck off!” to talman and such
The light blue with pearl guard to Pete’s left. So pretty!
I can see a lot of guys tuning that offset tele to weird tunings. It just screams midwest emo
That's exactly why I'm picking one up!
Or sonic youth mbv. F that emo crap
yep, that's why im getting it!
Lol that is funny
@@juka421 you can like Sonic Youth and midwest emo at the same time my dude
I love when the jam goes on a little longer than it should because it’s so goood!
Love the Toronado... which was also a 1966 Oldsmobile coupe. 7 liter, front chain drive, 385 hp... which is probably why there are FOUR chrome knobs!
Nice to see people enjoying the Poplar body guitars. I have had a couple now and the tone and resonance from them are amazing. My mahogany guitars are put to shame by them. Huge props to squier for using them in these models!! ❤

CV is absolutely right at the top of the curve. Well said. I am on board with the Squier Classic Vibe line. I would play any of the line.
There are no differences in quality in cv and paranormal, they are the best that squier offers
