Paranormal series is amazing "what if" from Squier. Even if some of them miss my taste, I'm so happy to see them do so great and funny experiments.

Granted, when I was a kid affordable guitars were 1/4 of the price of these, but then gas was 35 cents a gallon... but the affordable guitars when I was a kid were absolute crap. Squier is absolutely killing it. I love the paranomal line!
well there absolutely still are affordable guitars that cost 1/4, maybe 1/3 of these - and they still are worlds and worlds beyond anything you could've had 20 years ago.
it is crazy to think the quality of guitar you can get in that 300 to 500 range. G&L tributes, Squiers, Donner, Firefly, and my favorite, IYV are just killing it with the quality and price point.
If you factor in inflation it’s never been cheaper to find a quality guitar than it is now
@@bkmeahan if you’re talking pounds you can get a PRS or for a little more a fender. Great time for budget guitars
@@flyingrat492 I tried out a Fender Meteora and was shocked at how bad the fretwork and just overall quality was. Didn't even compare to my classic vibes or tributes that were half the cost.
It's always a good day when new paranormal Squiers are released. Definitely the most interesting stuff coming out of any of the big name brands

That Stratosonic is the forbidden lovechild I've always dreamed of. I think I'd rather that Nashville than the actual Fender Player one too. What an awesome Paranormal line-up as always.
Never really thought I needed a 12 string but that Jazzmaster XII is such a good deal it might have to enter the collection.
You’ve always needed one you just didn’t know it.
You can tell fender is making guitars for players not just collectors and they love to mod stuff themselves too. So much more interesting than an endless line of golden era reissues that aren't really spec'd like guitars they are based on.

Paranormal series has come a long way when it first released a couple years back. very Impressed with this run. Especially with the 12 string the telecaster and the the strat with the P-90s. but who am I kidding they're all rad!
The Nashville strat. Literally my dream guitar. Ended are the days of buying a stratocaster and replacing its pickups with the closest things to telecasters. I've been chasing the tele sound with the strat look and feel. No longer do I need to settle for a Nashville tele
What a fantastic range! The 12-string and the NashvilleTeleCustomStrat look and sound fabulous, and the one-pick-up Tele Esquire-ish looks like a versatile guitar with its switching options. Well done Fender/Squier!

I like how it too, but it it’s kind of strange when you see one in person since there are no body contours on the back. It’s just a slab Tele body that is shaped like a Strat.
@@charlesbolton8471 Oh that's wild, yeah I don't know if I would be entirely on board with that... I do like a good body contour on the back, makes it a lot more comfortable to play. I've not played many Telecasters but that's always been one part that I don't like about them.

Cool bunch of guitars! I love the Nashville Strat/Tele-I’ve been wanting something like that for decades. And it’s double-bound! Be still my heart! And it’s about time they did an Electric XII in the Squier line. I’d be really interested in that, but I’ve already got a Mexican Electric XII from the Alternate Reality series that Fender did in 2019. The Squier XII is half the price I paid for the Fender, and used are going for $300 to $750 more that what I paid for mine. I’ve even seen one going for twice the original price, but I don’t know if it actually sold for that. Original price was $999, with a crappy gig bag. It took me a couple of years, but I finally found a Jazzmaster case that was long enough to accommodate the 12-string headstonck. A regular Jazzmaster case won’t fit. I got my case from Amazon-it’s a Crossrock hardshell. I don’t imagine the Squier XII will come with even a gig bag.
Definitely grabbing a nashville strat not sure which color yet but my next guitar was already going to be a 3 pickup tele and every paranormal I've tried has been great. Fender PLEASE do a troublemaker tele in the next paranormal line!

Captain , I am amazed at the difference in your playing, now vs. videos from just a couple of years ago. Still looking forward to seeing you open a few Andertons stores here in Florida. A company called something like "Stringed Instrument Center" may end up having some vacant buildings.

Dude the nashville strat is a dream giitar of mine. And the p90 strat tickles my interest balls very nicely. I love what Fender js doing with Squier lately
Finally something fell into this realm from of the universe next door that is something we would want, rather than the tentacled abominations that usually spill out of that portal. They all sound fantastic, and if I didn't already have an electric 12 I'd be looking real hard at that Jazzmaster. Squire is really upping their game; they all seem like a lot of guitar for the money. I hope they do more with that Paranormal concept.
I'd love to see Squier bring back the Jagmaster. I have the silver sparkle one from 2002 and its my favourite guitar I've ever had. not the best gujitar ive ever had, but definitely the best looking
The nashville strat is FANTASTIC.
as far as keeping a 12 string in tune, i spent 3 hours friday tuning my piano so the 12string is no issue.
Squier Paranormal Esquire Deluxe resembles the very famous Deryck Whibley signature squier tele model. Just put two red Xs (ducktape) on it and remove the silly coil switch and you've got yourself an iconic punk rock machine :)
Red finish, single coil-ish pickups, series and parallel switch, I’d call that a Brian May guitar for sure! I NEED one!
I've purchased the toronado from the previous paranormal series, came to my house perfectly set up with the lowest action of all my guitars and a beautiful piece of wood and greatest feeling neck I've ever seen.
Ill have to get one.

I ordered that Jazzmaster XII in Lake Placid Blue. I've never been more excited for a Squier in my life! Can't wait until it arrives. I just wish it would have come with a cheap hard case or gig bag but otherwise Squier/Fender knocked it out of the park with this one! I also might need to buy that Strat-O-Sonic in Vintage Blonde.

That Nashville Strat is cool. Love the double bound body and the pickup selector moved to the back. A push-push pot and a tailpiece without the sides would perfect it for my taste.

Fender had a Stratosonic years ago, in TV Yellow and Heritage Cherry and they had Fender "Black Dove- P-90- style pick-ups. I believe they were American-made also. Early 2000's, I believe. I was really high at the time so it's a little foggy, but I remember them playing and sounding nice.
I love Paranormals, but I wish they'd tint the lacquer a little. It's so light.

Good explanation of a 12 string being a chorus. Digitech do the Mosaic. It has a different chorus voice for every string and the lower string have an octave up sound. It really pulls off a convincing 12 string sound. I have a Rickenbacker single coil PU put my Fender Duo Sonic . Used together gives me a Roger Mcguinn of the Byrds sound

I love the idea of the nashville strat/tele (and it's the only one you'll find in this price range), but I'm not mad on the colour. Based on the paranormal series' history I know they'll do some other colours down the line so i'll wait. A nice surf green would be INCREDIBLE on that.

8:00 I couldn’t afford the Player Plus version of this pickup config, but this strange hybrid model guitar checks all the boxes for me!! If only I had waited a single year! Just one year! Especially the 2-tone burst with the black pickguard. That is the perfect guitar!
I’m stuck with a lake placid blue Squier Bullet Tele now I guess.
I have the Toronado and the Offset Tele from the last Paranormal line and i love them... i thought i was satisfied until i saw that Esquire Deluxe 😍
That Esquire would be perfect for the Djentleman, especially with the bypass feature to get even more output. Although an aftermarket pickup would be even better too!

Even though some miss the mark, these paranormal and alternate reality series is always cool to see what they mixed up next. I saw these announced awhile ago, but im sure glad i did cause at the time i was just about to pull the trigger on one of the alternate reality XII that was out a couple years ago but im so glad to see squier can get me something similiar for almost a quarter of the price of the xii. Unfortuneately though, i talked myself out needing a 12 string.
The esquire deluxe really reminds me of the Deryck Whibley signature squier, single pickup, oversized headstock and all!

The original Fender Rascal was a short scale (30" iirc) with three lipstick pickups, the bridge is like that on the Guild Starfire, a five way switch, and a push-pull volume knob that offered more pickup combinations. They're lots of fun.

Jokes aside I was looking at the fender vintera jazzmaster and another 12 string separately and now having these 2 guitars in one is a blessing for my bank account. Love the creamy white colour, much better than the very harsh white of the normal squire jazzmaster.
